her expectation from family or to be precise her life partner she expected this from kunal but then Abir was the one who fulfilled it without even she expecting it... these are the 2 things which made her love abir.... if you notice she tried explaining herself after haldi khaand for each incident when they misunderstand her be it kuhu or varsha or anyone but with abir she never even tried explaining herself n she knew he trusts her blindly that is why even during their break up when he asked why she didnt say the truth about baba to him she rather than explaining first she expected him to understand her... and she decides for both of them without even asking him like be it the not wanting to live alone before breakup, now giving the mandap to kuku, letting kuku get married first, giving them the room, even her confrontation... first she used to have doubts that abir might misunderstand her like the boutique one, haldi as that is what happens with everyone be it kuhu or family they tend to misunderstand her intentions but once she got assurance her expectation from abir was high maybe this is the reason we saw her talking to nannu first before the market incident she expected n believed abir will listen to her but bcoz of his own problems that time it went wrong..

i agree with mini that we should be our first priority n mish is putting others before her but with abir she does have expectation n believes n she has seen too he will protect her when needed like the jungle she arranged all those only for this, he will trust her understand her which she doesnt expect from others... And depending on someone to do things for us is unhealthy but mish depends on abir who she knew will stand by her in everything she does is different this is what everyone expects for someone who can understand us without question...

Bold 1 and 2 - don't you feel these two statements are contradictory? I don't agree with the first statement, on the contrary I feel she expects a lot from people around , a constant validation that they won't leave her , that they will accept her the way she is , that's why sometimes she goes out of the way because she wants people to stay back , she has lived that life for some years where she was all lonely, technically no but emotionally yes , so dosent wish to go in those dark years again neither she wants people around her to go there ans spend a lonely life , the helping is her way of giving an assurance to others that don't be afraid , I won't let you suffer alone , I'm there with you....

I know a lot of the extreme reactions she assumes herself on her own like BP getting an heart attack if he gets to know about am rishta, abir getting totally mad at her spying on baba, but she is not wrong is assuming them, if you see from her side, people just left her one by one without giving her proper closures , the ones who adopted her never really tried to explain the big picture even when she became an adult, plus the constant taunts that she comes from a broken family, she doesn't deserve to stay here , she is responsible for 1000% of the miseries , all this leads a low self esteem and confidence beyond a point and that leads to a point where you seek out for the constant assurance and validation and that you deserve to be loved , you deserve to be respected and you deserve to be at this place ....her constant struggle to get a validation becomes a reason for her unhealthiness in relationships , plus mishti is generally a person who has a helping nature she tries to cross oceans for those who have shown no signs of crossing puddles for her , but what she fails to understand is that not all who ask for help are actually seeking out for her help , some are just manipulating her to create a blunder , meenu tops the list and some just wish to solve the matters in their own way like kuhu.

She feels so secured with abir , the main reason is her relationship with abir is something she formed out of her own will , she own desire to spend a life with him, to love him beyond infinity , all the other relationships were circumstantial for her , those relationships were formed because some people decided to leave her and that's why some accepted her ...she sees it that way , that's why the constant repayment of ehsaan goes there but with abir , he didnt adopt her , he didn't accept her because someone left her, he loved her because he accepted the kind of girl she is , just the way she is , and he acknowledged that aspects of her personality that somewhere she deeply loved about herself and now she is sure he won't leave her, so in truest form vo zidd karna seekh gayi hai

Bold and italics - and this brilliant part just sums my post - she is on the path of a beautiful realisation now, it's her path to be free from all the burden that she was unnecessarily carring on herself for all the years and I am so happy and proud of mishti , that this time, meenu constantly asked her to find about the coffee kaand person and inform her first but this time she broke the chain and decided to inform abir first and did that too

Lemme try to explain since I tend to swallow my words a lot because I dnt want to write much............😃

@Pink - I will rephrase my sentence where I said she doesn't have any expectations. She does have expectations but her expectations are more along the lines of how to safeguard herself.

What I meant is mentioned in my previous post which Nandu has also mentioned in her post. She has bare minimum expectations.

