In my childhood, it used to be kasautii or kahani or kyuki songs...n as I grew up, it was yhm song....gonna miss this terribly!!!

Ruhi was such a cutie pie. Ruhaanika is a blessed child... didn't see any child actor as innocent n cute as her. Itv children r mostly dadi amma's but this was one child who carried this dadi amma role with so much innocence that she didn't irritate u but made u fall for her innocence. This kid did so many things that no child in real life would do at her age. But the acting was so naturally innocent that it made u forget the real life n rooted for her actions. Though her acts were dadi amma'ish, but the way she did them were child-like. I didn't like her acting as she grew up n was turned into pihu...but she was mind-blowing as ru. The emotions that Ruhi went through were intense n extremely complicated, I wonder if ruhaanika even understood them, I wonder how her mother or director or her co-actors even explained to her those scenes...but at the age of 5, her eyes spoke volumes n that was unbelievable!!! Ruhaanika, DT n KP...three actors who emoted through their eyes...n this powerhouse of talent made their chemistry so fcuking real n natural!!! Ishita hugged Ruhi in the first episode n I was sold for DivRu chemistry 🙈 n then in the second episode, Raman's heartless yet righteous swag was killer!! I m fan of KP's index finger since that very day😆 The way he shoo'es people with his finger is so sexy😆 Then that Mata Ka jagrata scene where ishita sees broken relationship of Raman n Ruhi n then their first clash when they r on call n electricity goes off...the way they cross eachother's paths with that yhm tune in background....I was like koi movie poster banao iss scene ka😳 they screamed chemistry from get go!!! Can we ever forget that newspaper scene? "Naukro Ka na sahi, thank you bolne ka riwaaz hai iss sheher mein"...."yeah whatever...thank yew!!!"🔥🔥🔥

Lo, Anu, main finally aa gayi! 😆

I don't recall seeing any uber cute kids in any of my itv dramas so I ain't really a fan of kids in romance shows - they feel force-fitted a lot of time. The most recent kid character I liked was of course, Mowgli - not Mishti though, even though she was introduced before him. But Ruhi is my absolute FAVOURITE!! This character is totally adorbs and so is Ruhanika! I absolutely love her for her innocence, and more so for her dadi amma'ness. 😆 Those scenes especially melt my heart when she stands up for her Ishima. ❤️ I'm pretty sure Ruhanika's mother did the job of explaining the nuances of each scene to her and helped her get it right. Right from the loneliness in her eyes at the start to the hurt on not getting her father's attention, to the fear of going away from her father, the pain on actually having to go away from him, the happiness when he unexpectedly visited her and then sheer joy on learning that Ishita aunty wasn't going away anywhere but becoming her Ishita mumma, the kid aced the entire gamut of emotions! Then later on, the naughtiness in her eyes when she tried to pair Papa and Ishima and the happiness every single day on seeing them together and having a complete family - she portrayed it all so beautifully and perfectly!!

IshRu's first scene where she goes "Louie" had me go all aww. And though I wanted IshRa to meet already, I thoroughly enjoyed the slow and steady way their story started and progressed. When Raman was first introduced along with Toshi's description on his qualities, he was the opposite of what she said each time and so when she said, "Mera beta kisi ladki ko aankh uthakar nahi dekhta..." I was pretty much prepared to see another casanova, but boy, the way they proved that one right! The scene with the manager's wife was downright wicked and so amazingly done. And the man had no regrets that it had actually resulted in breaking a marriage. 😆

Then that first clash scene was also quite beautifully done. Coincidentally, their work circumstances in that moment were similar but their thoughts, polar opposites. What made the scene stand out more so was Raman actually stopping to see who it was that had voiced her thoughts so contrary to his. The newspaper scene - he was oozing arrogance, as usual, and Ishita was just left rolling her eyes.

Oh, and both the songs are so beautiful down to every line of the lyrics. And each power-packed scene, combined with the appropriate lyrics in the bg gave the scenes a lasting impact!

The definitely was different...In spite of having issue with everything right from dressing to story, this show has beautiful😆

Divan too were definitely special. Seeing them together, nobody will say that these two would make an extra ordinary pair. They were never a picture perfect good-looking pair together as their heights n bodies were not conventionally suitable, but somehow wo dono kuch iss kadar fit ho gaye k koi hottest couple bhi unke level pe nahi pohchega!! Just bring these two in one screen n they'll show u what natural chemistry is!! Till date, i haven't seen a pair other than Divan and Jenshad who can have crackling chemistry even without touching or coming close to each other from scene 1!!! I don't like DT's acting anymore, it's too artificial, extra sweet n monotonous now. But what it was back then, nobody could match it in those times. Specially emotional scenes. The intensity n subtlety with which these two perform the emotional scenes is outstanding!!!

Oh, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who has complains on their wardrobe and grooming. KP's hair, especially, and then Raj's too have annoyed me the most throughout - what annoying styling! The slicked back hair does not look good on either of them. KP, sometimes, especially in the party events, still managed to pull it off, but it never looked good on Raj. Mihir's formal shirts also felt too loose sometimes, giving him a very baggy look. He looked best in his short cropped hair - in the very initial scenes. Post that, once he grew his hair, it was like they didn't know what to do with it with his formal wardrobe.

For KP, Raman being all top-shot corporate honcho, sometimes his hair looked horribly, crassly-styled - or not styled at all, rather. Ashok always looked perfectly, slickly-groomed in comparison. Damn, Param also looked fairly decent and so did Sooraj. Bas Raman ko hi kahin ka kabada look de diya tha kaee baar!

Ishita's regular sarees also felt meh to me, but her sarees for parties and events, once she started wearing designer, were good. I agreed whole-heartedly with Raman whenever he teased her with 'thaan lapet ke aa jaegi 🤣.' Mihika also had the same style salwar-suits without much variety.

