I will now venture into pak series which until now is an alien concept to me.i thought that people in Pakistan always wear burkha and Male have very orthodox mentality regarding their female counterparts.its only my assumption as I never knew anything abt pak other than they r our neighbors .

I look for content so love watching Netflix, Amazon prime, HBO, NBC and Pakistani shows. Recently watched two popes on Netflix and it was great.

Pakistani dramas are great - excellent concept, content, only 34 episodes max, good story, no unnecessary drama and ends well and realistic. They actually make some really good shows and even i was surprised when I started watching it few years back.

Do watch Gathbandhan another Indian show if you want good Hindi show - best ML ever. Always supported the FL, his mum was a baddie but even she kept saying that my son always supports his wife, he told his wife to focus on her and them, told his mum that you need to be nice to my wife, the leads actually talked a lot - in their room, out, on the terrace and they went on dates, spoke about future. The FL was like madhuri dixit in beta very good. I loved that show. Currently am also watching Choti Sardarni and loving sarabjeet another great ML. Compared to that Aman is useless who never believed his wife and still doesn’t.

And then roshni again wud be left alone without her so called husband and family's support...

yep that's possible I hate it when villain outsmarts leads in soaps.why can't lead have a brain or something

Yes I saw that and that’s exactly my point - apologies afterwards and then does the same thing again. How is that even a sorry when he has learnt nothing. Alia is good but Ayana is just jealous and insecure. Who wouldn’t be and anyway, why not even be a bit curious?

Roshni never had Amans support she has always done things without his support. He says a lot but when push comes to shove he backs off. Alia is good but his wife is just being emotional. That’s so demeaning to roshni as a person and a wife. Which wife will put up with that? Aman looks all over the place - I think the actor has had it too.

thanks hon.i will first watch tawaan.i really liked the first epi.Pak series looks very modern. And the people r really beautiful. One series at a time after finishing tawaan will watch gath. But I do agree limited series is definitely the best.

Yes, Pakistani shows are crisp..they are finite and stick to the script... also the actors get to try different characters and roles too....even I have watched few of them... yakeen ka safar, zindagi gulzar hai, and suno chanda (season 1) which was a lively and entertaining as well

All shows you mentioned are great - I watched humsafar, tawaan, ramze Ishq, tabeer, dil lagi, and currently watching Deewangi. I love that actors there try different roles both good and bad and story stays on point. No stupid drama and shock value.

sorry to barge in but when you mentioned Pak series, just a suggestion. Pls watch Zindagi gulzar hai, and Humsafar. Two of the very good pak dramas. very practical.

I just come here to read all your POVs. I dont watch this show as such except taking a peak once in a while. ANd i know Gul is an expert in spoiling her own characters and shows!!!

Good to e-meet another person who is a script lover like I. I cannot take shows that has worthless script or story and no meat in their characters. I infact most of the time stick to English shows rather than these stupid hindi ones.

BOLD - completely agreed!!!