Okay I will relate with an example. When Kunal's proposal came for her and during the whole courtship period, what she expected from her life partner was simple practical requirements. She wanted that her life partner would never leave her, is dependable, who will support her wish for independance and would have basic trust in her. She never asked for love nor did she want Kunal to run behind her or pamper her. She tried to get to know Kunal the way he was, or tried to like him the way he was. Even with all her requirements she didn't get offended when Kunal didn't support her when her father's identity came out or when Kunal told her not work. Instead she tried to work on the relationship. Honestly, if you look at it, the kushti courtship had red flags from the beginning. We as viewers could see that their views don't match. Even Mishti could feel it. But she persisted in this relationship. Haan, its true that Abir's intereference also made her confused, with the whole flowers, date and all. But if you look at it as a whole the guy who was in courtship with her was not interested in calling her, or spenting time with her, or didn't try to know her interests, nor was he interested in what kind of person she was. But still she persisted in that relationship because she thought she deserved only that. In fact her thought is skewed because Kunal's treatment of her was her normal. A girl who was abandoned by everyone in her life gets some consideration from her date, like she sends her flowers,arranges a date and saves her from fire, he doesn't abandon her. So, it was okay for her to put up with Kunal ignorance of her. But looking at the bigger picture, don't you think she was settling or compromising because she never experienced anything better.Shouldn't she have the expectation of being treasured by her life partner?? If at all Meenu hadn't planned the chandelier fiasco then she would have got married to Kunal. 🤓

Like Diya said Abir was her unexpected expectation. He gave her what she craved from Kunal. Infact a lot more. He gave her unconditional trust and unconditional love. Infact Nishant was correct in saying(LOL.....I am agreeing with him now😆) that Abir was her addiction. And why wouldn't she be addicted?? If a person came into her life without any obligation, loved her, supported her views, never questioned her , infact even motivated her to fight for her rights, understood her fears, constantly provided validation that he loved her, her family loved her, made her realise that her family was hers. Infact, this was something she never got from anyone in her life.

During lakeside breakup do u remember her saying "tumne mujhe itna pyaar diya ki saari duniya mein bhi naa ho "😒. It was true for her, because in her world nobody gave her that unconditional love. I mean its amazing that a girl who wasn't even sure about love became so sure about someone. From "jab apne hi haat chode de tho haat thaamne ki aadat nahi rahti" to this, the journey was indeed amazing.

Why is it so difficult to realise our own feelings? Why is it so difficult to come on terms with it? Why is it so difficult to accept our own emotions? It was a happy day for mishbir after a long time, finally it seemed like their efforts paid off, Meenakshi apologised to everyone on how she let her ego come between her sons' emotions, how she is finally accepting kuku rishta, how last night the fear of losing abir changed her , last night changed something for mishbir too .....

Those memories were still fresh in her mind , when time played another game with them, when abir was stuck in a huge cyclone, that's when mishti real feelings surfaced again yes again, just the thought of him being in danger, tbe thought of losing him made her so restless , what if she lost him forever , that night the sight that she saw just pierced her heart, it almost felt like a part of her soul is going away, abir struggling to get out of the car , her struggle to hold his hand , thar broken peice of glass right inside his chest , blood all over his body, it was the scariest night of her life, only she knew how they survived

"Abir please tumhe nahi pata tum kab se so rahe ho , uth jao , mujhe tumhari nazron se painting vali ko dekhna hai " says a restless mishti to abir who was lying on the stretcher in an unconscious state ..those feelings that she kept inside were all out , time doesn't wait for anyone , when he wanted to say , she wasn't ready to hear , when she wants to hear , he couldn't say ....

Reality struck him hard , surprisingly or shockingly mishti was his muze, and more than that , was she the one he always loved ? He never knew when he started feeling for her , the realisation of love brings different feelings for different people , it's not always a necessarily happy feeling for everyone , for abir it was a mixture of happiness, sadness, confusion, fear, guilt , shock , surprise, all together at once, it was tough to say which emotion overpowered him , he just couldn't say anything, but those tears expressed tons of undefined emotions ..... the only words he remembered then were a warming by bade papa "mishti se dur rahiye" ....and he started rubbing off the colours , he wasn't even sure if his feelings were even morally correct ? Is he really going to follow this path ? Is he ready ? Is he courageous enough to speak? Is she courageous enough to hear ? Is the world ready to bear the consequences? Is this the destiny or is this something against the destiny? If only his life was simpler, if only he could find his answers all at once.

