Sana is okay with all of this because they're pretty good friends now. Check in the earlier episodes, Sid has always respected her space. I feel that as long as the girl says okay, its fine.

As for the other situations: Asim-Himanshi and Paras-Mahi. Both girls have time to time expressed their discomfort with the guys actions. Now that is where an issue should be raised.

well the biting part is equally awkward to watch to be honest but thank goodness it’s not promoted a lot or shown a lot onscreen . But Shukla’s treatment of Shehnaaz is getting overboard like yesterday the way he pulled her down she got hurt as well and he didn’t even have the decency to say sorry.

jab miya biwi razi toh kya karega kazi. Sid likes to dominate her and wo bhi passand karti hai. infact she always tries to get this kind of attention from shukla.🤢

I know but I suspect some of the hate that Arhaan is receiving is due to his religion. The way Asim was called a terrorist after he went against Sid.

Not just what is shown in the episodes even in unseen undekha too. This so called masti is rather uncomfortable to watch. They are obviously not telecasting those clips because they feel it is not appropriate to telecast even for a show which is meant for 18+ adults.

It seems very inappropriate for me mainly because of the power equation between them.He is a well established TV personality a much older person and she, a youngster struggling to get an opening in the entertainment industry. She is hanging around him for the footage she can get out of it and he is well just using for entertainment purpose like a quid pro quo.

In the latest episode Rashmi Desai nailed it. Shefali Zariwala saying that Sana is upset because he saved Arti and she has a problem with Arti but Rashmi said Sana has a problem with everyone who gets close to Shukla because Sana's game revolves around him. It is very clear her only priority is Paras and she is clinging on to Shukla because of the game.

While there is nothing wrong in giving something in exchange for something the whole nature of this interactions between is a major put off.

But the most recent episode the way he was treating her like she is a ragdoll instead of flesh and blood human being is like crossing all the limits

Superb post.👍🏼

If a single man and single woman, both adults, with an unconventional age gap have evolved over a month to a unique consensual relationship, we have just three options here: deny its existence altogether, celebrate ageism and/ or bully those who who saw it coming and accepted them for who they are. In fact on another thread there are insinuations of women playing to the casting couch too! But we just can’t accept simple, straightforward love. That just can’t happen, eh? Love is inpossible on a reality show, eh? Loss of the age of innocence? Is there is a rule book on courtship? A rule book on how one should fall in love? Does every woman have to subscribe to the same kind of intimacy? Who are we to judge what a woman likes? Maybe she will flirt with him for a day or a show or her lifetime? Single woman. Take it or ignore.

And then there was this narrative the other day of how absurd it was of Rashmi to jump upon the love of her life Arhaan. I don’t know a thing about the guy. That notwithstanding, Rashmi was age shamed again citing women of her age were not expected to do that. She can’t jump like teens it was said! Er, what?! She can’t scramble at her man? She should control her emotions and excitement for whom and what? Are they in an emotional prison house to neglect themselves and ignore their feelings? The guy has been repeat shamed too using uncouth words. Really? We set the standards and boundaries for everything from love to women’s limits or lack of limits, eh?

For all the progressiveness we espouse, are we still expecting women to conform to society’s expectations heaped upon them to often end up projecting our own ultra conservative emotions on their behalf? In both cases, the reactions have been simply poor and the moral policing horrific.

And now, the final case of the one woman in the house who constantly holds up a literal placard of her engagement and her fiancé every single day she has been in there. She is relentlessly flirted at by a guy and that is monumentally forgiven or not a matter enough for discussion. Neither the kisses or hugs or anything else. Because, somehow this is consensual. And the other two are not. Go figure!

Moral voyeurs- Bravo ! I like this term.

Isn't it interesting that you can cast the worst kind of aspersions and insinuations on someones character as long as you take care to couch them in morally righteous platitudes.

Ha! Thanks. Right? Aspersions sinuously tucked away between swathes of moral codes, so much so that the muted flash hits and blinds while the truth is buried deep and shrouded.
