Part-3 - Clean Shave and High Neck

The day he told her he will go on a vacation to south and trying to find a partner half of her energy died. She kept on looking at her phone to see if any message or anything she received regarding it but no. Normal conversation he tried to initiate but she won't proceed. Left it with just yes or okay or ya. Her total attention was there.

On Monday 30th dec she was in traffic and suddenly wanted to check her private insta. He has updated a boomerang of a scenery of evening/sunset along with few more with his friends. She didn't know who are they and as she kept on scrolling someone hit her car from back with a force In that process her head was hurt. Also her leg was twisted in the process. Senseless sonakshi was taken to hospital.

He started travelling 30th dec evening and reached by morning in mumbai. He directly went to hospital she was in. He knew she was a vip patient so he called his friend ankit and asked to let him see sona.

“is she okay“ he asked as they entered into lift.

“well.. You can see her but no information leak” ankit wanted assurance

“of course... I perfectly know how important it is” rohit said in his serious voice. He tried to be calm because he was told now she is okay and will be fine for sure.

Ankit was surprised even though he believed his whole friend theory but the restlessness, eagerness to see know did not really convince him that he I dropped here casually.

Rohit forgot that even ankit was his friend in Instagram and knew he was not in Mumbai. He has gome ahead and told him just dropped to see her.

Ankit gestured him to go ahead to room no. 309 and rohit hesitated as he hasn't cleaned up his hand and clothes (suddenly remembered)

Ankit sighed and said “just peek there and make sure not to make noise“

He peeked from outside and bammmmm

Madam sonakshi was eating an apple while watching something on tv. He looked at his friend with his mouth open and got signal to go ahead.

He went inside and could only stare at her relaxing … what he felt during the last 10 hours was just not explainable.

She saw him and stared with big surprising eye and said “rohit…”

It felt good to hear his name from her as if it finally gave him a proof that she is fine..

He went inside thinking to confront about such hype but in front of her he could only ask “ are you okay ?”

“what about your vacation??” she blurted out of curiosity..

“something came up.. so I came back” he said ..

“another surgery???.. seriously you came back from your trip with in three days ?“ she asked as if he was joking or serious.

“something …” (you scared the hell out of me ) he had no energy to explain.

She explained how her producer ex and channel wanted her to portray as critical because ppl might take this as negative and might affect their show.

“are you serious.. you were scrolling your phone in a traffic ?” he was angry

She thought to herself And the reason is youuuu..

She got a good scolding from him and surprisingly she listened to him.

She got the list from him about who all went with him and got the names.

“who was your partner ??” she asked trying to be super normal “rachit”he said casually.

Sona : “a guy”

Rohit : “yes… what’s it”

Sona: “nothing “

Rohit: “what did you thought ?”

Sona : “partner means someone equal to date/gf kind….??”

He was baffled… “even if it was a girl I meant only friend type…. What do you keep thinking ?”

Still she wanted to be the one in power “ then.. it’s okay.. technically we are dating so you are not allowed to do anything”

“applies to you also” he said smilingly

When he came back to his room he knew he has fallen for her..

It was 31st December. Nisha was the happiest because she could understand it’s not easy to take two person’s responsibility for longtime.

He got a message from her “kya plan hai new year ka?”

He called her and asked what’s the matter. “I’m craving for pasta?” she said. “Then order.. ask someone” he said. “they are not ready to bring it from the restaurant in malad and it’s not listed for delivery ” she said with a sad tone.

“who will travel from vaashi to malad for pasta” he said as a matter of fact.

“fine.. I’ll see “ she said and cut the call only to find him visiting her at 7 p.m.

He asked if she wants to go for dinner out and she was more than happy.She dressed in her ninja style and they went out. They sat in terrace and in a corner so no one will recognize. He smiled how she picked zucchinis from her plate and gave it to him. It did felt good to have her exclusive to him.

