Because superstarni whose last few were blockbusters should pull audience on the first day, no matter how the story or execution was. Loyal fans don't miss the first day. They watch the superstarni's film on day one.

Like when people talk about giving the actors credit for Bajirao and padmavat, I always mention that Slb is a major factor for those movies being hits

That's my personal opinion, if you think differently about it then that's fine

But that s not how it works zara first day is always because of the star power. Chappak was sold on deepika s name. So ofcourse people will blame her for its failure because without her chappak would have fared much better it is because her desperation to be center of everything that took the focus away from main subject of the movie. Her PR tactics are awful her attention seeking nature unbearable.

Before Deepika went to JNU,the forum was calling out BW stars to talk about the students protesting.

maybe tomorrow I will pull out those posts..

Now silence.

Now the talk is about 4.77 cr opening.

That is real picture there.

I guess I just dont give too much attention to opening numbers, for me it's the lifetime collections that matter, some movies open on small numbers then grow with good word of mouth, some movies get massive opening numbers then crash on the 2nd and 3rd day. I know others give importance to opening numbers and that's their choice

And tbh star power can't save a movie anymore, it's the content, writing and direction which makes a movie a hit

First day works solely in star power. And lifetime depends on WOM. Movie rise or crash on 2 nd or 3rd day because if WOM

However you try to put it..the stars who kept quiet..are going to be judged by BW media itself. It is going to be a rough road.I have seen haters in the BWmedia, who have written filth against DP,tweet Bravo.

As the current political climate is not going to go away.People are raising their voice around the country. It is not something which will go away..and everyone can come out and preten nothing happened.

Fans ,me included don't make 0.0000% difference.Stars have to do it themselves.

In this time when BW is struggling-forget Deepika and her opening numbers.Time will tell which films and roles she will be remembered by.

Again..Talk about your favorites -Unless your message is read by a few lakhs(instead of a few 100s)-you make no differnce.

Celebrate your own stars.

tbh i would rather my fave had a hit movie that had a low opening numbers than a flop movie that had really high opening number, coz at the end of the day people are gonna remember that the movie is a hit or a flop regardless of the opening collections. With TOH it opened to huge numbers but what people remember is that is was disaster at the box office and not a good film

Matlab chit b meri patt b meri. Padmaavat bb thi toh dp fans gave credit to her eventhough she did nothing and was weakest link of the movie and now chappak flopped, you're shifting the blame to director? Lol good going 😆
