I was waiting for you to update and the part was totally worth all the wait. I loved their confession and their moments in Rohit's room.

Honestly I would love it if you could continue this story for a few more parts. Ronakshi here are so different yet so similar from the one in the show. And the confession just took place so I would love to read a bit more about their courtship period ,since we didn't get to witness that in the show. But I understand if you want to wrap the story. I absolutely loved reading this TS and thank you for sharing it with us. Please post an epilogue.

Part-4 - Unexpected past and Jealousy

“Rohit” she entered into the room and looked at him just lazing in his couch.

“you were busy.. that’s what I thought” he was moody for some reason.

“you’ve a big celebration for the new project bid winning … you need to be there” she said.

“I don’t understand or care and I already congratulated” he said it in one go.

“it’s okay if I don’t attend but you need to . just yesterday you were excited” she sat in the bed while asking in a complaining voice

“I was excited because you will be with me. We will be their in a actual big congratulatory party together.” He stated the genuine reason.

“you know aunty called and was really sad none of us are coming .. she felt it’s me who is busy which is true but“ she felt guilty.

“FYI… from last two weeks we haven’t hit the bed not even for once.” He was super pissed and upset.

“Rohit .. it depends on both of our schedule and we both were totally trapped in work” she said to remind him

“ whatever.. lets just stay home” he looked at her with sad cute faces

“no.. get ready we need to go” she dragged him. She had no wish to go but she knew without her he is not going to attend just like he hasn’t done inpast years according to his mom.

He changed into a proper formal of black and white combo and she wore a beautiful dark greem colour with golden shades gown .

“we came together so what … you are pooja’s friend and I just picked you up” he was totally frustrated.

“Don’t start nagging again…” she pleaded cutely.

“what was the need to say in interview that I know sippy family thanks to pooja.. you should have just told I am dating rohit sippy.” He again said to show his frustration.

They entered the hall together and yes a few eyes were stuck on them .the way she walked accompanied by him and greeted his family first then everyone else .

Once they entered they had to stick with others not to make it obvious that they are a couple. But time to time they kept checking.

She started chatting with their one of the new young senior manager and it looked like she enjoyed.. well she was not alone, others were also there pooja and few more but rohit can only see sona laughing.

Since it was more or less of a party for every known person so raima was also there. Her father was a investment banker and good friend of sippy family.

Raima came towards him when he was burning in 104 F due to jealousy . he gave her a nod . just a nod with smile.

She started talking and just to divert attention he responded in a general manner leaning on to the pillar. Raina tried to create something or bring back the spark she always felt they had. It immensely hurt her when hermom mentioned about rohit Sonakshi interaction. She broke up with Deepak 3 months ago because money can never give the attention or love one needs to survive. The guy was super busy and doesn’t even had the time to look at her.

She wanted people in party to look at them and since earlier they were a couple the most instant reaction would be “are they back together ?” little did she knew she kept speaking about their common friend old times and rohit was busy in his smart watch checking some features only nodded.

He had no idea by now sona has fixated her eyes on him. She looked and knew he is not interested but that didn’t pacify her at all. She was impatience why they are standing together more than 5 mins. Someone else joined and slowly raima hold her hand onto rohit’s arm sheepishly. He didn’t notice as he laughed about something.

That’s when the patience level ended. She send a message “ask her to untangle that hand”

He checked the message.

No emoji no expression nothing… it indicated she is serious

“you carry on your laughing night with that fellow” he replied as he found her glaring.

“there are 6 or 7 people not like you two” she replied

“you know me” he said being serious which meant I am not interested in anyone else other than you.

Just at this exact moment raina leaned towards his shoulder.

She furiously typed “ meet me in your room in 2 min”

He looked the message and looked at her as he tried to distance a littlefrom her. (well he wanted her to be irritated ) and raima just pulled him more strongly linking both her hands to his arms and he was alert this time.