While coming back she kind of looked outside and sighed. He asked her in a gesture of what happened. “you had pasta .. right ??” he questioned. “I don’t want to go back to hospital” she said with a puppy face. “are you sure?”he asked . “but I’ve nowhere else to go.Mom will be home only because of me. Media will be there also. I can’t reveal also that I’m fine now.”

“I’ve a place.” He suggested. “no party” he didn’t say anything. They reached in front of a huge apartment. He asked her to put her glasses and scarf. She did. They got into lift and he punched 13th floor.

“It’s your flat ??” she asked . “one of my junior’s. he is doing his masters in us so he need someone tobe here. I sent the rent to his parents account. It’s near to hospital also.”He explained

There was bed and to the right of bed a balcony that is separated by the glass doors. The sight outside looked beautiful with all the city lights and fireworks . it was only 10.30 pm. They sat and watched television and chatted. He got wine in two glasses. They went to the balcony and did the count down for new year . clanked their wine glasses to celebrate the new year.

A huge smile was on their face may be this is the best any of them could have expected.

Next day he woke up at 4.30 and found her sleeping in bed and himself on the couch. Early morning he dropped her off at hospital. She resumed her shoot from 3rd January.

Things went smoothly and even if they didn’t met very often still managed to keep the contact.

All of a sudden he didn’t respond to her message. She waited for long even gave a call. She couldn’t wait and called pooja. “rohit is home ?” she asked. “no. he is actually upset last night a severe case was there and they couldn’t save the person. When ever this happens he goes into hibernation for a short time.” Pooja replied

“where is he .. in hospital” sona asked

“probably at his flat ,somewhere near the hospital. Tonight or tomorrow he will go back.”

She had shoot till 8 and after that she drove to his building . she pressed the bell and rohit opened. she saw him and hugged by encircling her hands around his neck. Without saying anything he just hugged her tightly.

“you shouldn’t blame yourself” she said

He suddenly pulled and questioned how she got to know and reacted “I don’t like these things to be shared” obviously he didn’t like it . being in the profession only he knew how the things were complicated. She came back just muttering a sorry.

5 days gone and no response from both side.

6th day he called around 6.30 in evening . she picked up.There was a chaotic bg noise from her side

“where are you ?”

“police station”

“why”

“some guy tried to throw water and tried to misbehave”

She wanted him to feel bad , a bit worried.

He got the address of police station and rushed .

The moment he saw her he asked “did you file a case ?”

She was surprised because of course she didn’t expect him to come immediately.

“did you file a case ??” he was concerned. “no.. we had talked it out..it was a prank “ she replied

“are you mad ..this is not a joke” he was agitated. “why are you overreacting ?”she asked

Her pd/ex bf came out. That was the worst he could imagine .

“Sonakshi.. I want to you to take this seriously… safety is much more important” he said.

They argued about this and she tried to justify her decision because she is the only one who has so many issues and channel doesn’t think it’s a positive thing

“You don’t let me enter into your matter .. so don’t expect me to ” she kind of said it in a flow.

“I should have known that … won’t bother you further” he said and left.

Ideal situation is to forget and move on but it’s easier said than done. She knew she was wrong and he knew that he needed to be patient with her.

So…. 7 days were passed .. no one flinched

His situation was worse. He was not able to concentrate and that’s the most important aspect of being a surgeon. He took 3 days off and came back to his parents home. The whole time his room was dark and no one understood what’s going on. Suddenly he was grumpy even the maid got scolded for entering his room.

At 3 in afternoon he fixed food for himself and looked unhappy and upset.

Kept sleeping in his dark room under the quilt thinking how come he was never a priority to her.

On 3rd day she got a call from pooja to inquiry about if she has any idea what happened. Sona used this one to meet rohit to find out.(she was dying to have a talk about everything )

5.30 -Sunday- 26 jan

She reached his house and pooja took her to rohit’s room and muttered a best of luck.

