Seriously Ananya is better than Alia ? I don't like Alia , in fact, don't like any of the nepo kids, that being said, Alia is way better than Ananya, at least her eyes are lively and onscreen she is endearing.

Alia's appeal has nothing to do with Ananya or any other star kid/newcomer. She lost her own charm by excessive weight loss, dieting and the fact that the audience understood her tactic i e getting KJo to give her all the good films so that she could be called as the next numero uno actress.

Alia's main USP was her cutesy face. Our generation grew up with Miley, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Demi Lovato...when Disney India became crap, the closest we had to a cute teen girl whom we could relate to was Alia. Thus the main target demographic i.e the millennials loved her. We lapped up her heavily autotuned songs as well.

But like they say the audience can't be fooled for long... everyone saw thru the strategy within a few years.

The nail in the coffin was Kalank...everyone saw thru the strategy where Alia was trying to pull off a Deepika (become an all rounder) but one has to agree that Alia doesn't have the regal charm as Deepika. Dating Ranbir wasn't helping either.

Ananya cannot be or do what Alia did in 2012. She doesn't have the looks, the charm that Alia had or the talent as well. She is just a well backed star kid who got her way around the SOTY 2 sets and is getting plum offers because of her mentor...JoJo Papa.

Lol joke! Annie baby needs more challenges to proof that she is a credible actress and star to reach Alia’s position. Alia reached the numero uno status through her hard work, her own talent and self confidence. Tbf Annie baby is better than others among her own contemporaries but to compare her with Alia is a joke!
