Many ppl might not agree with me here but Beyhadh as a show be it S1 or S2 is a joke in the name of a thriller. I’ve seen plenty of revenge/thriller shows or movies and they have a better plot and execution. The characters were complex and if there was any romance, it never hindered the main storyline.

even I don’t understand how a person who was supposedly planning revenge for a long time turns into a weak lamb in front of the man who wronged her. If Maya is suffering from PTSD, she should have gotten herself treated. She had 10 years!!!!

S1 Maya was in early 20s so comparatively she younger, that too she was tortured by her own dad(who supposed to be every daughter's guardian angel) so her fear justified but S2-Maya is mature , her life was ruined by a monster ,she has to be stronger than ever as she planned a decade to take revenge that person but she behave so lame,if all characters is dark then Maya should have be darkest of all, when she &rudra got married I thought show will be another level but unfortunately CVs disappointing jenny fan ( I mean pure S1 Maya fans who atticted to her attitude, walking style , beautiful wardrobe, hairstyles above all crispy dialogue 🥰etc)

Sorry I never interested with rudra &Maya love track so NO comments

anyway will watch the show as long as Jenny is there

Maya Jaisingh didn't made a mark on me yet.

I understand fear but she is still traumatized and let MJ walk all over her. If she was traumatized, how the hell she functioned in normal life in these 10 years. She should need to see psychiatrist instead of thinking of revenge. How come she become a great writer and a financier.

What exactly she did in 10 years when she knows one she have to face MJ one day. A PTSD person's trauma just doesn't go away in few seconds. She is bold in front of sudhir, antara, and divya, but cant even move a finger in front of MJ. That is so unrealistic.

Infact, many things in BH2 is full of loopholes.

You have not been watching BH2 carefully...she never planned to meet MJ face to face. She wanted to destroy the Roy Clan from behind the enemy lines. Her entire plan was to fake love with his two sons and kill them but falling in love with Rudra has changed her course of revenge and she had to step into the house and face MJ. It is good that Maya is not shown as a superwoman like Maya Mehrotra. Sudhir, Antara, Diya et al didn't CAUSE her trauma as much as MJ who conned her in love, betrayed her, destroyed half of her family. This season is 100x better written than season 1 where the writers were just winging it.

Even if she is playing from behind, one day or the other she has to come in front of MJ. Initially, the kind of premise they set for BH2- from that aspect- Maya supposed to be cold, calculative, and intelligent character who understands MJ and his inner world and attack his weakness. Basically it is suppose to be a game of chess. But most of the things are spontaneous then what exactly she planned or rather say cvs planned. When you are planning for "10 years", it must be something big. Are 5 saal me to sarkar bhi change ho jaati hai.

My issue is not her fear but her extreme trauma. As if cvs have changed the direction of this show. They themselves contradicting against what they have promised. A traumatic person can't plan such a big event with precision. If someone is suffering from PTSD or trauma, he/she reliving that event again and again and not even come out of the house let alone planning and plotting. Her main priority should be getting it treated by psychiatrist. If cvs set the theme of the show with Maya a PTSD patient and then it all would be okay. But here they are selling it a revenge plot.

If MJ attacked her and she get sacred but still hold on her ground, trying to cope gradually and collect her strength- that would be justifiable reaction. Here, she just freezes and can't even move. That's not how revenge shows work. In S1, they have given many hints that Maya has some mental issue and abused by her father so that fear is justifiable yet i never find Maya of S1 just freezes completely. She even retaliated before ashwin . But in S2, they always shown her an sane person still she is not able to do anything.

The only good thing of this season is actors who are doing fab job. I can go on and on about the loopholes in the script and how Bh2 is a big let down in the name of a thriller and revenge show but right now I am in office so need to get back to work😉