Sonakshi typed “ rohitttttt…“ and excused herself and he also pushed raima ( he has to use a little force as she was not ready ) and quickly walk toward the stairs to his room.

In the hallway she walked in front of him and he walked a lil behind her. She reached at the door of his room and waited. He entered and took two steps ahead and glanced at her in his signature look acting as if he has no idea what’s happening.

She closed the door and pulled him close and leaned on the door. Just as he started to say something she captured his lips.

Yes.. that’s the way to confirm he belongs to her. As the passionate kiss got over they both stared into each other’s eyes.

“don’t let her come close”

She was jealous, she brought him here , kissed him at least initiated it but still she won’t request she will order.

As she tried to get out of the room he trapped her with his body.

“it was not enough” only thing he said and again sealed his lips with her . she tried to stop him but he didn’t stop he kept on showering kisses on her neck earlobe, nuzzled visible area of chest as he wrapped his one hand around her waist and other hand pinned her both hands above her. Just after 30secs she wanted her hands to be free so that she can clutch them to feel him more. When freed her hand she was equally involved.

He made her sit on the dressing table and quickly adjusted himself. As they started she dragged his tie and cursed him a little for being so much into her.

When they are done she got down and stood in front of the mirror as always he was behind her. Her gown straps were half way down her arms, hair was a mess, the gold chain with locket now was hanging on to her gown trying to survive.

“we can’t go down anymore” she tried to fake anger.

“that’s okay” he hugged from behind.

They lay down on the bed . he was in a half sleeping position and she slept hugging him. It was a habit now to sleep peacefully after love making.

Intimacy brings good understanding and makes two people open up to each other and that’s what happened with them from last 7 months . With each meet after their first love making they started becoming more comfortable.

When he opened his eyes it was 12.10 a.m. he watched her as she stirred in her sleep. He whispered in her ears “one more time… ??”

Well they didn’t have protection so sona was reluctant. When he kept poking she irritatingly said in a flow “ it’s fun for you but the consequences are for me. So you don’t care”

He went silent with a questioning look. “there are other ways you know.Like pills”

“I don’t want to do that” this time he knew she is firm from the beginning .

He didn’t drag it. This is not the first time, it has happened once before.

When they were on their way to her home in car he asked “sona …!! Have you ever faced unexpected pregnancy ?”

Well being a surgeon and having medical knowledge he knew she has facedat some point of time most certainly otherwise her earlier reaction doesn’t fit. Even on their first intimacy in his bedroom she didn’t complain.

She kept her face towards the window and replied “initially .. you know before 6 years “

He asked without stopping “what did you do “

She replied “aborted”

He knew she is lying.. it’s just that he has observed her way too much n last 7 months and had the exact idea when she is lying.

“was it after our first ?” he asked still being un-bothered with her answer

“no” she said but her voice was shaky

“so ?” he said

“I don’t want to talk about it” she didn’t face him at all while answering

He stopped the car on a side .

“look at me and say it” he ordered.

He forcefully grabbed her to make her face him.

Her eyes were full of tears.

They didn’t need to continue the question.

He directly asked “why I was not told ?”

“you didn’t ask ??” she replied as if this is how it works

“what exactly did you do ?” he questioned

“I told you” she said a little loud emphasizing on the word told

“in detail” he said without being bothered

He knew she was lying . she tried to give some fake general details and he replied “who was the doctor “

She lost it and told the truth “ I had a miscarriage.. happy ??”

“got your answer ??” she repeated

“did you had a check-up after that regarding the issue ?” he asked

“what do you want to ask.. if it was a false call or what?” she was baffled at his nonstop Q/A session.

He was more concerned about her. He knew it’s necessary to have a clear idea what has transpired.

“in Singapore one of my cousin is a doctor .. I went there” she replied

“so it was not for your shooting schedule” he was disappointed to core

The conversation got worse with each word from both side. From no angle he was ready to be convinced that it was just a past issue. She didn’t tell on her own he has to get it out.

