Life does change for a daughter when a man comes into the mother's life. Would be the same for the mother as well, if a man entered the daughter's life. But, parents expect their kids to have life partners, so the eventuality is not out of the blue. But for kids, knowing they are not the only ones in their parents' lives takes some getting used to. Parents have their own desires and wants too. But sometimes, they devote their lives wholly to their kids! It isn't wrong to be otherwise. Here, Mini is grown up. Babita is independent now. Mini should have focused more on her life, become more independent, focused less on Babita's life. Then HS and the marriage wouldn't have been this severe. Suddenly, you can't have your mother sleeping elsewhere, or your uncle wanting to be with her alone. Could have happened during the engagement period.

There are a lot of things they should have done but unfortunately didn't. Not rushing into this marriage was a big one. They should have given themselves more time to know one another, understand what they expect from each other when these dynamics change or what they want from each other in the future as a family. And yet, they did nothing.

Exactly what I feel. They're all feeling so isolated and frustrated. Kaise samjhenge ek dusre ko?

When we are frustrated with each other, we stop talking. We come out each other's zones and then wait till we find our way back. Why can't they do this? Mat baat karo abhi. Phir jab akelapann lage then start talking and solving issues.

Now, though he has gotten that authority, I don't think he has the confidence to go through with it. After all, how can he kick out his jigad ka thukda?

It's not fair to put these kind of conditions on the child, but you have to take a look at what is being asked her. Babita doesn't want a guy to stay over at the house, and HS doesn't want Minnie to storm off angrily, nor have heated arguments with her mom anymore. These requests aren't unreasonable. If Minnie thinks by asking this of her, they've asked the world from her... then I don't know what to say about her.

well it wasnt exactly mini only who lashed out at her mother. babita at first behaved that way. so no ultimatum to her not to insult Mini like that or ultimatums are only for children because nothing is theirs not the house and not the money they survive on.

Who's parent is perfect? No one. Babita has failed to trust in her more than once but I don't see her saying that Babita failed to become her mother.

its babitas character she dosent trust anybody. This whole ma beti relation is flawed from beginning with mini being the one supporting babita. But mini expects better from HS. He expects him to understand her, be the parent Babita never was. If not even a parent she expects him to be her hero her mentor.

the fact that he needed proof to trust her is big. And her question is valid would he have continued mistrusting her if the proof had not come. 2 days he dint bother to sit down and ask her about what happened. why was he preoccupied with babita where as mini was the one who first needed attention. Heck he was so exited going for honeymoon also without sorting it out with mini. why on earth HS the one who kept mini first would be so exited for HM without speaking to mini about CD issue. i dont believe he would have spoken to her had the proofs not come in.

I dont understand HS if he is the father of the house then ultimatums should not only be for mini should be for babita also. Babita cant just call mini the other woman and get away with it. If mini is being given ultimatums for staying in the house to not argue with her mother the babita must also be made to understand that she cannot lash out at mini like this and expect her to break friendships because she dosent want to hear taunts. It has to be two way cannot be one way.

no it was her love. she was so upset about her hero being called a murderer. She wanted to trust him look up to him and HS was telling he is guilty. it broke her. it was her love and respect for him that he trusted him. not return of an ehsaan.

When my hubby was alive my kid always used to listen what he said. My hubby was a soft hearted person, but still my son used to respect his words because he knew his dad was a no nonsense person. And as usual like most of the kids do, i was taken for granted by my son.

Even today sometimes when i am not able to deal with my son or have some argument like all parent and teenage kid do, i really start missing my hubby for i feel that my son wouldnt have argued with his dad like he does with me. My son is a well mannered child but sometimes a fathers disciplined attitude is needed somewhere because when kids are teenagers they feel the world is against them and no one understands them and to prove their point is right they argue to no end😆

I know what you mean and so I think what HS is doing is required for both the kids in his house.

It was long overdue. Naram approach doesn't work with maa-beti, woh dono sar pe chadh jaate hain.
