Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan >>>>>>>>> singers of today
They have their own distinct voice, style of singing and sound so fresh till date ❤️
They both belong to Golden era of music.
I love Uditji this man rocks even at 64.

Kumar sanu is better than him.
No doubt they are good singers, but frankly in terms of range, depth as well as variety Sonu Nigam from that era is king. That’s imho.

Sonu is technically a better singer.
But Kumar and Udit were more charismatic singers. Imagine Sonu singing Pehla Nasha or Sonu singing Dheere Dheere. He wouldn't have brought that joie de vivre that they were capable of.
However, when it comes to pitch and note, Sonu is definitely superior to the two. When it comes to bringing life to a song, nobody beats Udit Narayan from the modern era.
Kumar sanu, udit Narayan were the best without any doubt. Frankly there is no comparison of them with the present ones.
Evergreen voices of evergreen Era of bollywood in 90s belongs to them.
Should I say they owe that Era.
I personally prefer sonu nigam and arijit singh better
For ex no offense but i don't think udit narayan or Kumar sanu would singing would have made kal ho na ho or ae dil hai mushkil as soul touching as sonu and arijit made it. There something very enchanting about sonu and arijit s voice it strike a chord with your very being
Kumar Sanu was overused. So much so that by the end of the 90s one was tired. Ditto with Alka Yagnik. Arjit had better take care that they don't overuse him that much.Udit Narayan's voice has a slight nasal twang and reminds me of Mukesh's.But Sonu's is more technically perfect and more like Rafi's.
