This is my opinion and I respect yours, but I don't think these dramas are meant to promote anything, to be honest. They are meant for entertainment and some of them, yes have a lesson in them but not all of them do. Shows like Jalan, Hasad, Meharposh, etc. are meant to watch and move on with your day afterwards, but that's just my opinion. It may be different for others.

Yes these shows are for entertainment only. But they do leave a negative impact. I am hearing more and more people cheating on their wives and having affairs or getting remarried.

And even if they don’t leave a negative impact still they show woman as a materialistic person who would not even spare her sister to get her goal.

I mean what are you showing that women are gold diggers or psychotic that they would eye their brother in law/ friends husband or fiancée if they happen to like them. Don’t they have any shame? And these shows show the women as home wreckers and the guy gets off Scot free because in the end karma hits the conniving girl and the wife forgives her husband.

Oh I definitely agree with that. Too many times where the wife forgives her cheating or abusive husband and it gets so annoying. For example in Bewafa the main lead got his position in office back, and his family like .

I think we need to show it can go both ways. It's not always women who are wrong.

I think the lesson we have to learn from these dramas is to follow the rules which Islam put on socializing. Men shouldn't socialize with sisters in law or vice.. a wife shouldn't let her friends socialize with her husband. This way she can avoid blaming herself lately for her husband's betrayal. If he chooses to cheat on her after that so it is his fault.🤓
