More than old viewers, new TikTok generation viewers are hard to understand. And without researching they fell for RMC version ending of Ramayan ridiculing women saying things like feminists and feminazis will burn. I too was called names once but I block them. Still there are some good people to discuss. So these are the new vierwers both boys and girls who are treating it like some 3rd class Mills&Boons or Wattpad story. I won't be surprised if one day we will have Wattpad romance fiction on Ravan-Sita and Duryodhan-Draupadi too where Sita and Draupadi changed Ravan and Duryodhan with their love. Ghor Kalyug😆.

A movie is being made on Palace of illusions where they will show the non existent love of Draupadi and Karna. Draupadi and Duryodhan would probably be way too much because not only Draupadi was completely into her husbands but all the non Mahabharata sources show that Duryodhan might have had thousands of evils but he did love his wife dearly.

Devar and Bhabhi have a relation of teasing each other so what even BRC Draupadi did wasn't out of the limits.

Yes mentioning her uncle in law was wrong but Dhritrashtra could have punished her for that not Duryodhan

It happens in every shows except a very few. And in 1 show just because of men's ego a post like ACP was insulted that also thrice making women lose that job due to the same person who she was paired with. ITV continues to show egoistic men. Even in reality mem commits crime on women due to ego.

My bro told me that he was in a group of men and they were discussing Draupadi humiliation episode of MB and he was shocked to see that almost all of them were justifying Duryodhan's attempt to disgrace her! I too was mortified when he told me that those men said: usne galat bola, usko manners nhi the, uski wajah se yudh hua! 🤓 But I felt hopeful that even my bro is a man and he totally disagreed with them and laughed on their egoistic sham masculinity.

Karna was a tragic figure but nothing can justify his wrong actions. Period. In fact, Lord Krishna becomes the spokesperson and explains that two wrongs do not make a right. Just because you feel being wronged, you have no right to commit a bigger wrong. If you do then be ready for the consequence. Because, guess what, everybody feels being wronged by the world at some point or another in life. Our righteous Karma is to think about the larger good of all because in that, our individual good lies.

Sita was one strong woman. I am not very convinced by the way RMS has portrayed her. She was a warrior, an athletic and intellectual. And yes, I am aware that some people justify Raavan too. There is a book by a 19th century writer, Michael Madhusudan Dutt and there, he compares Sita's abduction with Helen's elopement with Paris (Iliad) 😡. Meghnad was his hero. Apparently, he didn't understand the meaning of Consent. I dislike his interpretation.

Personally, I strongly feel that the original purpose of our epics is really to show social evils and biases-prejudices. I am proud of MB and RM. As for some people's views, I'd better 'No comments'😆

Dron,a as a guru dakshina had asked for defeat of king of panchala . Arjuna defeated him and took away half his kingdom and gave it to drona. To take revenge king of panchala did a yagna. So dristadyumna and panchali were born out of the yagna fire.

Dtitarastra dispite being the first born could not be king since he was blind and then his son duryodhana also since yudi was born before him. This resentment remained with dtitarastra. Bhisma forced ghandari to marry drita and sakuni vowed to destroy kuru clan and made the dice from bones of his father and bro which listen to him. He always swayed Duryodhana and bro towards destruction.

Most imp Draupadi did question the legality of how she could be gambled away without her consent. She also said since yudi was a slave who lost her freedom he had no legal right to stake her. That was when duryo asked her to be disrobed except bheema no one tried to help her . But bheema had promised hi is mom never to go against yudi. So Draupadi had no one but her saka her well wisher so she prayed to him.

Since no one in the court stood for her she was well within her right to curse and destroy the people who humiliated her.

How come Drau be blamed when the planning and plotting happened before insulting Dury? Sorry, but only Dristadyuma was born for the purpose to kill Drona. And Drau too came out as his twin. Even if Drau was not in the picture the gambling and vanvaas would have happened and if there was any other woman as any of Pandavas wives present in the palace she would be staked and made a daasi if not disrobed. Yes, It could have happened when these people even did not spared in attempting to kill Kunti too. Drau insult to Dury was just a bahaana to put all the blame on her.

Anyways in real story Drau neither insulted Karna in swayamvar nor insulted Dury in her palace. Still she was insulted and molested which it shows the character of Dury and gang. So even if there was any other woman in place of Drau she would meet with the same fate. Don't know which idiotic started the fake story of Drau insulting Dury causing it to be shown in every TV shows and movies from them. Must be some women hater who wanted to put all the blame on a woman(Drau).

The yagna was made with the sole purpose of a son and king panchala was disappointed when she was born . But then a akashvani happened that said she is born with a celestial /divine purpose of Gods and will be the reason for destruction of lots of Kshatriyas.

This is written in original Mahabharata. I am not able to recall the name of the English translation.

I love Mahabharata and prob have like 25 books with all types of regional versions too .
