Since you've listed out the comparisons between the ML and FL, let me do the honors of listing out how the FL and supporting actor, or as some would argue the parallel ML are treated differently.

Prerna is expected to worship the ground he walks on. Even though her marriage to him happened in less than ideal situation she was bashed all the time because she didn't develop feelings for him, because she pined for the love she had lost. Prerna even making rotis for someone else in the middle of the night was disgusting, but Bajaj propositioning a woman half his age, who was pregnant and engaged at that time with a "deal" was cool, coz hey, she agreed. Mutual consent bro!

If kuki is dreaming about boys in india, chee, it's all prerna's upbringing..

If she bravely goes to save her mother, bajajs blood after all.

If prerna doesn't console kuki after she regains consciousness, instead asks about anurag, she is the worst mother. So much so that her own daughter is better off without her.

But Bajaj calls kuki only to talk to prerna, because he couldn't reach her phone, and doesn't have a single word to ask his daughter how she is,alone in a new country, is all OK. He's a man of few words.

Prerna has still not moved on from her past. In 8 years she has not fallen head over heels with this man who saved her. She was betrayed by one man so the solution, if she were a strong woman would be to move on with another. She hasn't done that. So She is hopeless, spineless, loser etc etc..

But Bajaj continues to love a woman who has neither led him on nor given any such hint is the greatest love of them all.

See. Hypocrisy exists everywhere. 🤷🏾‍♀️And since Bajaj is such an important part of kzk and prerna's life, we need to do this comparison too.

Great points hope! More than anything the bad parenting bit shocked me the most. Talk about feminism and put most of the blame on the mother(in this case the step mother). Its true that itv is sexist and we the educated urban viewers too are. This forum is itself a great example of that where the FL gets trashed by fans of both the ML and Parallel Lead depending on who she is with. If she makes roti/chai for her ex BF, she is trash and having an EMA. She doesn't fall in love with the character I stan , she is totally worthless..not worthy of my man at all. When and whether she wants to move on in life should be completely her choice..isn't it? Even if she is stuck in her past, do you think it is ok to shame her for that? She is a successful business woman today but all her success is attributed to the Parallel lead even when it was made clear that she did not use his contacts.She takes a business decision and everybody is sure she will dubao his money. She is nothing without his surname.I have been reading such posts on a daily basis here. Such blatant sexism 🤷‍♀️

Anurag setting up divers to save prerna is lame but Bajaj waiting for prerna to fall instead of saving her beforehand is heroic.. I am super impressed actually

yes track has written like that .. in last bajaj track Prerna's character clearly was full of EMA . CV horribly tried to shape her character as disloyal to her husband for saving the image of ML..

even again in last komo track before bajaj .. they tried to change the moral code of prerna , during Anulika SR arranging scene she craved to get Anurag once again in her life wher eon that moment she dint know sona is komo, and also as per that current scene , sona saved anu and they legally married..

but cv amazingly brought a track for ML 's memory losing where whatever he did with his wife ,it will be justified as he has no memory ..

unfortunately , ITV cvs are maximum time , ML pro more than FL.. where they put justification for ML , but not for FL unfortunately 👎🏼

If it's completely logical for a ML to throw a FL in broad daylight then Bajaj saving her in the nick of time is logical as well. In fact, if he didn't Prerna would have drowned. Now... we don't want that,do we. 😆

But its all about 'Who has done it'. Reason for this show ML who is the most spineless male character ever goes scot-free everytime inspite of being wrong from the time of Komo1 entry. He let a woman like Komo to win, without even fighting or let the person in question to know abt it or let tht person fight. Not once but twice. That says it all. I am not writing in detail abt what all was shown abt this character in previous RB track by the same writers who never properly justified those stuff 😆

As far as ITV FLs are concerned, they will be the last person to not get judged for what is shown. Let alone Why How etc. Thts ITV audience for you 😛

Particularly this show FL is judged by purely basis 'Who she is with'. (Not anyone's fault as she has no own identity anyways and what she does 😆)

It has become a practise. Cant see this perspective changing in near future. Sad reality of ITV standard.

Exactly.. This problem originates from the level of the writing, directing and goes on upto the viewers ending with fans like us who post in such forums and discuss.

A couple more instances I hated.

When pre says she wants to go back to india coz she has lived upto her end of the deal and acquired 3 companies, bajaj says she did it coz he created problems in the original owners life. Was that really necessary? So are you trying to say that she could not have achieved anything if you hadn't cleared the path for her? How demoralizing and degrading to a woman. Why was that dialogue even necessary?

Yet another time, was after the end of Komo 1 track where many of us kept waiting for anurag to apologize to Pre for the humiliation but we never got it. It was just brushed under the carpet. She deserved an apology then.

This is exactly why I said this is problem with every male and female character in itv. And I agree with you, it would've made for an interesting discussion anywhere else where just 1 character would not be seated on a pedestal and be above reproach.

True! I think ITV gets a special type of joy in making the FL suffer in the hands of the ML over and over again. But while the sympathy mostly stays with them, in KZK2 they always shift it to the ML. For reasons well known 😆