She entered into the dark (thanks to him for keeping it open.) Suddenly she heard “get out “ it was rohit. She called “rohit “ he hit the bed lamp and looked at her. Again went inside his quilt not to look at her.

“what is this mess.. what are you doing “ she was surprised to see his messy state.

“you care.. really?” he answered

“Can you come out and just be normal. I have to say something” she requested.

He didn’t budge.

She took off her sandal and climbed the bed and removed the quilt from his face. Their face was close. Their eyes met and a sudden weakness in both their heart for the other one.

With in a second he pinned her down . he was above her . she wore a tops and jeans . he was in his shorts and tee. He stared into her eyes intensely.

She muttered a sorry. He knew that resisting her is not easy

“get out before something happens .. you have time and opportunity.” He said as a matter of fact.

“you want me to go away “ she asked

“ no” he didn’t hesitate

“then say it .. I’m helpless if you say nothing “ she said as her eyes started filling

Do they need to say anything more.. no [ ;)]

He closed the gap and captured her lips while both his hands pinned hers on respective side. All the pent up desires started coming out once they start.He quickly shifted to her neck , ear lobe and in that process took her top off.

While he was busy nibbling her neck she said in whisper “close the door”

He responded “no one is coming “

That’s it.. he again and again went back to her lips to savour even when she was not able to match his pace . all she can do is clutch into his hair and try to suppress her moan as his beard moved on her body making her shiver.

He pulled her jeans and his shorts. Her eyes were closed whole time.When he finally entered into her she actually started hitting him feebly and cried but soon it turned into something pleasure.

They slept… well only Sonakshi..

After 1 hour someone actually woke her up and she opened her eyes where he kind of indicated he wanted once more. She was too sleepy and just went ahead. Finally he let her sleep.

He got up , wore his clothes and gathered hers . called the made to make something for snacks.

When she opened her eyes he sat in the chair and was staring at her .she couldn’t meet his eyes but he looked happy. Her whole body was sore and achy.

She blurted “why you haven’t shaved ?”

“to torture you” he had that cute smile on his face while saying which she missed.

She got up and searched her clothes and she had to struggle to get her clothes.in between he kissed on her lips and that distracted her. She wore her clothes and checked herself in mirror. The visible area of her chest one part was totally red due to his beard.

He hugged her from behind and she knew it didn’t matter.

She asked as he adored them in mirror locking his hands around her waist. “who am I”

“ Sonakshi Rastogi , surgeon Rohit sippy’s love interest or you can say current gf “ he looked at her through mirror.. kind of seeking a permission if that’s okay for her . she lowered her gaze shyly approving.

They discussed about the misunderstandings and what they need to do for their relationship. How should they plan their meetings over the snacks. she checked his room , he had a lot of books from college days.

When she came down the glow in their faces was undeniable. He took her keys to get her car out as she greeted his family for goodbye.

He came back and said pressure in her car seemed low. Without asking said he will get someone to do it and for now he would drop her.

To his family (mom, sis, bro , sis-in-law) it looked like they are a couple from years. His care and her response fit into couple concept perfectly.

At night she wore a high neck top at home and In 3 days for the first time he came to join everyone in dinning for dinner with his fresh CLEAN SHAVE(at 9.30 p.m.without any reason ) .

It would surprise their family because they have no idea what happened between sona and rohit. 😉

Note: Thank you for the positive response and sorry for the late update. ( i was busy with my last sem classes, assignments and preparation of farewell. 😛 )this is the last part but if possible then i would add an epilogue further.

I was waiting for you to update and the part was totally worth all the wait. I loved their confession and their moments in Rohit's room.

Honestly I would love it if you could continue this story for a few more parts. Ronakshi here are so different yet so similar from the one in the show. And the confession just took place so I would love to read a bit more about their courtship period ,since we didn't get to witness that in the show. But I understand if you want to wrap the story. I absolutely loved reading this TS and thank you for sharing it with us. Please post an epilogue.
