Seher Hone Ko Hai: Seher tells Mahid about her dream to become a doctor, he REFUSES

Seher reaches the education board:

The episode opens with Mahid desperately looking for Seher after realizing she is missing from the house. At the same time, Seher reaches the education board office with determination in her eyes. She gathers her courage and submits her application form for an important examination. The office staff asks her to sit and wait until her application is officially verified. Though nervous, Seher remains hopeful because this step means moving closer to her lifelong dream.

Mahid learns of Seher filling the exam form:

Soon after, Mahid arrives at the same office while searching for her. The moment he spots Seher there, confusion and suspicion fill his mind. He wonders why she has come to such a place without informing anyone. As he watches silently from a distance, he overhears a staff member telling Seher that she arrived just in time. They explain that if she had come even a little later, she would have missed the deadline and would have been forced to wait another entire year to appear for the examination. Hearing this shocks Mahid because he realizes that Seher has been planning something important without his knowledge.

Amal happily congratulates Seher for successfully completing her application process. Before the moment can settle, Mahid storms toward them in anger. Unable to control himself, he flips a table in frustration, creating chaos inside the office. One of the employees immediately recognizes Mahid and warns the others. However, the staff calmly states that even if he damages the equipment, it will not matter because the final form has already been submitted and registered.

Husna grows suspicious about Seher’s absence:

Amal becomes confused by Mahid’s aggressive behavior and asks Seher who he is. With hesitation but honesty, Seher reveals that Mahid is her husband. Mahid bitterly asks whether she still remembers that he holds that position in her life.

Meanwhile, at home, Husna heads toward Seher’s room intending to wake her up. Kausar notices this and quickly creates a distraction by deliberately breaking a glass object. Husna suspects that Kausar is trying to divert her attention and decides she will not fall for such tricks. She insists on waking Seher so she can clean the mess herself. To stop her, Kausar intentionally injures her own hand. Seeing blood, Husna immediately shifts her focus and takes Kausar away to treat the wound, worried about the bleeding and the mess on the floor.

Back at the office, Mahid confronts Seher and demands to know why she secretly left the house. He accuses her of lying repeatedly and claims that her actions have ruined his peace and reputation. According to him, she deceived him once again by applying for the exam without informing him.

Seher reveals her dream to become a doctor to Mahid:

Seher finally loses her patience and questions him in return. She asks whether he ever tried to understand her feelings or her struggles. She admits that she once ran away from the wedding ceremony but points out that Mahid never asked her the reason behind it. Instead of seeking the truth, he simply judged her actions.

With strong emotion, Seher tells Mahid that she was not born only to become someone’s wife. She has dreams and ambitions of her own. Since childhood, she has wanted to become a doctor, and applying for this examination is a step toward fulfilling that dream. She explains that she never intended to damage his reputation. Her only goal was to reclaim her future.

Mahid refuses:

Mahid questions why she never told him earlier. He wonders if she would have refused to marry him altogether. Seher reveals a painful truth. She agreed to the marriage only because her mother’s life was under threat. She had to make a heartbreaking choice between saving her mother and continuing her education. She chose her mother’s safety and sacrificed her own aspirations at that time.

Mahid struggles to believe her words. He accuses her of constantly hiding the truth and reminds her that he is preparing to become a Mufti. According to him, she must live according to the expectations and values of the family and maintain their trust. He insists that pursuing such a demanding career is not compatible with the life planned for her.

Seher refuses to accept this limitation. She argues that she can fulfill her responsibilities while also pursuing her profession. She believes both roles can exist together. Mahid firmly rejects the idea.

Seher takes a stand for her dreams:

During their heated argument, a falling object nearly hits Seher, but Mahid instinctively steps forward and protects her, revealing that despite his anger he still cares deeply for her safety.

Seher then declares with confidence that she will sit for the examination and no one can change her destiny. At that moment, Kausar secretly informs her that Husna has begun to suspect something. Back at home, Husna questions Kausar directly, asking whether Seher secretly left the house. Nazima eventually exposes the truth, leaving Husna shocked and furious.

Precap:

Husna confronts Kausar openly. Seher arrives and gives a strong and fearless reply to everyone present. Husna orders her to leave the house immediately, but Seher stands her ground and asserts that she has every right to stay there.
