Kriti's character doesn't have sympathies, sorrows of life, melodramatic dialogues associated to support her act. Most people sympathize with Kashibai because Mastani is considered homewrecker*.
It is just effective writing and honest acting by kriti that stood out. PC was amazing too but I like Kriti more because I didn't expect her to be this good.Even Kristi's accent was spot-on.