“I don’t understand you had gone through something alone and didn’t feel even to let me know. Not for one month or two for the whole 7 month. I didn’task it was a mistake but it feels like I’m not even worth to be informed.”

He let his side clear

“I am not affected by that. My cousin said it’s normal and now for me it’s totally irrelevant” she said.

She didn’t say anything and all through out way to home she was silent. Got out of the car and walked with a confidence to keep intact the fact that it’snot a big deal and she is strong enough.

Once she was in her room her tears started and she wept trying not to make sound.

He knew her way better than anyone. He figured it out even without any hint. When after 15 days she came to know she was pregnant she was dead scared.She planned to let him know and convince him for abortion. Her career is at peak and right now no way she can settle. She wanted to make it clear that even if he feel like she should continue this pregnancy she won’t agree. Buttt just after 3 days it ended. Of course she cried, felt guilty but something that has no meaning she didn’t want to drag but the fear was always there. That made her extra careful each time. Resisting him was not possible as she was attracted to him and yesss LOVED him.

He always thought she went for shoot to Singapore even though he couldn’t find any special episode of her show. He didn’t want her to know he watched her serial sometime just to see her. He thought she needed some time.

Yes every revelation comes with separation. She tried to initiate conversation but he didn’t reply/answer.

The missing was real. Nothing was same. The 7 months had an effect on each of them.

At times he waited outside her location to pick her up after late nights because he didn’t trust her driving. Called her after almost every 3 hours just to check on her. She considered herself strong but he decoded her as messy/clumsy and tried to protect her. He cheered her up by exploiting her with his cooking?Pampering. She was worried if he would again do some blunder at work due to this matter. It’s first some guy really made her feel she is special and bonus was she was attracted to him equally and IT WAS NOT COMPROMISE. Sometimes after once crying scene is over she sat down on bare floor and started crying for real. The whole set was confused this is Parvati or Sonakshi.

He sat in the stairs of his hospital alone thinking why. Last time he saw sonakshi’s show and her hubby in show made mountain of a molehill and he criticized him for dragging some old issue. At this moment he felt that’s what happens. He is just not able to digest the truth even though it shouldn’t matter now. But it MATTERED. He wanted something satisfying , not from her but from himself to defend. He was concerned how she is doing. Even though he won’t call/message he will still think about her. He was always scared about her driving after that small accident. He knew she get tired and wants someone to practice her dialogues (difficult ones). He knew she is craving to hear from him and the guilt is there. She always tried to show she is experienced in physical relationships but from the very first he knew she is not. He let her think that he believed because it made her happy.

They had no idea how to wrap this chapter that was no longer a part of the upcoming future.

My fav part was reading about jealous Sona. I love how Rohit and Sona are so honest and raw about their feelings. Though Sonakshi shouldn't have hidden about her pregnancy, I know a lot of girls today don't tell their bfs in such cases, maybe because they don't want the baby at that time or mostly because they are scared of their partner's reaction. Let's see how Sona and Rohit move on from this.

Part-5 - Cigarette, Hugs and fake Diamond

It was 7 p.m. everyone gathered at rastogi’s.. sona came down and pretended that she knew why rohit was late. Not once did their eyes met because they were trying their level best not to have an eye contact. Dinner was a silent affair. A month has passed and as usual this time none of them tried. The time has been able to stabilize there reactions though. After dinner his mom started “ I think it’s time you people think about marriage” her mom joined “I think last month rohit told you both are ready to take the next step.“ slowly everyone joined to present their thesis why they should think about marriage.

He squirmed a bit when his father said the reason they met first was for marriage so they had enough time and rohit tried to glance towards her. She has a poker face. No reaction at all. Ina normal situation sona would have reacted fiercely. Would have given him aglare with an text “you will not go alive from here unless you fix this.”

