Hahahahahahaha: New nicknames for Gen 4 lead couple.
I had mentioned the same in my post yesterday. Rudra has full capacity to be Krishna because this Krishna is the one who directed a new path for the Arjun - Maya, who diverted the course of her revenge, who brought her to the Kurukshetra, who will now have to fight these pack of wolves under his watchful eye, who is so much in love with him, that for him she is ready to face her fears. Just like Arjun was devoted to Krishna that he followed his every guidance in the war. Maya's Krishna has come out of the idol and taken a human personification in Rudra. Roles have reversed. First Maya was Krishna to Rudra. Now Rudra is the Krishna to Maya. Maya first helped liberate Rudra from his fears and insecurities. And now its Rudra's turn to do the same.
Rudra is the Krishna in the sense of his love for Maya because Krishna's love is one of the models of ideal love, love which is not in having but giving. Where he always loved Radha, but he was married to Rukmini. But is Rudra the guru Krishna as well? Just listen to his choice of words, "Mera Pyaar mere Bhai ko maar nahi sakta." Which is true. Because his love and his wife did not kill his brother. Maya Jaisingh, the vengeful angel of death did this, whom he calmed. Another meaning also stands at that "my love for my brother cannot let him die". It is open to so many interpretations. These words hidden in words is something Krishna was adept at, so I really want to know, if he is that Krishna. There is much more to the words Rudra says, like Krishna gol gol jalebi banate the apni baaton ka, Rudra is just that. But what is Rudra's agenda? What is he aware of and isn't? Is Maya's fear about Rishi's death at her hands justified, or is there more to it? Maybe.
Shruthi...you have nailed Rudra’s character graph & portrayal. I was a little confused after last night & then I viewed the episode again . I seem to be doing that these days cause Rudra has turned into the biggest enigma just like Krishna...elusive, confuses us in his words, says so much without really saying anything. And yet the honesty & love shines through in those eyes.
I do feel that he knows a lot...he does not question the repeated use of Manvi instead of Maya by his family. Rudra turning into this mystery has made the show so much more riveting cause like in case of Krishna you cannot figure out what he is really up to. And like you & @libran said he has brought out Maya from the shadows to fight this battle out in the open like a righteous battle should be fought. He knows so much more than everyone else gives him credit for & is laying out the field for open battle so all the skeletons will tumble out of the closet of this nefarious family & then justice will be served. Krishna’s love was unconditionally for anyone who loved him truly as does Maya. And that is the love Rudra is showing for Maya😍!
Amazing post Shruti👏 Loved the parallels
He is definitely giving Krishna vibes now.. how calm and composed he was with the entire clan yest standing in front.. the way he told his dad not to spoil their relationship or he wont return this time in a very composed way.. that's how Krishna is..
And yes maya always had her Krishna Idol at home whom she shared her pain and he showed her the directions.. now that place has been taken by Rudra literally.. with his yellow room being so symbolic..
In the first part she was the Krishna who gave out gita verses to help him fight.. but now Rudra will teach her the real meaning of bhagawatgita and it's not about hate and revenge but it's about justice and love..
Great analysis. I really liked this perspective of Rudra's character.😊