" agar voh dekh leti toh, vo kya karti , pata nahi main kya karta , I just hope jab tak main ghar jaun, vo vapas jaa chuki ho , main usse is waqt face nahi kar sakta " love knocks at our doorstep when we least expect it ....Why ? how much ever he tried to wash his face and clear his thoughts , the vibes aren't really going away , he knows he has to face it one day, he just can't run away, emotions are put to rest , only when they are expressed either through words or otherwise.

"Dost , vo teri dost hai , vo tere bhai ki hone vali wife hai , yeh painting kuch nahi badal sakti kuchh nahi " saying so he makes an attempt to burn the painting, more so an attempt to burn his new found feelings for her but again before he could do so the candles blew off , he knew his boundaries were just confined to friendship , but what he thought as something to be against destiny , who knew that was his only destiny !!

"Abir main samajh nahi paa rahi , yeh rishta tumhare liye strength hai ya weakness , tum khush ho ya dukhi ? " she knew there is something that is really bothering her and it has a connection with that painting, she didn't even realise when his troubles became her struggles.

She always knew there is something about the painting that mesmerised her "ghar jaisa, simple sa sidha sadha lekin bohot khoobsurat " the lines just touched her heart, she also knew how important that painting was for him , that's why she didn't mind jumping into the fire to save it , for the world it was just a painting, but only she knew that the painting meant the world to him , sadly she didn't knew she was that world, and he didn't knew how important that world was for him ... a pool of emotions they faced.

Dard tha mere hisse ka , dard se lekin wo guzri, Mere khatir ek ladki aag ke dariye mein utari,

Tu is rishtey ka naam dhundh raha tha , ab naam mil gaya toh le nahi paa raha, kya karega abir , yeh rishta tere samajh nahi aa raha , tu dusro ko kaise samjayega ?" that's when his inner voice replied, he imagined mishti his inner voice , he imagines his own advice to take that 1% chance , will he take ? What abir wanted to do was going against a wave , it takes a lot of courage to do so , will he take that big step ? Yes he did , taking his balloons, his signs of destiny , he finally decides to speak up

But everytime he tried to face his reality, the other reality strucked him hard , was he still ready to face the consequences, he thought letting out our feelings can be the easiest thing in the world , when did that become a difficult task for him ?

"Kya tum gordhana ke liye taiyaaar ho ?"

That's when he realized he is going against the destiny , the two most important people in his life had already taken the decisions themselves , he and his feelings will ruin it all for the three of them....may be his feelings were always meant to stay within , that painting was always meant to be hidden , until one day he saw her diary, he got a glimpse of her feelings , he realised she has unknowingly started feeling for the "person" that actually he was , that wasn't really love but definitely the fondness that she has for the "person"

the kunal that she had imagined was actually abir , once again he tried to share his feelings , and that's why he came back only to realise that mishti and kunal have their own battles to fight , somewhere he was also responsible for the complication,

can he really complicate the already complicated ? Just like he took his own time to realise his feelings, doesn't she deserve the time to realise her own feelings , can he again unknowingly push her in another relationship just because he feels something for her , would he like to repeat the same mistake again ? What if it actually destroys the friendship that they shared , they say time heals everything then let's give some time. Again is this the time to confess his feelings? She wasn't ready and so was he.

As their friendship progressed, mishti's admiration for abir increased , she didn't even knew when she started thinking about him , when he became so important to her that she started following his words., ehe she started liking the time she spent with him , unknowingly he became her go to person ..Day by day her curiosity to solve the "who is painting vali" mystery increased , what was so intriguing about the painting she didn't knew, but every word about the painting vali made her feel connected because of admiration that abir had for her , was she getting jealous? No ways why , why should she get jealous, did she desired to be the painting vali , no no not at all , who said that, when did that happen , but still she wanted to know, was there someone in abir's life who was as important as her , or more than her , oh wait what is she thinking?