His aunt nishi meddled “sona since we are here I would want you to actually drop your career and join the family. It’s not really very ..you know …a career that sippy family member should pursue.” His mom nodded and ask her to think. If nothing else this did shock Sonakshi and she without wasting a second looked to her side towards rohit. Her eyes questioned “this is it…. You’ve nothing to add… why they let us meet in the first place”

He gathered himself and replied “we both will discuss and let you guys know and no one here is allowed to take any decision regarding any of our career. I repeat no one “ (this is the best he could do to defend sona and let her know he is still not over the issues)

They did escape the numerous questions but the doubt was already planted in their families. something was off they all knew. He didn’t try to get some alone time with her. She didn’t make sure if mushroom is there or not since rohit didn’t like non-veg and paneer. They didn’t even helped each other in dining table. Sonakshi was aloof.

Few days after he finished a surgery and just to take a break went to the terrace. It was almost evening. When he went there there was a lady standing in a patient cloth and looking at the setting sun.

As a doctor he knew what he has to do. From her figure he figured it out she is either pregnant or already delivered. He went casually stood close to the boundary wall of terrace. “may I help” he tried to sound as normal as possible“yes” she gave him a smile , a very normal one.

He chatted a while and realized she is in room 303(vip room) and delivered a baby girl this Saturday morning.

“congratulations” he said and she only nodded.

“how are you feeling “ he said.. she didn’t respond only kept looking towards the horizon.

“It’s very natural to feel a little nervous or dejected. We call it postpartum. You know you just need to keep calm. I swear it’s just a perception… “

She started weeping. He responded instantly “ heyyyyy…” he was compassionate and that reflected in his voice..

“I had an unavoidable pregnancy and for that I got married and here I’m.. 7 months after with a baby just at 27. Had to give up my job also because I needed complete rest for all 9 months. “

He said “so…”

“everyone thinks I’m the happiest that I got married to the person I wanted. After all complication also baby is okay. “ she continued as she wept suppressing her emotions.

“What did you wanted ?” he asked looking at her .

“I worked hard during my graduation and post-graduation. Worked diligently in tcs as hr for last 3 years. I figured the whole career and life graph but this one thing stopped me. No one really cared about my dreams when I wanted leave due to health issues. Specially my in-laws”

“you can always go back neha” he tried to assure her.

“they won’t let me. I’m like this setting sun. who has now no individuality or dreams. I wish I would have been able to get out of this” she cried openly

He asked hesitatingly” did you inform your husband immediately” and anticipated for her answer.

She moved her head as an answer no .” only when I came to know that it’snot possible to abort for some issues” she replied

He cheered her up and asked her to go against everyone even if she needs and resume her work from where it paused. He even suggest her some baby names.Made sure she goes down and informed at the reception to keep an eye on her as Patients are not allowed to come to terrace.

He attended the meeting and finished with his shift around 10. As he drove back to his temporary flat he kept thinking. The answers you try to find always comes back to you indirectly and he was smart enough to catch it.Obviously she was scared that everything will be blocked for her. It all made sense now that he had seen a real example.

If nothing else this time he was ready to at least have a talk and solve whatever they had.

He messaged her. Not once or twice but 43 times in one week. there was no response.

Not even one message was seen.

She went to shoot at London for special episodes. She came back and in the next meeting asked her producer/ channel to give her one or two week off as now they’ve enough content in advance. She was asked to shoot some of her part individually which will be adjusted with body double.

She didn’t open a single message and only replied “thank you for all those time. I think we need to move on. Lets find a way to inform to our families individually.”

He hated it. It’s like suddenly before he could get to understand her she dropped him from her life.

She had shoot for one more week and the she planned a solo trip for herself. She wanted a quite place. Her sister helper her. She decide bali as her sis herself went there for a work shop as she worked in a MNC. The booking and everything was done by her sis.

She went to bali on Thursday. A small guest house (inn) was booked where the 1st floor was for her. She reached from airport. She wore jeans shorts, a floral printed loose top which was sleeveless ( only straps) and a hat of yellow color. It was close to beach .. in fact the balcony faced toward the sea and there was no blocking. She got her luggage and she had to take the stairs but when she entered she saw a person coming out from ground floor room and he was smoking. It was rohit.

