"Arey Sona breakfast to karke jao "
"Nai Rohit aaj early call time hai, set pe kuch kha lungi" She said while picking up an apple from the table and rushing out of the door to her car
"Kamaal hai ye ladki, kal dinner bhi nai kia aur ab bina breakfast kie chali gyi"
In the room, Rohit saw the weighing scale kept near the dressing table
"Arey ye kisne bahar nikala" He wondered while pushing it back under the dresser
Following day, 6am
Rohit turned around in his bed to cuddle closer to his Sona only to find her missing
"Itni subah ye kaha chali gyi" He got up, checked in the bathroom, balcony, she was no where. Just then he spotted her in the garden in her tracksuit, doing jumping jacks, he could figure she was clearing overdoing them, by her heavy breathing and the pool of sweat
"What exactly is going on with her" he wondered
Two hours later
She came back to the room, completely out of breath and dripping wet with sweat
She went and slumped on the edge of the bed
"Sona, are you okay" asked a concerned Rohit
"yeah yeah m fine, mujhe kya hoga" She got up to go take a bath
He pulled her by her hand and made her sit back
"Sab theek haina Sona? Lately, you've been looking so stressed, you don't eat properly, you're over straining yourself with all the workout, you look so tired and worn out all the time, Kya hua hai jaan?" He hesitantly asked
"Rohit. You also think I don't look like I used to before? You think I look worn out?" Asked a clearly upset Sonakshi
"What? I didn't mean that! And what do you mean me also?" Asked a confused Rohit
"Kuch nai!" She got up and left to have her bath
"Ho kya gaya hai ise" Just then her phone beeped with a notification..He glanced at the screen, some app notification, he gasped in horror reading what was written in the notification.
He picked up her phone and unlocked it to read the whole thing.
It was some kind of a social media discussion platform.
"She has gained so much weight, she doesn't deserve to be a lead heroin in the show"
"She looks so much older than the lead actor"
"She is definitely pregnant, warna itni overweight kaise hogyi achanak se"
"She is the reason the show is not doing well anymore, whose gonna wanna watch her like this"
"They should replace her and get someone young and fresh and in shape"

.
and so on!
All these comments, well some in her support too, made him disgusted. He just couldn't fathom the fact that people can write such things for other people!
He quickly got up and went near the bathroom door
He leaned against it and called her name with all his love
"Sonaaa, Sona please darwaza kholo, please mujhse baat karo ek baar"
He heard the latch click, he turned the knob slowly and entered, closing the door behind him
There she stood in one corner, eyes all red and face so pale
He swiftly moved to her and enveloped her in a tight hug. She just rested her body against him, tired
He picked her up and took her to the bath tub. Lowered her inside, climbing in with her and turned the shower on, on them.
He came closer to her and looked her in the eyes and undid the zip of her jacket, tugged on the sleeve with one hand and gently pulled it out while his other hand slid on her back underneath the t-shirt pulling her closer.
"You know what I felt when I saw you for the first time ever, lying unconscious on that couch of your set" he whispered with his lips resting in her hair
She opened her eyes to look at him.
He pulled her tshirt over her head and threw it away, while staring in her eyes
"My breath hitched in my throat when I saw you for the first time, I couldn't help but wonder that how can someone be so beautiful, so enchanting. I just wanted to keep looking at that girl lying on the couch.. for eternity. Her magnificence could've put a sunset to shame"
A slight blush rose to her cheeks
"And you know how I feel now, everytime I wake up to your sleeping form next to me"
She looked at him with desperation and hope in her eyes.
"I feel the same. Exactly the same, I still can't help but wonder how can a human form be this beautiful, I still wanna just keep staring at you all day long, just looking at you makes me forget everything that's wrong around me, in me.
"You are the most beautiful girl I've even seen in my life, Sona. But you know why I fell in love with you, why the world fell in love with Sonakshi Rastogi?"
"Coz you are not just beautiful on the outside, but also on the inside. The innocence in your eyes, the love in your heart, the purity of your thoughts, the caring nature of yours, not just for your people but for everyone, the dedication and passion you have for your work, the connect you have with your fans, the concern for everyone's well being.
I fell in love with how you are as a human and not how you look as a lady. That's just a bonus that I got, you know"
She smacked his arm lightly, smiling and teary eyed
"Sona, duniya walo ko jo kehna hai kehne do, I know they are your audience and it matters to you ki wo kya sochte hain tumhare bare me. Par tum ye bhi toh socho na ki kaun hai wo log jo bas apne phone aur computer k peeche baithke doosro k baare me bina soche bura bura likh dete hain.. Unhe nai farak padhta ki kisi aur ko wo padhke kaisa lagega, they wrote all that not because they hate you or they have issues with you but because they are unhappy in their own lives, they just needed a way to vent it out directly or indirectly. Main nai keh raha ki jo bhi internet pe kaha jata hai wo galat hai, criticism is just as important as praise but constructive criticism and only that, jo log sachme kuch kehna chahte hain, apna concern samne rakhna chahte hain wo sahi tareeke se rakhnge aur unki baat pe gaur karne me koi problem nai hai.. Par ye unnecessary hate se itna effect hona toh galat haina.. Promise me Sona tum aise kabhi wapas nai karogi, koi problem hogi to mujhse baat karogi aur ham milke use solve karenge.
"Haan Rohit, pata nahi kya hogya tha mujhe. Pehle bhi bohot logo ne bohot kuch kaha hai mujhe, par main is tarah aise kabhi affect nai hui.. is baar pata nai kya hogya"
"Sona, kya tumhe laga ki agar tum pehle jaisi nai dikhi to mera pyar bhi tumhare lie pehle jaisa nai rahega"
Sona lowered her head
"c'mon Sona you know me better than that!
Get this in your head, 10 kilo upar ya neeche hone se, tumhari mu pe pimple hojane se, tumhare hairstyle change hojane se ya aise kisi bhi wajah se mera pyar tumhare lie kabhi change nai hoaega.. To tum aisa kabhi mat sochna ki bas moti hojane se tum mujhse apna peecha chudha logi! Main leech ki tarah tumse chipka hi rahunga"
She smiled a big whole hearted smile, after a long time and hugged him tight
"I love you Rohit, I love you so very much. M just so lucky to have you as my pet leech"
He laughed and pulled her closer tightening the hug "Sona ab ham shower complete karle fir hame kaam pe bhi jana hai"
"Sirf shower huh?" She pulled him down and captured his lips in hers
He smiled in the kiss, happy to have his old Sona back <3
