And yeah I find it hard to believe they’d not have contact especially considering mini visited 2-3 years ago and there was a flashback of her at NB house where she met Arya for the first time (also unbelievable cos surely HS would send her pic considering they spoke by phone and he told her about aryas birth). And somehow even tho babes realised mini was right, the two of them still didn’t meet when mini visited. I’d have thought babes would have went running to her.. but hey ho this is the story for now

Yes the restaurant might have not been constructed in a day ....plus no contact for what reason...when did these two have such a big fight...what went so wrong bet them or then evn that story they are just narrating ...as what happened between Babita and Mini while Mini left for me was just a tussle which is normal between a mother and daughter when a daughter does something against her mother’s wishes ....nothing so great as to impact such a sensitive bond ....very surprised by what they have shown ...do they don’t even think about what they are showing ....it seems this is not season 2 but season 3 and season two is needed in between as nothing is clear ....also why are they not even mentioning Micky ...they can atleast mention him ...and later decide whether to get him back or not ....

Agreed about Micky. The writers turned babita mean towards to end. I guess to justify mini leaving on a sour note. She behaved extremely out of character (the character we were introduced to anyways). She called mini her fathers daughter, wanted to move her to some village due to hs getting a promotion and needing to move. She wanted to marry her off after studies, burned a letter from ashok that was addressed to mini. It all got a bit crazy towards the end, they were fighting almost none stop. The new patiala babes restaurant seems different to the patiala babes shop that was more of a catering service. The restaurant is more of a sit down restaurant from the looks of things.

There’s a lot of fake news going around so idk if it’s true but I did see on Twitter that things ended on a sour note between pari and the production house (she was quite vocal in an interview after the axe that she was going to quit as she didn’t like the way her character was shaping up), so I guess that’s why they’ve not been able to shoot a proper send off as she refused to shoot the end of her character and so they’ve had to imply stuff. I guess this is why it feels like there’s a big gap in between

Idk why they just didn’t think to replace pari with an older actress for S2 -this would have seemed the sensible thing to do. Not that anyone could have replaced her she played the part perfectly till the writers went mad. I’m also very curious as to what happened to Micky. Hopefully when the dust settles for babita-hs deaths mini will ask preet about him

Mini and Babes did meet each other when Mini visited. She stayed at the haveli (obviously). They also talked to each other as NB mentioned on Friday’s Episode. They weren’t fighting when they met but they didn’t talk about what happened or about PB restaurant either. Also, I am sure Mini-Babes talked on the phone when Mini was in Australia, but I don’t think it was like deep talk and stuff. They are just trying to tell us that they had drifted apart (which Mini also wondered when talking to herself), and didn’t converse in a deep level as before.

Yup anyone in their situation would have talked about opening of a restaurant. That was a big deal for Babita and for Mini.

That you will have to ask the writers why they didn’t talk about it. It’s all done for drama sake 😆

Loll, it sucks how this is what the show boiled down to a year later. Making drama for the sake of drama. Not because it will serve a purpose for the story or the characters, but just for the heck of it.

Does anyone know which episode from last week mentioned that babita and mini spoke during the 5 years? I would like to rewatch it as I thought they DIDNT speak

The Friday one. NB said that whenever Mini came back, Babita and Mini would talk “idhar udhar ki batein”, meaning “random here and there talk”, and also said “ubhra ubhra pyar”, don’t know what that means exactly but I think it’s like “surface level love”. Basically, they didn’t talk on a deep level life before. Guess the dynamics changed after everything happened and none of them had the guts to actually talk about the real shit and sort the issues between them. Babita would say when Mini comes this time, I will tell her about the restaurant, take her there and stuff, but when Mini actually came she wouldn’t be able to say anything to her.

Also, speaking on the phone is my assumption that they did speak on the phone like “I am doing well”, stuff like that but never really “talked talked” about real stuff. When Mini picks up Babes’s call in Manali, it didn’t seem like they hadn’t talked for 5 years, she says “yes babes, tell me”. It seemed like they were in touch and would talk.

All of this doesn’t make sense at all. Mini’s actions, Babita’s actions, HS’s action. Nothing make sense.

Yes it went in a unexpected way ....it was not Babita but her clone who behaved badly ....if they had to ruin the story that atleast they should have done properly 😀 they should have got a replacement instead of showing something unbelievable...

As far as Micky goes ...he was not Khatri ke usko bhool jao ...he was part of every frame in S1 so not mentioning him even after 10 episodes are done is crazy ...and why Mini needs to Preet abt Micky ...she was close to him so not mentioning him till now makes no sense ...ideally he should have been shown in first episode or then atleast they could have shown that he is not in india ...but they just convincingly ignored him as they convincingly threw out Babita HS ... threw out is not a good word to use but that is what they did