He was actually stopped in his tracks looking at her. She was surprised seeing him and also smoking. He knew she will be here but her dressing was unusual. He had never seen her in such a get up. When they both realised and grasped the truth she started going up as her luggage was already taken by the caretaker. He threw the cigarrate and stomped it with feet before actually running after her. All his planning of acting and explaining was now just royally got butchered by himself.

“nice to see your good habits” she said as a taunt

“I do it only under pressure” he said

As the caretaker explained her about room and she nodded asked questions. He tried his best to interfere and get some attention

She suddenly asked the care taker “is the ground floor tenant is allowed to disturb me ?” answer was no of course

He hated that she wore such revealing clothes and that too he only saw the first time. he was dragged down. She checked her messages where her sis has messaged her a long sob story which had the sorry word for 10 times. She knew why the devil was helping her.

1st day, 2nd day were wasted. Because she never came down and he passed all his times trying to figure out what she is doing .3rd day he has no patience . he directly went up. She was reading a book on balcony leaning on a chair.

“do you think it’s a joke. I am locked here . you won’t talk or say anything..i’m frustrated sona..kshi” he rambled

She looked up when he said Sonakshi but then again ignored.

He came down and just sat on the chair thinking if this whole thing will work out or not.

Around 4.30 she actually came down and walked out of the house. He followed being hopeful thinking he will get to talk. But she was still in sulking mode. All she did was walk and he followed in a few distance. She took out her sandal and hold it in hand letting the waves wet her feet. He did the same. When finally the sun was setting he was impatient but had no courage or strength .

He stopped and sat down folding his legs and facing the orange sky. She kept walking but could feel that he was not walking behind her. A strange fear crept inside her. Did he go back ? this is it ? she slowly turned to see and saw him sitting at a few distance … not too far but not too close. She walked back and sat adjacently just at a small distance. Looked at the same direction where he was looking. Very few people were on the beach. It appeared as if two people exhausted with life were trying to make things work. Couldn’t walk hand in hand but can’t separate ways also.

He initiated “I feel like it’s always me who was a little crazy and kind of dragged you into a relationship. At the end I have to convince you that I do love you.

I will never know how I managed to drag myself from Kanyakumari scrapping my vacation just to see you. I will never understand why every time you asked something I couldn’t deny. Guess I was just being selfish and trying to keep you all for myself.”

Not once he looked at her. It was getting dark.

She replied “ it’s not just you. Your aunt has taunted me few times about how we are not a match but I didn’t really tell because you might feel hurt. Every time you went into hiding after a surgery I wished and waited if in case you’ll need me. “

“Well.. nothing is really working this time. It really took some time to understand your position and when I finally did you are not ready to …“ he sighed

She stood up and began to leave and he suddenly stood up and called out her name .. she turned back he stood there with an anxious helpless face.

“if you do love me give me a hug !! please no… I need it.” He shouted so that she will hear it.

“same thing I wanted few months back.. you will just appear suddenly and give me a hug” she said in a shaky voice

His face dropped.. he knew she isn’t going to make it easy for him.

She came back to the inn and secretly wished he would just come back and continue the whole fight/ conversation so they would actually reach to a point.

10 min.. 20 min … 30 min … 3 hours he didn’t come back.. by that time she was worried.. she tried his phone but it was off. She came out and waited. Just looking curiously to anyone who is passing by… she panicked if he was in some trouble or what… the whole night passed… she woke up at 10 a.m.(she slept around 5) in the morning and ran to check if he is back.Now she went up called the care-taker and her whole body was trembling.suddenly while coming out of the room she saw him walking .

Without thinking twice she ran down the stairs and then on road towards him and she didn’t even realize that she was crying. He saw her and fastened his pace of walking she hugged him and he embraced her tightly. She was trembling and looked like a total mess.

