Oh I have even a bigger confession to make...
I find Ramayan show borring...I mean they take 15 mnts to just take one step....and dialogs toh itne slow speed mein bolte hein, sunte sunte mein bhuddi ho jao...
aaj ke time main sab over acting sa bhi lagta hai but its all about time ..tab ke waqt yeh sab hi blockbuster tha 😉

This I agree. Between Ramayan and Mahabharat I think I have always liked Mahabharat more.
Mahabharat is my all time favorite....There is no other show which has impacted me like it did....And the old one is above any version that they came up with later on!

I heard about that...They all must be the people who actually watched it live during its first telecast...Nostalgia and all!

I know but still...I even tried increasing the speed of the video...Other than it becoming even more weird, it didn’t help much...But ha, I must say the songs are too good...and also Ram and Sita looked so genuine....👍🏼
I liked star plus Mahabharat more than DD one.i never watched Ramayana any version tried watching siya ke ram but didn't like it.

I couldn’t even go past the first episode of the Star Plus one....May be because by then I have watched the older one so many times that it just got etched into my memory and refused to accept anything different....
The key characters Arjun, Krishna, Bheeshma, Vidhur, Draupadi and Duryodhan are some of my favorites in the older one and its hard to imagine anyone else in these roles- especially Krishna’s!
