Meh. Is anyone really surprised by this. The way Alia has been around his family all the time, seemed obvious she'd be the next Kapoor bahu. Anyway, they're not a particularly interesting couple so aside from the entertainment factor of a big industry shaadi, there's really nothing else to be said about these two.

If they are really dating for year, if they have really decided to get married, I suppose they would have done it faster owing to Rishi Kapoor's illness. (He can see their wedding and bless them). Year end or now, it would not have made a difference.

Of course, RV-DP, Kareena-Saif, they all took time. But they were not in hurry.

Isnt it risky getting married after bramrashtra realises, what if it flops then? And bollywood seems obsessed with getting married at the year end.
