Nobody marries just to promote one movie. People said the same about Ash and Abhi promoting Guru but 10 years later and they're still married.

They have nothing to gain through marriage. RK's fans like him as a casanova and most eligible bachelor who dates every hot young girl. Alia has everything to lose by marrying so early in her 20s. Her male fans would move on to AnniePee and Sara types because for desi men, marriage means that she turned into an old aunty.

What good is a Kapoor name? It gives her nothing. Without it too she is getting all movies and is no.1 and KJo will keep finding movies for her.

They're not even acting like other PR couples and posting hundreds of instagram pictures or doing magazine covers and constant PDAs. They don't even go to events wearing coordinated clothes and their body language is not acted out to look like #couplegoals.

Alia is spending so much time visiting RK's sick dad, first in NY and now in India.

Whether anyone likes them or not, it's real.

RK-Alia looks, sounds, and smells like an arranged marriage. What is wrong with that when 80% of marriages in India are arranged? Parents like each other, she clearly is enamored. While RK doesn't look googly-eyed, he's in his late 30s now and shouldn't act like a horny teenager.

It is perhaps a clear-headed decision on both parts to settle down in their personal lives. They do have a lot in common, and marriage involves much more than physical appearances. Also, RK's penchant for dating leggy lasses aside, I can't see why Alia is not a match for him in terms of looks, either. Matched looks, matched backgrounds, matched interests, family backing. Basics are there for a successful relationship.