One day kuhu decided to run away from the house, mishti knew the situation would worsen and so she decided to meet abir, since abir wasn't picking her calls , she just decided to meet him , staying true to her name and stealing jugnu's uniform , she enters his room only to accidentally see his painting , and that moment her world just froze , she couldn't take her eyes away from that painting .... parul massi's words came true abir ke mann se nikli awaz siddha misbri ke mann tak pahuch gayi.

"Yeh painting , exhibition ka centre peice jisse abir sabse chupa ke rakhna chahta tha " her heart started collecting those memories "Main itna jaanta hun ki uske saath mera bohot gehra rishta hai "

"Vo meri baat kar raha tha .......... abir"

"Abir mujhe pasand karta hai usne meri painting banayi ?? " ..... she said while tears flowing from her eyes , there was so much going within her that moment.

Normally when you know a guy has fallen for you you feel happy ..you jump in joy you dance ...do all crazy things...but mishti .. .. she was just calm , couldn't really find words to express herself , she gets shocked and surprised that actually there is someone who likes her, who is somewhere inviting a future with her , who is accepting her with all her flaws, who isn't trying to change her or expecting anything from her but wants to embrace her just the way she is, is that even possible? can someone really love her like that ? Did he always love her ? Was he talking about her? Was she the one who is sharing the gehra rishta with him , is that true ? She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realise she left one nishaani, her cinderella shoe at his doorstep! She feels she is not worth it .she is still underconfident about herself...If we go back in the time and analyse her ..we know why she gave such reaction ...imagine a 12 year old girl...who is suppose to enjoy studies make new friends explore hobbies..is suddenly left by her mother, her father who now uses her name to get money from others , a grandmother who has abandoned her without explaining her anything, suddenly the rainbows and butterflies around her just vanished , she was not small to not know what is going on but not big enough either to understand it , imagine the confusion and pain she must have gone through. We can say she could move on but childhood scars aren't easy to forget , when we see back we have wonderful memories of being a child, when mish sees back, she sees only darkness filled with betrayal and pain. Sometimes I believe that the courtship she demanded was not because she is modern n all , but because she knows when a couple breaks off, more than that those two individuals ...those who are dependent on them suffer...

Whar she said to Abir in the car " ki chahne se kya hota hai... vahi hota hai jo kismat mein hai "this shows she somewhere has lost the hope for herself, may be she feels guilty and why wouldn't she.....tell me who openly except for bade Papa and Abir told her that what she did was right...people made her feel she was wrong.. directly or indirectly..just blamed her. May be that's why that moment she felt ..uska kuchh ho nahi skta. ..kuhu ka to ho jaye..ek Insan blame krna bandh krega kam se kam.

That time the feeling of unnecessary guilt had filled the space inside her heart to an extent that she wasn't letting the feeling of love take over , because the heart was already overloaded with other emotions, sadly for her , love had to struggle to make a place for itself. Strange na, both of them realised their feelings of love at the time where there was a huge volcano of emotions that was going inside them !! Oh why is love so complicated ?

Mishti was nervous at his best , so much that just the thought of going to rv house gave her gud gud sensations in the tummy, kuhu had to literally drag her to get up and get ready , on top of that, Abir and his reactions weren't really helping her , she purposely tried not to look at him , but she could feel his deep brown orbs only and only fixated on her , uffff that wink , isn't he aware about their surrounding, slowly as he started approaching her , she literally felt those goosebumps, and she again runs away, but she knows she can't avoid it for long , the time has arrived when they are finally to accept what they feel for each other ...

"Nahiiii mishti mere saath chalo" says abir in his deep husky voice with eyes fixed at her , the deadly combination of his deep bright eyes and deep husky voice just froze her , she forgot what she was trying to say , that's the effect he has on her , the world around her just goes blank

"Chalo varna uthana padega !! " he said while trying to pick her up , was that an ultimatum? Was he trying to intimidate her ? Huh.. Where is her magenta I mean brown belt ? She knew where this conversation will go , she knew she is the painting vali, the volcano of nervousness and excitement going on in her heart , It almost felt like her heart is gonna jump out anytime , a part of her was always ready to hear , a part of her was still in denial mode , but as they say don't run away from love , run towards love because there lies your heart , this was the time for the muze to hear from the artist himself

