Maya is not a superwoman. it is hard to overcome PTSD so in that regard, it is realistic. because PTSD is a very real psychological disorder. for 10 years she planned, but she did not stand face to face with MJ like now. how can you. it is very, very difficult get rid of your fear when you never directly faced it. Maybe it would have been possible if she was on medications or seeing a psychiatrist, but she did not. While it is difficult to watch, it is necessary for her rise in front him. Great strength can only come from great weakness.
Well, if that's the case. Maya should've treated herself and her psychological disorder instead of desiring vengeance because she can't even face her past, even with all the overconfident big talks and plotting, she is still trembling in fear. You don't have to be superwoman to do anything, but since you have planned this for ten years, at least have your head on your shoulder if you're going to take revenge on a man you clearly know who is dangerous.
That is what makes it unrealistic for me,imo. Not her fear but the way she is handling this. The precap is something that irritated me big time.
