Mahima was great in Pardes. I am not sure why he would think Mansi didn't suit her. But again Taal is the one performance of Aish that is celebrated till this day for her work. So I am not sure if Mahima would have outdone Aish. An actress or model that by chance has everything fall in her lap seems like Aish's real life story. The way she showcased heart break and trying to resist love to due to her family's honor was probably the challenge.
