Blame and failure are both harsh words.

There are somethings that can be written off as failures and the makers can be blamed for it. But there are some things that are so exceptionally difficult that there is really no failure, even attempting somethings can be counted as a success.

In my opinion, Chhapaak falls in the latter category. Telling a meaningful story about acid attack victims that is both thought-provoking and entertaining is not easy. Even if it is not successful as a film, it deserves appreciation for getting the conversation started.

I know Uyyare was more acclaimed, but due to linguistic divides not many people saw or appreciated it. And I feel this is a subject where everything that broaches the subject deserves merit.

Given the negativity you share about SRK, I don't think you have any right to call forum negative lol.
