TM being a so-called deepika fan (new by her own admission) i am just telling her the truth of the forum........ also, in case if she is not new and an old rival fan, just out to get deepika and her fandom bashed.......then she is doing a fine job, opening new threads daily like SH used to do for Alia

Cat calling the kettle black.

For one I don't see why you're saying you when I'm not one of the people who are mocking her.

But I wouldn't say I'm not satisfied her movie backfired as her fans have made an habit to be unbearable and mocking other actresses constantly on this forum. This is why people are being so bad about her today I'm sure.

They like to put down other actresses' acting and BO. They were so ready for Chappak breaking the BO and fetching herself a NA but it seems it might not happen.

It's true though that it might be a bummer for her fans that the movie and Deepika were so bad as they might not be able to enjoy watching the movie on a regular basis. Because in the end of the day it's not the BO that counts imo but the end product.

This is hilarious 😆 Now everyone/ everything ll be blamed for bad acting of Padukone and her PR tactics 🤪

And her 2020 claim to fame ll be JNU 🤣

This has nothing to do with Deepika Any other actress who would essay a role like as an acid attack victim could easily considered for an NA if it’s done right.

4. JNU students can't even afford 300rs fees. How they are going to spend 300rs on the movie and make it blockbuster? Deepika should have thought about this economics before.

The film had a very positive vibe around it prior to Deepika's JNU visit.

The whole JNU thing backfired (if it was a PR strategy) badly. 😵

In today's political climate, it is better for actors to stay as far as possible from political issues. Sad, but true.🤔

Having said that, the film was very weak in terms of storytelling and direction.

Deepika's performance was great as usual.

Obviously, a certain section is making it about her acting abilities, BO pull just to rile up her fans, and her fans are easily giving in.😆

Meghna Gulzar does have a tendency to make her movies more 'arty/dry/ documentary like' than commercial. I think Raazi's success was partly due to KJo making sure that the 'commercial' and 'arty' aspects balanced each other perfectly.Plus patriotism is the flavor of the day and the movie succeeded in garnering that sentiment.

That was when JNUians were high on nashakhori (quite common there). Jab kal ko hosh aaya to kaun movie...kaun Deepika? Yaha to fee bharne ke 300rs nahi. Uske liye loan lena hai ya firse strike karna hai for such a inhuman and fascist fee hike against the poor souls.
