He does wear his heart on his sleeves. I feel like he has the ability to bare his soul without hesitation - that only comes from years of practice and immense confidence in your craft. I can only imagine where he'll get to in future.

I already told him I saw him playing Brando-esque characters with all that gravitas in a few years. Just you wait.

What are your other three? I know one of them is the balcony scene with Roshni.

Yeahh, he had mentioned something like that in the interview with Himanshu. He now has gotten to a point where he can talk about all the good times and bad. He may not want to focus on the bad but he won't deny that it didn't happen either. Moreover, he knows how to survive in the industry as well. So he can talk about the bad times without throwing mud on people. And if he made mistakes, then he's not scared of owning up to them.

Aahh, there's simply so much to learn from him.

Yeah. I have to think about the top 5 because I had to keep changing that list every few episodes as AD kept outdoing himself!!

Exactly, that interview with Himanshu said a lot about his character and I love that he can accept the bad things that happen, learn from them, and move on without letting them become overbearing. He's a role model in real life too.

Till the end of Nov? How did I miss that message?! Darn, I've been missing his social media activity but I understand that he wants some family time, needs to decompress, lose himself in the beautiful landscape, and recharge after everything that happened. Totally wish him all the best.

I know he will come back to Twitter as soon as he feels he's ready for it. It's been a roller coaster of a year for him and he defo needs a breather. I respect that. He said he wouldn't stay away for long periods anymore, like he did in the past, so I know he won't, and I suspect during PB he got used to interacting with fans regularly. I am sure he will miss us as much as we miss him.

For me it's those two and him coming home drunk when Babita sends Ashok away. The whole khaana portion was just 👏.

I can watch that interview over and over again, and never get tired! I feel like the more I watch it, the more I get to learn about him.

The dialogue about his Dadu saying that mann mein baat rakhne se shareer kamzor ho jaata hai or something... He had all his emotions in his eyes. I miss the drunk HS - we got some of his best scenes then.

Didn't know you loved the balcony scene with Imarti so much! I thought I was the only one. It's still one of those scenes that move me the same way each time, and one I can never really write about - the kind of art that cannot be analyzed, it's just meant to be experienced.

The scene where he tells Minnie about Imarti for the first time is also on my top 5. I can never get bored of it and find something new in it every time I watch it.

As for the interview, I think if I go back and watch it again I will probably pick up some nuances that I'd missed the first couple of times, just because I have become much more observant where AD is concerned. Himanshu had huge respect in his eyes and voice for AD during the entire chat. There's gotta be a reason for it.

He didn't like the Pankaj Tripathi one either. Perhaps he hasn't seen it or he thinks I'm making it up/it sounds too outlandish.

Yup!

He first tweeted it to a reply of mine during the #askani session (didn't see that one coming tbh, he just offered it up so there's that), and then he mentioned it again during the live. Idk if the silent mode was planned or it just happened but either way I think it's going to do a lot of good for him. It's going to be easier for him to get out of HS' character if he's not constantly reminded of him.

Idk, I guess I'm just waiting to hear official news of a new project or something so that we can have something to look forward to.
