So, I saw yesterday's episode and while I am happy that Yogi is finally showing pain for what happened, I still didn't agree with the way it is being portrayed. So here, is my version of how it should have happened.

SIX HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS OR YEARS

Yogi removes his grandfather' hand and faces his father as he reads the words from his father's mouth to not punish Gunjan. This was his family and yet for the first time, Yogi felt that they were completely blind to what is happening to him. They say that they see, but what they see, they don't understand. And for the first time, Yogi felt that it was wrong, what happened to him. That if he could hear and speak, he could scream his anguish for the rest of the world to her, his anguish at this marriage, his anguish for his love's guilt, tears and for the first time, for his family's insensitivity.

Prakash looks at Yogi, seeing Yogi take a deep calm breath. He hopes now, that Yogi would finally understand that it is time now to accept reality. Yogi makes some gestures. Prakash looks at Rani, who looks at Yogi in puzzlement. She said "Yogi asked how long you have known Shiv Uncle?"

Now looking at everyone's confusion, Prakash said "Since we were 6 years old."

Yogi looks at Rani and Gunjan standing beside her and asked "How long have we been married?".

Rani said "6 days."

Yogi looks at his mother and grandmother "How long has Pari stayed here?". His mother is shocked, as she finally comprehends what Yogi is trying to say. Seeing his wife, say nothing, Prakash gets impatient and asked "6 months. What are you trying to say Yogi?"

Yogi smiles a bittersweet smile and starts clapping. Everyone continues to look on in confusion as Yogi continues clapping.

Yogi then looks at Rani and signed "So, Bhabhi, 6 days relationship is given more importance than a 6 month relationship?"

Rani looks at Yogi in shock and asked "Yogi what are you saying? You and Gunjan are married. And there is no relationship more important and sacred than between the relationship between husband and wife."

Yogi looks at her and signed "Then by that logic, you and Vivek Bhaiya should not have been in love before marriage."

Everyone stiffens finally in shock, Yogi points towards his grandfather and grandmother and signed "You both knew each other before marriage. Loved each other before marriage also. So if you both had not married each other, does that mean that your love for each other is sinful, not right?"

Prakash shouts "YOGI." and before anyone could react, goes and slaps him on the face. Feeling the sting on his face, Yogi smiles for he still remembers his love's tears. Prakash catches him by the collar and said "How can you say that Yogi? They are your grandparents. You have to show them respect, they are elder than you." Yogi removes his father's hands from his collar and signed "Respect. That is the main problem here. Respect."

Yogi turns and looks at where Pari usually sat during their conversation. He looks at all of them looking at him in silence and signed "We are always taught to respect our elders. Elders always make the right decision for us. And even if elder's make the wrong decision, then its our responsibility to adjust along with that decision. Why? Because the decision is already made and it cannot be undone. Right?"

Yogi remembers Pari's antics and signed "Pari wasn't like that. She learned to live independently without any care for anyone. But then she came here. She saw what my family is like. She did not just fall in love with me. She fell in love with all of us. She wanted to spent every moment here, every happiness, every sadness, every difficulty etc."

Yogi then remembers the moment, when she told her decision and signed "When Pari told me to go back and marry Gunjan, I was devastated. But then later on, I realized that Pari said this because she saw, that if we both had gotten married then this entire family would have become broken, and Pari knew how a life with broken family and she would rather break our relationship than for us to live a life with a broken family."

He then looks at his father and signed "You always say don't punish Gunjan for your mistake. You never once asked about Pari. Whenever I went to meet Pari, you never once questioned on how Pari is? Did she eat food? Is she taking care of myself? You question why I am angry with you. This is because you still did not understand what your mistake is. You still don't understand where you have gone wrong."

Yogi then signs his mother "Pari was like your daughter right. You were going to give your favourite saree, so she remembers you when you go back to Kolkata? What happened now? Why didn't you question me on how Pari is. Did she even matter to you in the first place?"

Yogi looks at Rani and signed "You were friends with Pari. Did you not even think to message her once. Ask her if she is okay? Is she taking care of herself. You told me, a husband and wife relationship is sacred. What about friendship, motherhood? Aren't those important? Isn't love and trust important in the relationship. Is love something that can be easily exchanged."

Yogi then finally looks at Gunjan and signed "You asked me why didn't I tell you about me and Pari before our marriage? Here is my question. When you could have moved on with Roshan, then why couldn't I have. Why do you make me feel guilty for something which you are also guilty of? Did you think once to come and ask me if there is someone in my life now. Did you not question that everything happened so fast? Why did it happen so fast? Why was everyone in a hurry to get us married? You had just come out of a broken proposal. You asked me why didn't I tell. Here is my question, Why did you never question anything that was happening with you?"

Yogi looks at everyone and signed "My family showed me for the first time, that unless that relationship is biological and something which is named after 7 rounds around a fire, it is not legal. That is why you are willing to fight for a girl who broke a relationship with me after 6 weeks and now is my wife for 6 days instead for a girl who has been with us and fighting for us, from everyone for the past 8 months. And willing to break a relationship made in 6 months in 6 hours. Because in your eyes, unless that relationship was someone you shared blood with or someone whom you have taken 7 rounds, it has no value, no importance in our lives. That is why you think my love is interchangeable that it can shift from one person to next, to back to the first person."

Yogi then looks at his father and signed "Mine and Gunjan relationship is not a husband-wife relationship. It is the result of your relationship with Shiv Uncle since you were 6 years old. Because in the end, Years is always higher than months no matter how much you twist it."

Hope you like it. This is just my thoughts. I am thinking of a fanfic, but still not sure.

Very well said dear 👍👍 how I wish you are in writers team of IIM ....

Plz share ths on Insta and tag makers and cast and Sony TV also....let them realize we r not in 16th century now ....

How beautifully you expressed Yogi's mindset and mistakes of his family.....you know it's apply in real life also.....

Yes Marriages in our country are very important but we have to understand that forced Marriages are not worth it....

You destroy someone's life and you not even realized and top of that giving lectures ....such a disappointment by makers of IIM

Plz share it with Sony TV and makers of IIM ....may be they understand where they r going wrong.

Nice job! Please write the fanfic I'd love to read it! You've absolutely hit the nail on the head. Simply completing some rituals doesn't elevate a relationship. Ultimately, it comes down to time and feelings. Everyone is guilty here. But Yogi is the only one dealing with it like a human being. Yes, he's behaving wildly, because humans have emotions, and they can't just "get over" things in a snap. He shouldn't have married Gunjan, he is guilty of that. It's better to stay a bachelor in such a situation. But just because the marriage did take place, doesn't mean everything changes. It seems like Shrivastavs never cared for Pari at all, not like she cared for them. I wonder if they even care for Yogi. Heck, Sharmas look like the better parents now. They would move heaven and earth for their daughter, but Shrivastavs will not fight for Yogi. I question if Pari should even go back to that house even if YoRi happens. As for Gunjan, she doesn't even respect herself, and they are telling Yogi to respect her? Claiming ignorance is no excuse if you had doubts or never sought to verify yourself. Why did she call Pari that day? Because she was doubtful, right? Why not call Yogi? She never followed up on it, so now it just looks like she called Pari just to taunt her! Each episode she clings desperately to that marriage photo like it's a lifeline. Should've married the damn photo!
