Why couldn't spineless Anupama ask her about it? Even Rajeev didn't bring it up. Must have been asked by the PR to not mention it. So scared is Deepika to address her stand on it?

For that the director,producer,co-actors or she herself should have been quoted on it.

Also,RK,Shraddha are doing the film.It reflects badly on them,..because of that they will never ever bring about the topic.DP fans trending # notmy Deepika,is something others want to forget.

Deepika was never ever announced for the film.Only RK and AD were..and now Shraddha.

Where did you see her heartbroken? Are we watching the same interview or you have more footage than rest of us?

Why should anyone ask her about Luv Ranjan movie? She has never confirmed it. She said she won't do movie with any person who is accused and she showed it with her action. For her, all the drama was "conjuncture".

if she did admit that she made a mistake by meeting him, she would be starting up the whole controversy again and bringing RK and Shraddha under the scanner who are officially confirmed to work in Luv's project. Not that those two will face much heat (I assume the forum would be full of "sour grapes" and "jealous, fake mahanta" jibes at DP) but why get into that mess at this point.

If she defended herself and not own up to her actions, that would essentially mean she is defending a MeToo accused.

Basically, the only option for her is silence 😆 Though she must be quite torn up that her activist actions backfired on her and she lost out on work while the accused himself and his collaborators get off scot-free. No wonder most in BW follow the 'ignorance is bliss' approach and get away with everything.. and the minor few who do speak like Taapsee get labelled as ~annoying and publicity-seeking~

"What answer could she give?" There was no way for her to look good here. Which is why she got this arrangement with interviewers where could not ask her questions on this.

I mean, that's what I said, there is nothing she can say right here. As for the interviewers, will they question any of the big-ticket stars on why they are actually working with Hirani or Ranjan or Bhushan (or Sajid I supposed will be redeemed in a while) ? No one.

I think Ankur Pathak has the daring to ask uncomfortable questions, but no one will give any bytes
