It's also a pity that they are making the characters flip a lot according to their convenience.

Like kuhu was once supporting mishbir to be together (she was kinda conflicted even then but did it for her abir-bro & kunal) but now again we see that she's against mishti. It's just a plot device for them to increase the drama whereby consistency is not really maintained.

But in this case, maybe mishti could have had her "realization" earlier & not let the whole thing get to the mandap. Like jasmeet asked, "kisliye shaadi ka joda pehna", "kisliye mandap sajne diya". For Kuhu, it's a question of her brother getting back to alcohol again due to this mandap mei shaadi tootna. It could have ended much before, and she thinks her brother would've been saved some heartbreak. I don't think she knows that nishant lied about drinking...

Again, different ways of looking at the same thing. Once again, thanks for your points 😃👍

I am not anti Kuhu and all... infact i like her, but I never understood her all along!!! She is furious at Mishti for breaking her brothers dil, but she is fine with her MIL sending her husband to spike her same brothers drink! That too knowing that he is an addict! She never ever mentioned Meenakshi for hurting her family, may be once she did I don't remember but that's it!! Atleast Mishti did it for his own good, and Kuhu can understand it well... But what Meenakshi did, how can she even be not bothered about it at all...!

I truly admire mishti's character for speaking out when she needs to, though she still has scope for improvement. At least, I hope she doesn't change & doesn't become the mahan female lead. Right now, she's very different from other FLs on ITV, and that's great in itself.

We all know she's the female lead and that she'll be right at the end eventually. It's just that it makes sense to me to also try & understand the situations & motivations of the other characters too, in the course of the story.

It's just that I also find KuKu relationship equally interesting & appreciate where their individual characters, thoughts & actions are coming from.

Firstly, I'm not "anti-Kuhu" either. I call out behavior as I see it. Calling out Kuhu's selfishness and brattiness doesn't make her "bad".😕 I give her due credit whenever she does something good also. I call out Mishti for her weaknesses too but somehow saying anything about Kuhu becomes an issue.

No one here will disagree that BP and BM have not handled their kids correctly as parents. But that does not excuse Kuhu's behavior in my eyes even then.

Resentment, insecurity, selfishness are all human emotions, agreed. But strangely, Kuhu only feels these emotions for Mishti and not for the rest of the Maheshwari"family" that supposedly neglects her for Mishti. Why? Shouldn't she resent all of them equally if they have all neglected her? But no....she only resents Mishti because she others her.....constantly berates her and makes her feel like an outsider, not a blood relation. That is where she crosses the line and loses sympathy for the otherwise human emotion of resentment. When you take resentment that far, it is hard to justify it. Even if some here still seem to.

It's amazing that there are so many explanations for why Kuhu feels the way she does but not even a little thought spared for the impact of this behavior from Kuhu. So it's OK for Kuhu to constantly call Mishti an outsider simply because the family supports Mishti in hard times? When exactly have they treated Kuhu like an outsider? Thoda neglect ho gaya sometimes to that justifies treating Mishti like trash?

The sisters are twisted in their equation, so I don't even get into that back and forth much. But I'm beyond tired of Kuhu's "MERI family...tune MERI family ko hurt kiya" blah blah.....that IS how a selfish brat talks. Fact. So there is no point trying to justify it. Nothing justifies treating another human being like this.....that too a person like Mishti who has always gone out of her way to protect Kuhu.

What this entire turn of events has shown again is that Kuhu values blood relations over other relations.....she forgot Abir in the blink of an eye too simply cuz she saw her blood related brother getting hurt. Time and again she gets hung up on blood related family over extended family.

So much thought is being given here to how Kuhu feels alone and neglected because the family is worried for Mishti. Not even a little thought is spared for the fact that Mishti is still considering herself an outsider and WHY it is so, and WHO has said this to her for so many years. Kuhu has. When so many people constantly keep brushing aside the impact of Kuhu’s constant beratement on Mishti’s psyche, what “growth” can there be? 😕

Anyways, the writing in this show keeps flipping all the characters and there is rarely any accountability for anyone’s actions. I’m just stating the obvious shallowness of Kuhu’s flips from caring for Abir to suddenly only caring about “mera bhai” Nishant. She clearly doesn’t know how to balance and reacts with the simple mindedness of a child.

I honestly don’t think there IS anything to understand with Kuhu at this point 😆....this is why I generally don’t even bother commenting on her random Mishti hate bouts and flips. This topic was about what AM should do next but it has been devolved into jumping on the one line I wrote about Kuhu. Lol

Meenakshi? Lol woh kaun hai? All of Kuhu’s “bravado” is only reserved for threatening Mishti or Kunal 😆....why will she say anything to Meenu since Meenu indirectly is always trying to harm Kuhu ki most hated Mishti. Lol

Kuhu’s random jumpy Lowe for her bhai Nishant in this track has been all over the place and just can’t be taken seriously....she only reacts in the moment without any ability to comprehend things. Abir ne help maangi toh help kardi even though that help obviously was for taking Mishti away from Nishant 😕. Lol now when Mishti herself backs out of marrying Nishant, it’s all Mishti’s fault for hurting Kuhu ka bhai, Kuhu ki family 🤔....lol even Abir tried to stop the wedding but Kuhu will conveniently forget all that and only rant at Mishti.