Yes exactly, Abir was ready to listen to Mish when going to meet her, he knew that she would never blurt out the truth so frivolously without a proper reason. Unfortunately, the half-heard conversation and build up emotions got the better of him..and we can't blame him completely - I mean he had literally ruined/sacrificed his entire happiness and future for the sake of Kunal and his reputation, he broke the very thing that gave him the whole word worth of love and happiness, just for the sake of "this birth truth" that had to be hidden. Now that same exact reason, that same truth has abruptly come out (without any warning to him) and shook his world to the core again. Remember, Abir had also just convinced Parul that they should reveal the truth, it's about time...so he obviously had a plan and knew how to let Kunal easy down to the truth but here everything flipped upside down!

Ohh mini i think this is one common factor we both agree with that it was more of mish choosing nannu over him was his anger in market smiley36 its like he was angry on self that he lost mishti to someone else it was clear from the way he was so angry during the every market meet of them... he himself agreed naa that he was affected by nannu n her closeness... he trusts mishti n knew she wont say such a thing to kunal without a reason but the reason he refused to hear her out was bcoz she chose nannu over him first n then came to him literally he mentioned her as nannu girlfriend n didnt let her speak the anger was there bcoz of not able to tell rectify what went wrong in the way he wanted as he was ready to say truth to kunal himself n he was ready to mend their relationship(mishbir) too but seeing this he lost that hope too thats the main reason...

Yes I agree he was more upset with himself, his own stupidity had let her go , he also saw how slowly mishti's priority is nannu and not him , that pinched him a lot , and his girlfriend dialogue also came because of that 😆 but I don't think so in the market scene that was the main matter , it became one at a later point of arguement for sure

When abir was chasing kunal on roads , he was talking to himself that how mish knew everything already then why didn't she inform him first at that time ,he could have handled things better then , he could have found a better solution if given some time , remember he had planned to reveal the secret to kunal, he was on his way, the way the truth came out , it just ruined everything plus his whole sacrifice went into a waste if mishti already knew before ...so this thought was always there , he wanted to meet her because he had few questions from his side too which he wanted mishti to answer, yes he knew her and he knew mishti wouldn't do it purposely but now she has done , she is supposed to answer some questions... nannu's presence in the whole scenario just diverted his mind in the ongoing arguement, the main reason was still kunal, that's what I think 😆

You guys think Abir is some self less soul.....par utna bhi nahi hain.....he was thinking about himself more than Kunal. I mean I agree that he was confused about how Mishti knew the truth,why didn't she tell him and why she told Kunal now?? Yeh sab uske dimaag mein thaaa.....but he was willing to talk it out with Mishti and maybe try to get back with her. But when he saw Mish and Nannu he lost his hope as diya said. And the whole convo was misleading. He thought mishti revealed the truth to Kunal because he tried to come between her and Nannu or tried to verbally abuse them. In his mind if Mishti still loved him she would have tried to handle the situation without revealing Kunal's birth truth, beacause it would indirectly hurt Abir also. But she revealed it for some petty issue about Nannu. His mind decoded it as her priority has shifted from him to Nannu. He felt betrayed. He lost it and lashed out at her. I mean look at the dialogues he said, do you think Abir would ever think such thoughts about Mishti....he said she was selfish, you got a boyfriend who would never hear anything against you, I hate the fact that I love you......🤣

I know its irrational, but emotions toh aise hi haina. Lol.....believe it or not he wasn't focused on Kunal even if the argument was about that. He was sulking that Mishti didn't prioritise him🤣......I know it sounds kiddish but he is a kid when it comes to her.

Reality struck him hard , surprisingly or shockingly mishti was his muze, and more than that , was she the one he always loved ? He never knew when he started feeling for her , the realisation of love brings different feelings for different people , it's not always a necessarily happy feeling for everyone , for abir it was a mixture of happiness, sadness, confusion, fear, guilt , shock , surprise, all together at once, it was tough to say which emotion overpowered him , he just couldn't say anything, but those tears expressed tons of undefined emotions ..... the only words he remembered then were a warming by bade papa "mishti se dur rahiye" ....and he started rubbing off the colours , he wasn't even sure if his feelings were even morally correct ? Is he really going to follow this path ? Is he ready ? Is he courageous enough to speak? Is she courageous enough to hear ? Is the world ready to bear the consequences? Is this the destiny or is this something against the destiny? If only his life was simpler, if only he could find his answers all at once.