As she tightly dipped her face onto his nape she asked “are you okay ?”

He hugged her more tightly and explained sweetly how near the beach a 52 year aged man had an heart issue and he had to help him and accompanied his scared family to hospital which was a little far for better facilities and then it was too late so he just waited for the morning. He just came back.

“what about phone ??” she asked without parting

“there was no iphone charger??” he answered

As she pulled from the hug he looked at her and suddenly went on his knees .. she looked at him curiously . he said “ I was never so sure about anyone in my life as much as I’m now. I would like to spent the rest of my life with you being your soulmate. Will you agree to be my soulmate .. partner for life time ?

Sonakshi rastogi if you ever decide to settle down will you marry me ?”

Her tears flowed flawlessly. He took out a simple ring which looked like a diamond ring. Suddenly the small crowd with only foreigners and local people started cheering “say yes” “so cuteee”

They stood in a small street that was the road to their guest house and also beach. It was almost 10.30 and their whole interaction had attracted a small crowd. They were so invested they didn’t even notice till now.

She actually nodded and offered her left hand ring finger not before saying "don't ever call me sonakshi ". he understood she liked when he called sona. He slid the ring swiftly and got up and hugged her. lifted her up and kissed her face side wise. She had nothing to complain because girls were gushing around them. Crowd cheered loudly.

“is this ring means that we had to get married tomorrow ?” she asked

“no…whenever we feel like “ he said as a matter of fact

“is this ring real ?” she again asked

“no” he smiled at her apologetically

She looked at him in anger as if right now she will kill him. “but you will get the real one exactly like this when I actually propose .. you know proper. This is just …when I saw the ring I wished to give it to you so I bought it and did propose impulsively.”

“Then what does this mean.. I said yes ?” she asked confused and a little disappointed.

“it means whenever you get married it has to be me “ he laughed and she gave him her famous deadly glare.. he started teasing her she looks like Parvati and the banter continued.

They finally had a normal day and slept peacefully until 4.50 p.m. of course after making love 😉

and they lived Happily ever after.........

When she got back she had 42 messages in personal no. 21 missed callsfrom her producer ex. He had 63 in his only no. they both looked at each other in shock.

Well she had no idea that her previous show was currently running in Indonesia as a dubbed show. Someone did recognize her and filmed the whole propose part and now it had gone viral in internet. the person was really happy as he got 5 million +views and 10000+ likes :D

“should I just say that this is not me ?” she asked him as she panicked

“if you are planning a future with me at this moment how will youjustify my presence in the video.. “ he was a bit mad. He didn’t like the whole hiding part ever.

He went up and started making coffee. As he mixed the warm water fromthe electric kettle with coffee his phone got a notification “SonakshiR tagged you in a picture” from insta

He clicked on it and it showed a pic of her ring in her hand with a caption “officially engaged” with a heart sign and he was tagged.

He turned and looked at her as she sat on the bed smiling . “well I want a real ring exactly like this and also a proper surprise propose… I’m not going to quit my profession at all” she demanded trying to be dominating and a bit cool !!

He laughed and nodded his face assuring her that everything will be okay as he is with her.

In the world the lived

Some commented “she is so lucky” few called her a opportunist. Her fans made the ship name #ronakshi being happy for sonakshi.

Her ex sat in the meeting where the channel program head pondered how come she is the only one who always creates difficult situations. Now they can’t even blame her directly as her would be Fathe-in-law is a good friend of the CEO of the channel.

Pooja replied to sona ‘s sister “thank god ..our plan worked “. Their families started preparing for an official ring ceremony and introduction of sona to everyone(poor souls they just decided not to rush anything).his colleague Mayank cursed a lil “I’m here working my ass off for him and dude is having fun with his sweetheart”

Regardless all this chaos they sipped their coffee planning how to spend the next four days and what they can do. They have no idea how much mess was waiting for them once they are back. 😅