It’s SUPER obvious that she resents Mishti whenever Mishti gets anything close to a resolution in her love story. The fact that she mouths dialogues like “Mishti ki fairytale” shows that she envies Mishti for getting reciprocation in love. And envy would be fine if Kuhu didn’t go 10 steps further to tear down Mishti and tout how she isn’t part of the family since she isn’t a blood bond. That behavior is unacceptable but sadly the Maheshwaris ignore it all and Mishti goes in mahaan mode letting it slide.

Yes, Kuhu definitely needs to grow up and take personal responsibility. She’s not a kid anymore....she’s a married woman supposedly running a business but she is still caught up in her lifelong resentment of Mishti. I don’t know what can make Kuhu wake up 🤷‍♀️.....she has a very strong victim mentality and Mishti is an easy target for her to blame and resent....especially if Mishti gets genuine love and happiness. For her own sake, Kuhu needs to grow up. She will never get anything out of being a constantly bitter brat.

What’s ironic to me is that Kuhu has seen Mishti go through so much pain as well but still the first moment she sees Mishti get some happiness, she goes back to resenting Mishti 🤷‍♀️....what kind of a bitter mind is that?

Nopes... All Kunal, Abir,Mishti,Meenu and Kuhu will land up in the same house and will do dhoom macha le dhoom till the last day of the show.. 😎😆

Btw I am also tired of seeing this repeat telecast of jealousy and insecurity.. they portray them as big huge family thinking about each other including Mishti but the moment she is genuinely happy everyone starts hyperventilating.. 😆They want Mishti in a goldilock situation .. they don't want Mishti to die, but don't want to see her happy and satisfied in life either..🤔

Haha I love the way you put this 😆.

Family is mostly a shallow joke in this show especially on the part of the siblings. I was sitting through some epis for AM’s sake but if story is back to the same mode of endless toxic hate - this time from Kuhu, then I probably need a break from the show again 🙏😆

I anyways have no interest in watching mopey Mishti crying and feeling ehsaan from her family all the time 🥱

There is a basic way to behave no matter what your reasons for liking/disliking a person. Kuhu resents Mishti for no reason....as if Mishti deliberately goes around bringing misfortune in her life. Her reactions are those of a typical spoilt brat. There is no growth....she just goes around in circles.

What anger? She jumps straight to "I HATE Mishti" simply cuz Mishti stated the obvious that she loves Abir and not Nishant? lol at one point, Kuhu herself was HELPING Mishti cuz she thought Mishti loved Abir and now suddenly Kuhu "hates" her cuz she broke off the wedding with her blood relation Nishant? lol even typing this sounds insane....I can't believe this behavior of Kuhu's is still being justified for this. lol oh well.

Kuhu resesnts Mishti and I agree she blamed her for all her sorrows in the beginning. Trust me I was annoyed at her behavior too. But saying there was no growth in her character is something I completely disagree. We've seen how she collapsed after her fairytale came crashing down.

  • Post leap she was shown starting her own event planning company (though most of the events are her own family ones 😆).
  • She was seen maturely handling her divorce situation with Kunal. She tried to be a good DIL (Imagine being nice to dragon saas). She didn't go crying and blaming Mishti for her sorrows then. She blamed her fate for getting stuck in a loveless marriage.
  • She was the one who tried to make Abir talk to Mishti during the wedding preparations. She wanted to save her brother Nishant from getting stuck like her in a loveless marriage.

She repeatedly asked Mishti if she was ready for the marriage. She asked her many times to rethink about her decision. It was Mishti who did not think about her relationship with Abir until the wedding day. Isn't it her fault? What if Abir wasn't in danger? Would she have married Nannu? It is totally right for Kuhu to say I hate you Mishti coz in spite of her trying to get her to talk to Abir, in spit of her repeatedly asking to rethink her decision of marrying Nannu, it was Mishti who assured her that she will marry Nannu. It was the assurance that Mishti gave that made Kuhu and her family think that Mishti is ready for the wedding. BP even asked her to choose between Abir and Nannu during Mehendi and yet she chose Nannu. Imagine how would one feel after getting so many assurances and then one day everything falls apart and flips in a second? Kuhu said I hate you Mishti coz Nannu was hurt, her family was hurt, BP and BM had a disagreement. If Mishti would have given time to take a decision all this wouldn't have happened.

Sorry what? 😕 It is totally right to HATE someone simply because they were confused about their emotions? So Mishti owes Kuhu a minute by minute update of her emotions in order to avoid being “hated”? Kuhu doesn’t need to take any personal responsibility in mature behavior?

Kuhu said so many horrible things to Mishti for SO long and still does...yet Mishti has never said she HATES her. But somehow Kuhu’s hate for Mishti is “justified” simply because Mishti didn’t update her in time that she can’t marry Nishant? 😕😆

Mishti never told Kuhu she loved Nishant. She was always upfront about marrying him as a compromise for the family. If Kuhu chose to blind herself to the obvious, that’s on her. And nothing justifies HATING Mishti for this.

I’m not sure why no one here wants Kuhu to grow up and instead actually justify her childish tantrums 🤷‍♀️

You are getting me wrong. I'm not saying hating is justified. I'm saying her saying "I hate you" is justified in this situation. And she didn't expect Mishti to give a minute by minute update - she expected her to get her true love and not make Nannu or the family scapegoats. She wanted AM to get together. She did try many times but even Misthi was rude to her remember when she tried getting Abir to talk to her. And I don't remember Mishti saying it upfront that she is marrying Nannu as a compromise. Am I watching a different show? 😲

And Kuhu has grown and matured throughout the show. One line of hers and people call her childish and selfish 😆

Anyways I respect your opinions and I stated mine. Peace!
