Maya’s informer

This might be a really silly speculation but I think Maya’s informer aka the one secretly operating every task under Maya’s commands is going to meet MJ as the investor while Maya tackles the situation with Rudra and Ananya. And also he might be the one who actually talked to MJ over phone and then informed and asked Maya if she wants to attend the party or not. Cause given the circumstances, I can hardly make myself believe that a cunning person as MJ wouldn’t recognize Maya’s voice, provided they shared a past and Maya who had a breakdown by merely sensing his presence is probably scared of him to death. So talking to him casually doesn’t seem to be an option, let alone meeting him.

Not at all silly. It's what I think as well and keep saying since the party and promo of Maya-MJ's call came out. Maya and MJ did not speak to each other. No way in hell did they speak to each other. They spoke to Maya's informer who will be seen as the investor. It'll make MJ think he's winning and because Rudra knows that Maya is the investor, he'll think that MJ is losing.
