2019: Akki vs Duggu? Who had a bigger year?

Good Newz seems like a hit already and 100 crore is a sureshot, with decent to good reviews and positive WOM, making it Akki's fourth 100 crore(or 150 crore, if GN does 150) movie this year, a peculiar record, peculiar because not every big star can do four hit or success in a year, let alone 4 100 crores plus grosser, so it is not a slight on other actors.

Hrithik on the other hand had his first truly great year in box office this decade. A well received super hit in Super 30, and than a HGOTY with War. He is now the hottest property in the BW and has potential to repeat the Salman Khan's 2010s like dominance, although he should choose wisely, and balance between masala and good content.

So who do you think had a better year??

Hritik is the itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, yellow polka dot bikini....risky but if put on the right babe....will blow every one away...

Point is Akki can keep doing ...his 200 movies in one year and they will be hits ....Hritik's one movie like WAR is enough to wipe the floor with all of Akki's movies😉😆

Hrithiks 2019 doesn’t just win this comparison. But this is one of the best year a star/actor had ever had in terms of acclaim and box office.

That being said ranking wise I’d say at this moment Akshay is still ahead of Hrithik. Cause before 2019 Hrithik didn’t have a good couple of years.l as compared to akshay who has been on a roll. Even now Hrithik doesn’t have any film confirmed while akshay could have 4 super hits next year.

Naah. Deepika in 2013 is best year any actor had in recent times. Before that SRK in 2007

HR.... how? It has been more Shahid's year than Duggu. I liked War but the movie didn't have as much of an impact on people as Kabir Singh did this year, whether negatively or positively lol. So I'd say Akki and Shahid!

nah, it isn't like there is no comparison, we saw without big holiday and big co star, HR didn't had a great opening with Super 30, so the ground level both have same level field currently.

I mean let's not forget Akki defeated HR quite cleanly when both clashed. Yes MD wasn't a masterpiece, but Rustom wasn't a classic either.

how was it Shahid's year? Kabir singh was not everybody's cup of tea. It was a either hate it or love it type of movie. what else movies did he do?

Akki's movies were forgettable. no one even remembers the release date of his movies.

It was HR's year.

How is this a stupid question.

And how is Akki, low profit, he has given three huge hits, Kesari made 150 crores, Mission Mangal made 190 plus(if you follow BOI, others day 200) and Houseful 4 did 200. Still he is seen as someone doing 60-70 crores on investment of 30 crores.

And your TL is dependant on your searches, whom you follow and how much manipulation and spamming is done by the PR and fans of the said star.

HR obviously 2 different character,super hit movie ..
