Alsoo to add, any actor can make a transition, this has happened with even the likes of deepika Priyanka etc. where they started doing certain roles but have totally changed perceptions by doing som thing new later in their career. If she gets an opportunity, I don’t see why she can’t up her game. It really depends on how hungry she is for it and if she is getting opportunity. Age is slowly becoming irrevelant anyway.

I think sonakshi's laid back attitude towards her career which might be another reason.

I don't see any endorsements of her much these days
