Some people attacked Dury and Karna in Van, I think that was the best possible way to eliminate almost everyone who wronged Draupadi, instead Pandavas protected them
Dushashan was there too, who's left?
Was Shakuni there in the forest?
They went to save Duryodhan on the insistence of Yudhishtir, hopefully Draupadi should have asked Yudhishtir alone to go and save them. All of them would have been over at once for good

🤪
He is still saying hello in heaven
I agree with all this.
that is why it is said to report a rapist and a molester so that he dosent do it with others.
Wasnt there an option of punishing dury and co without the war.
I feel bad that draupadi had to loose her sons in all this and also many innocents their lives. She was the one who was not at fault in all this yet has to loose everything.
There was an option, They had the chance to do it too
But the power was with Yudhistira, he didn't think what happened to Draupadi was a crime, The war didn't happen because or for Draupadi, it happened for the Kingdom
Kshatriya dying in war is the death they prefer, they don't consider it as a punishment. Look at how Karna's death is considered a tragedy, these people who died in war are treated like heroes by the writer
Yudhishtira as head of the state, the man who asks a woman to put up with sexual advances of a leech is not rule of justice
I don't see how they got punishment or Pandavas established a better system, In larger scheme of things the fight was always Duryodhana vs Yudhistira for the Throne, in the end Yudhistira won
Silver lining for me is Pandavas completing oaths they took for Draupadi and Bhima drinking Dushashan's blood
People make Vikarna a hero for no reason I guess
Maybe he supported Draupadi's claim in Dice Hall but before that he had never objected to anything.
We can't believe that KaDuDuNi confined in Yuyutsu but not in Vikarna. He definitely knew about the conspiracies
Makes me wonder if Vikarna support was aimed at ensuring Kuru elder/Pandavas acceptance of Draupadi's being owned by them?
That could explain why Duryodhan Dusshashan despite being his elder brothers didn't stop him and only Karna stopped him
There was an option, They had the chance to do it too

Actually, they did Ashwamedha after war. Then dismantled the empire completely in 36 months. There is no way it was years as Parikshit was still a baby.
So while not justice, war made sure one bad apple didn't get to rule over entire land.

I don't think Sakuni was there but don't think it would have been difficult to kill him later
Did Yudhishtir ever do anything himself? 🙄

Agreed it was more of a battle for throne
Forget Karna even Duryodhan's death has been glamouised to the core. Yes he gave a good fight to Bheem but that was because they got into one to one mace fight, he had actually fled the battlefield for the day since he couldn't sustain the injury in regular duels
They all died the death which Kshatriyas aim for and that too at the later fifties.
To be honest I don't consider that to be a punishment for their crimes but at least something is better than nothing