It's a pain to work with such people and also with micro-managers. I find them the most annoying. I always need my personal and professional space when working. Having someone loitering around constantly becomes quite stressful.

Once again, I'm glad I took your recommendation. 🤣

Though I don't think I've watched an Ekta show in close to a decade, or maybe longer. But I am enjoying this one quite a bit. However, one thing that I'd forgotten was that Ekta loves to mismatch her couples after they've fallen in love. It came back with a bolt when she split Mihir and Mihika. Though earlier, she would do this even with her lead couples, glad that is not the case here.

See for me, Maya went with the flow. She had no plans of falling for Rudra but she is slowly and steadily. Given what we saw in the tiny glimpse of Maya's past, she seems to have been a very compassionate, kindhearted girl who only knew how to give without expecting anything in return. That innocence was visible and the fact that she treated an ordinary employee of MJ's like her own brother shows how innocent and naive she was, when it came to trusting people around her. She probably never thought that one day in life she will have to question her own belief. We donno what happened exactly but all we know was that she was destroyed brutally. That probably made her question her own thought process. She gave so much for these people but what did she get in return? This was a question she probably never had to ask before because the people for whom she did everything, though might not have given her anything back in return but they probably did not abuse her like this. She was OK with being the person she was but only after that incident she realises she was wrong and she probably should not have been generous when the person was not even capable of acknowledging it forget reciprocating it. Now she comes across a person who wants to give something that belongs to him to her without expecting anything from her in return, she is taken aback. Loved this scene between MayRa. She knew Rudra is an honest man but did she expect him to extend this selfless gesture? Probably not. I didn't find anything off about that kiss because somewhere everything was leading to that. And trust me Anu, sometimes just your instinct might take over and you go with the flow when you get intimate with someone. You might not be in a relationship with that person, your feelings might still be premature but attraction doesn't go by a rule book and that is what they showed here. This felt more natural to me than what we see in typical ITV shows where a couple fall in love, wait for eons to even share a hug. I am not saying we do not have such scenarios. We do but ITV has portrayed it in such a manner that subconsciously we have established a predefined sequence of events in our minds where romance is concerned. I love how Rudra's character has shaped up. I never thought I would say this but Shivin is kinda growing on me. I was disappointed when I got to know he is the ML of the show but he has done a good job and more than anything his chemistry with Jen is so good.

I so wish Rudra had not proposed to Ananya out of impulse but ever since he posted a video on insta with him and Ananya in that festive outfit I knew it must be their engagement. Donno y I had this feeling and now he is getting engaged to her.

Trust me Mandy, Ronakshi were the first thing on my mind too when I saw mayra kissing just out of the blue🤣 Ronakshi toh yeh maamle mein gone case hai...anyways I'll not say anything more on them warna aaj kal iss forum mein bhi kaafi moral policing ho rahi hai...I'll get the theoretical lectures on love is much more than physical intimacy n all😆

About Mayra's kiss, I dont't have an issue with kissing without love ya...that's totally okay. I know you kiss out of love, lust, passion, attraction, intense emotions, impulse or just your instinct like you say. I used to watch a show called dil hi toh hai where they kissed in the first episode itself n I didn't mind that. I don't even expect the kiss to wait till a long 2 years journey of the show or I don't insist that it has to happen only after you realise your love. This also has nothing to do with Maya's past, present or future. I was only not satisfied with the build up to this scene. Rudra's attraction was visible since a few episodes. But I didn't feel love/lust/attraction/passion/aggression/revenge/hormonal imbalance etc from maya's side when it came to Rudra. All I could see was Maya is calculating her every move, she has her revenge game on, she is utilising MJ's sons as pawns in her game, she admires rudra for his truthfulness, meanwhile her admiration has grown due to rudra standing by her side against MJ and she intentionally gets close to Rudra when ananya is watching them just to make her jealous or some bigger motive...that's it. Until they kissed each other, I didn't see Maya anyway emotionally attracted to Rudra. The way she is running away from discussing the kiss now and has tears in her eyes while saying it was a mistake n all, its a bit sudden for me.

Anyways, yeh sab ab lag raha hai...dekhte waqt I absolutely loved the scene and every Mayra things that is following😆 Rudra's attraction towards Maya is written and enacted good enough to make me feel the connect with the story. Shivin is really progressing with each passing day and MayRa scenes are bomb these days!! He looked stud in that denim shirt and messy hair...way hotter and manly than his regular look!

I m totally away from social media these days...so I wasn't aware about this insta post. It came as a shocker in the story n I facepalmed I m not here for this typical Gul drama🤔

My recommendations are over now😆

Mihir-Mihika really met a sad fate...these two were always loved🤔 The best parallel leads any show could get where the actors were good, who got a nice story, who didn't steal the screen-space of leads and all the good things!! We used to be as attached to MiMi as IshRa!

Thankfully this didn't happen with IshRa. This might be the first Ekta where cross-pairing didn't happen. Ishita k toh failed attempts bhi nahi hue, but Raman...uske bete ki shaadi ho gayi fir bhi he was one wanted munda😆 Uske shaadi attempts hue bohot baar... but the popularity of IshRa was so extremely high that ekta could never dare change the pairs even for a day or all those cheap tricks like fake marriage or illegal marriage or dusri shaadi n all!!😆

The last week was a story changer, Sarcy! We had a heart to heart conversation where he told me his issues at senior level n all the dil halka karna n called me his friend, not team member🤣 He has been good with me since a week and I have had quite a peaceful week. Par tu hi gayab thi🤔😆

Fingers crossed uski yeh sadbuddhi barkaraar rahe!!
