Now let's talk about the desperation of being so chipku for Chris Martin at someone else's house that the host has to end it.

Poor Deepu must have been so sad that she her temple publicity stunt was already scheduled with the paparazzi and media at the same time as Katy's visit. Maybe KJo deliberately had it that day so there wouldn't be another Chris Martin incident. 😂

Deepika, Aamir etc just attend the parties, SRK and KJo go out of their way to host anyone and everyone.

I fail to understand what's wrong with hosting a celebrity from another industry. So what?

Anyone and everyone doesn't apply to Tim Cook and Reed Hastings. They're amongst the most powerful people in the world. They come because they want to build relationships with the Indian public. Celebrities also show up at the party for the same reason - they want to build relationships with the gora that is visiting and most wouldn't be able to do it on their own.

And Reed Hastings and Ted Sarandos have been to Mannat many times. They also meet for dinner at other places and Ted and his wife even went to visit Gauri's store. They work with Red Chillies so there is no big deal in it.
