I mean she has to live somewhere to do her iddat, lol, so why not with Shehwar. She seems to know no-one else in the world.

I do think that Shehwar is going to offer money to Danish or he's going to say something that's going to make him divorce Mehwish. I think he's going to insinuate something happened between him and Mehwish in Islamabad. Right now, Danish can deny anything happened and give himself false hope. But once Shehwar says it, Danish can't make it go away. And he has to say that line from the trailers I didn't enjoy: aurat bewafa nahi hoti blah blah.

Also, I'm going to admit that I still don't think Mehwish and Shehwar did the deed then. I think their relationship was highly inappropriate and boundaries were crossed, but they didn't actually have a physical relationship. Cheating is still cheating, ofc, but I don't think the last boundaries were crossed.

Wait, really? Interesting. In the dramas, they always end up at their parent's houses. Although, Sonia Mishal in that drama did her iddat with Mikael until her iddat was ended in the dramatic way it did.

I think the islamic divorce system is widely misunderstood even by muslims and misused.

If a man wants to divorce his wife. He shouldn't be intimate with her for one menstrual cycle then he says talaq and it's counted as one. She will still stay in house. And they can reconcile if they want to. Then 2nd divorce repeat the same but you can still reconcile but after 3rd divorce no reconciliation.

If you get intimate with her then you have to start again(refraining from being physical with her)

It's preferable for her to live in husband's house after 1st and/or 2nd divorce because it increases likelyhood of reconciliation.

It is possible ... Whatever Mehwish said about trust to Shawar could also mean that she trusts him and that is why she shared a room with him in Islamabad ...not necessarily that she slept with him

in that sense yes ... that would be reasonable ...but i dnt think many people are aware of this .. usually a man would divorce three times at once ...

It is still counted as one. I learned that a few years ago and my mind was blown!! The common man doesnt know unfortunately 😔

yeah idk why its shown like that its supposed to be spent in the place where the divorce is given
