Now its obvious Paras, Shukla and Mahira knew Paras was leaving during nomination. Thats why Paras and Mahira werent upset about his nomination. Shehnaz wasnt told. Thats why she was upset and Mahira was trying to calm her down (Sid sochke karta hai) without openly telling the truth. After some time they must have told her and thats when God ki kasam and all were forgotten and she went to bed with Shukla.
