Exactly...........they themselves know that any such move will give rise to riots....... but India does face a big issue of Bangladeshi illegal immigrants..........esp here in mumbai........ it's high time we put a stop to those immigrants so that mumbai has more space for its own citizen......... people who live outside mumbai will not realize how much issues we face due to this load of immigrants from Bangladesh..... now we are also chopping down trees to make more space for public transport for the public, but unfortunately nobody think of reducing the burden in other ways......... maybe this might help only.....

Criticism of Islam can exist simultaneously with Islamophobia. When you deny someone something others will get just because they are Muslim. That's islamophobic.

And India is an amalgamation of many cultures. Its not 'culturally' Hindu. You can't erase the others just like that. And even if you want to,sure. But the constitution is all that matters. Its secular and this Bill is islamophobic.

but there must be a reason for that........... as I said Mumbai faces a huge issue from Bangladeshi illegal immigrants who build slums all across mumbai, create fake id's and live here.. they even do goonda gardi, harassing the locals.............. we need something to counter that............

West Bengal too has the same problem. Mamta Didi gets Bangladeshis here so that her vote bank increases. So? Government should make sure immigration is halted from all fronts then. Why target only the Muslim immigrants? All they want is to counter the growing population of Muslims in India by giving citizenship to more all other religious immigrants. Population control measures? Zero. Immigration stricter laws? Zero. They are just in the business of turning muslims into second class citizens. Why should a Muslim immigrant who has lived a good civil life in India following all rules not get the same benefit as a Hindu or any other religious immigrant.

It's about immigrants from three countries who call themselves islamic nations..the religions given exemption are minorities there whose population has decreased considerably in last few years in their own countries..so when they seek help from India they can stay but not get all the rights of citizens ..and government is aware of their stay..but muslims who have come here to earn livelihood can always go back coz they r welcome in their own countries.

Edit: This in case of refugees..case will be different when they get citizenship

True..same problem here in my city..why should a country bear the burden of foreigners who live here, earn here and send the money to their relatives in their country? And then we complain of unemployment and poverty for our citizens ..itna hi unemployment hai to why r these people coming here to earn? Why do they say life here is better than there

Fear mongering is uncalled for. Indian citizens won't be affected. And why should we tolerate bangladeshis etc who comes here illegaly and ruin our peace , increase criminal activity? Rohingyas here r illegaly settled n causing crimes in my area in large number. State govt was trying to change demographic for their selfish reasons. Illegal documents were provided to them. India can't afford future risks and criminals for their own people. Easy for people to say things when they live in metro cities and won't be affected directly . Let govt find who r illegal here. Great bill indeed!

What about Muslims immigrants who have come here from religious persecution themselves? Where should they go. If they are illegally staying in this country when things are great for them in their home country then fine they can go back. But what about the ones who are facing persecution in their home countries? Why don't they get the same benefits as well. India mein toh Muslims are still a minority compared to the majority so why not add them to the list as well. Where will they go? Should they go back and get killed in their homeland?

India is merely resounding with the sweet sweet encore of "Tomorrow Belongs To Me"
