18th March Written Update

Hey guys, Nishi wasn't able to do yesterdays update so I'm filling in....really sorry for the delay!😳

Highlights:

Update:

Uday and Rama try to walk past Ranbir who stops them and asks Rama where she had gone. Scared, she hesitantly replies and he furiously screams at her, asking if her son is more important to her than her husband before adding that he feels like throwing her out of the house as well. He also scolds Uday asking if this was how he had hoped to sort out his [Ranbir's problems]. Turning back to Rama, Ranbir demands to know whose permission she took before going to meet Abhay.

Dadiji comes in and sternly tells him that she had allowed Rama to go and meet Abhay. Ranbir blames Uday saying that he manipulated Dadi, Rama and him [Ranbir] to show them down. Rekha strides in and warns Ranbir not to blame her son for Abhay's doing. Her husband tries to intervene by saying that she should not forget that Ranbir is older; Rekha curtly replies that Ranbir should also act as if he's older and drags Uday away.

Later…

Rekha tries to knock some sense in to Uday, asking why he's running after someone like Abhay who has no sense and capability to look after the family and business. She tells him to stay out of Ranbir's family matters as this will only cause problems for him. Anjana agrees. Uday's dad looks disgusted but brightens up when Uday tells Rekha that he cares for her but at the same time can't see Ranbir, Rama and Abhay upset.

Dada/Dadi's room…

Dadaji is shocked and hurt at how the relationships between his sons and daughter-in-laws have turned out. Dadiji weeps and adds she has no idea how to support – Ranbir or Rama and asks her husband to come up with some solution. He replies that in such times the decision should be left to God.

Jaswant's house…

Lajwanti tries to persuade her father that they should leave as she doesn't like it here anymore. Jaswant replies that Ranbir had made a promise and ased for some time in which case they should stay – Lajwanti is not convinced; asking what Ranbir can do when his son has married someone else. However Jaswant is insistent that Ranbir should be given some time and leaves.

Rama's room…

Huma is consoling Rama who is upset at Ranbir's reaction and his difference to Abhay when she knows that in reality he cares for his son a lot. Huma agrees but adds that she [Rama] should have taken her instead as opposed to Uday. Rama in confused as Huma tells her that this gave Rekha a chance to taunt their family. Rama is stunned as she says that she never found any difference between Uday and Abhay and wonders why Rekha thinks so.

Later…

Uday is shown playing a tune on his own. Rama comes in and apologises for getting him in to trouble with Ranbir. He asks her if she's apologising as she sees him and Abhay differently. Rama is stunned and says that for her, Uday is her second son. Uday replies that in that case he doesn't regret going with her and if anyone believes this to be a mistake, then he is prepared to make this mistake over and over for her and Abhay. Rama looks affectionately at him as he smiles in return.

Kitchen…

One of the maids is lost in thought and doesn't pay attention to the bubbling milk. Another servant comes rushing in and switches of the cooker, scolding her and asking what she was thinking about. The maid replies that she was wondering if Abhay and his wife will ever be able to come back to the house. The servant says that he doesn't know as Ranbir's anger is infamous. However he's worried about Lajwanti as the poor girl is waiting in the guest house with only a thread of hope.

The maid however says that she wishes Abhay and his wife come to this house as Liza has more elegance and class and she'll also be able to improve her English. The servant teases her and tells her to stop living in her dream world and finish cooking quickly otherwise they'll be kicked out of their job.

Outside…

Ranbir is talking to Banwari and vehemently tells him that there is no way Abhay will be back in this house as he can live without a son. Banwari tries to calm him down and asks him how many sons does he have. He adds that the problem can be solved if Abhay is released from Liza's snare – this can be done. He tells Ranbir his plan in mute who becomes thoughtful before smiling.

Abhay's apartment…

Abhay walks in and is pleasantly surprised to see the whole place decorated with rose petals and candles. Liza walks in and says that she loves him. They share a cute moment a hug – Abhay is apologetic that he she hasn't been given the love she deserves but promises to give her the respect that she's entitled to as a wife as well as a bahu. Liza smiles and says that she trusts him.

She then whines that she's hungry. Abhay asks her whats he wants to eat. She smiles and cutely says 'Makke Da Saag aur Sarson Di Roti'. Abhay laughs and corrects her. She gets upset with him for taking the fun out of her and he makes up by singing a song to her. She gives in and smiles. Just then the doorbell rings and as Abhay orders the food; Liza opens the door and is shocked.

Highlights of todays epi ahd to be the Uday-Rama bonding as well as Abhay-Liza scenes....a must watch epi!😃
