What’s it like to live half a life?

Raman knows.

Ishita knows.

What’s it like to be resurrected , from the person you least expect it?

I just saw the scene in which Raman tricks Ishita into declaring she damaged his car in the amma accident track.

It was pure joy to watch.

Raman was playful. He was amused. He was taken by Ishita. It’s like you can actually see her breath life back into the man.

Her innocent mistakes, his ‘not so confrontational’ confrontation. He can’t be mad at her, for his huff and bravado, it’s like you can see his defences against her weaken.

Oh the eye lock. She’s bumbling, rambling, worried about his impending anger. And all he can do is gravitate toward her, look into her eyes and stun her into being quiet. This moment could actually summarise their whole relationship. Sometimes it’s Raman, who’s quietening a storm within Ishita, and sometimes it’s Ishita caressing Raman’s cheek to weather the storm.

He looks into her eyes and all he can see is an innocence, tenderness. It’s like he’s never seen anyone quite like Ishita. While we all find Raman to be the sum of complexities, Raman can never quite see what Ishita will do next. He knows her by now. Knows she can match his steps equally. But still there’s a sense of unpredictability he revels in. Here, when he tricks Ishita, and he might be expecting fiery banter, what he encounters is a childlike purity.

It’s like you can feel the brick walls tumbling. Each time she stuns him, you see him have to literally pull himself back together, knock himself out of thinking that way about her.

Ishita’s truly adorable here. And you can see even at this stage, Raman secretly adores her.

Cold heart no more, he melts away at her. And oh it was pure bliss to rewatch ❤️

Oh! That was a beautiful phase. The buildup of changing of dynamics between the two was done adeptly by the CVs.

Beautiful analysis like always Zoya..Truely Raman was adoring that child like Ishita..He was amused by her innocence so went on to do nautanki ..

The way Ishita said Kitna to daante ho aap was truly one of the cutest thing .

It was a treat to watch their nokh jhok scenes.

This one☝ too❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Their eye locks are always bliss to watch😍. Especially the unlicensed ones😆.....matlab, when they were not yet privileged to realise their love for each other, not yet ready to embrace the love for each other, not yet confessed their love for each other, cuz they are still husband and wife officially, 'sirf Ruhi ke liye'😃'.... ..whenever their eyes meet, they would automatically hide or abruptly end the moment, and don't take it further, cuz their 'love' is officially not 'licensed'😊

And we get similar eye moments, after they confessed their love for each other😊, the 'licenced' ones😉....where they don't need to hide their feelings for each other, or pull back themselves from what theit heart desire of each other.....but still the 'unlicensed' ones carry some sort of rawness💜, and the tension that builds up in their eyes when they try to hide the special 'something', which neither their own hearts are aware of, nor would they expect the other to understand...is exceptionally😍

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the eye lock that they shared during their first Karwa Chauth where Raman is deeply disturbed by Ishita's behaviour and Ishita is amazed after knowing that Raman fasted for her. It's my most favourite and took place on the 19th October 2014.

Divyanka nailed that scene to perfection. From a fiery Ishita to the one with childlike innocence conveyed beautifully with puppy eyes, the scene was a sight to behold. Damn when will I see another show like this again in my lifetime. Tried and given up on all, I guess never. I seriously wonder what is wrong with the newer shows, instead of replicating YHM style story telling and direction, they are more flashy and OTT deploying older gimmicks like zoompans etc., for effective storytelling. One would expect they would go the YHM way after its huge success but seems like they see YHM as an exception rather than the rule. Or it could be the most of the TV actors cannot portray emotions this convincingly without those gimmicks. Not sure which one is the case.