She always knew there is something about the painting that mesmerised her "ghar jaisa, simple sa sidha sadha lekin bohot khoobsurat " the lines just touched her heart, she also knew how important that painting was for him , that's why she didn't mind jumping into the fire to save it , for the world it was just a painting, but only she knew that the painting meant the world to him , sadly she didn't knew she was that world, and he didn't knew how important that world was for him ... a pool of emotions they faced.

One day kuhu decided to run away from the house, mishti knew the situation would worsen and so she decided to meet abir, since abir wasn't picking her calls , she just decided to meet him , staying true to her name and stealing jugnu's uniform , she enters his room only to accidentally see his painting , and that moment her world just froze , she couldn't take her eyes away from that painting .... parul massi's words came true abir ke mann se nikli awaz siddha misbri ke mann tak pahuch gayi.

Normally when you know a guy has fallen for you you feel happy ..you jump in joy you dance ...do all crazy things...but mishti .. .. she was just calm , couldn't really find words to express herself , she gets shocked and surprised that actually there is someone who likes her, who is somewhere inviting a future with her , who is accepting her with all her flaws, who isn't trying to change her or expecting anything from her but wants to embrace her just the way she is, is that even possible? can someone really love her like that ? Did he always love her ? Was he talking about her? Was she the one who is sharing the gehra rishta with him , is that true ? She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realise she left one nishaani, her cinderella shoe at his doorstep! She feels she is not worth it .she is still underconfident about herself...If we go back in the time and analyse her ..we know why she gave such reaction ...imagine a 12 year old girl...who is suppose to enjoy studies make new friends explore hobbies..is suddenly left by her mother, her father who now uses her name to get money from others , a grandmother who has abandoned her without explaining her anything, suddenly the rainbows and butterflies around her just vanished , she was not small to not know what is going on but not big enough either to understand it , imagine the confusion and pain she must have gone through. We can say she could move on but childhood scars aren't easy to forget , when we see back we have wonderful memories of being a child, when mish sees back, she sees only darkness filled with betrayal and pain. Sometimes I believe that the courtship she demanded was not because she is modern n all , but because she knows when a couple breaks off, more than that those two individuals ...those who are dependent on them suffer...

Whar she said to Abir in the car " ki chahne se kya hota hai... vahi hota hai jo kismat mein hai "this shows she somewhere has lost the hope for herself, may be she feels guilty and why wouldn't she.....tell me who openly except for bade Papa and Abir told her that what she did was right...people made her feel she was wrong.. directly or indirectly..just blamed her. May be that's why that moment she felt ..uska kuchh ho nahi skta. ..kuhu ka to ho jaye..ek Insan blame krna bandh krega kam se kam.

That time the feeling of unnecessary guilt had filled the space inside her heart to an extent that she wasn't letting the feeling of love take over , because the heart was already overloaded with other emotions, sadly for her , love had to struggle to make a place for itself. 1. mishti isn’t sure about her feelings😊....

2. Abhir wants to know and see what mishti actually feels for him

3. Abhir meets with an accident.... mishti is restless n searching for abhir

4. She has no clue what’s making her so restless

5. She sees Abhir in a bad state... hurt n injured

6. She does everything she can to take him out of the situation

* special mention for her dress there *😳

7. All she knows is she cannot lose him, she needs him, his friendship n his support

8. So much so she sits beside him till he wakes up the next morning and sees her

He is happy

Starts doing nautanki ...😆 sees a beautiful mishtu all asleep holding his hand and sleeping beside him...

he takes her hand as a pillow and sleeps with a smile and tease

She tries to free her hand but stops

She is all tensed and shouts at him indirectly for putting his life in risk

He is all smiles

they are close n he questions her why was she worried why is he so important to her

His family comes and she decides to go... not before he declares in front of all that she is the reason for his survival
