I never thought that HS could've called Minnie his daughter for Babita's sake and that Minnie knew of this. Even though the CVs have taken this route, I feel there's hope for Hannie.

I'm sure during the omelette scene they were truly like father-daughter. Even when she stood by him and didn't leave with her mother during the court case, she was a typical daughter standing by her father. Remember when she woke him up so cutely, pressed his clothes, etc?

HS has been everything a father is for a child. Waking up early morning for training sessions. Being there for every single problem of hers. Hell, he gave up drinking for her. Him losing his everything in the hospital. That's just the tip of the iceberg with these two.

The highlights for today's episode, personally, were when Minnie said that for her the lines had started blurring. She had started believing that they are father daughter. HS on the other hand says koshish ki thi. To become her father.

Right now both of them are stuck in a vortex of their own thoughts and what they believe is the truth. CVs ek acha sa meaningful conversation de do please between them? About them! Not about Babita! Please.

The love is there, and the optimist in me feels they are father and daughter, but they don't realize it or haven't come to terms with it because they are affected by labels or the need to conform to what this bond means.

They are both insecure about each other - still HS thinks she doesn't want him and she thinks he doesn't accept her as a daughter. He loves her like his daughter but knows he hasn't become her father yet.

Or, it might be that she had thought he would be different than Babes. Babes bina baat pe uss par shaq karti rehti hai. Without thinking things through, she'll yell at her, slap her, kuch bhi. She had thought that considering all the time they have spent together, that at least he would see her differently. That he understood her as an individual, just like Mickey does. But chalo shaq kar bhi liya, aur ghusse mein kuch bol bhi diya, but he didn't come to speak to her about it later. He only touched the subject when he got proof that he was wrong. I had questioned this before too: had the correct CD not arrived, would he have continued to believe that Minnie really did such a thing? Would he have ever spoken to her about it or would they have carried on living in their own hurt and pain?

@bold, I'd like to think he would but the CVs messed up the story for the sake of drama. The CDs arrived only a couple of days after the wedding. He would not have let it hang for long, but now we'll never know.

There is no way a person like HS who loves a kid, his kid and just lets her suffer in silence. He's seen enough trauma in his childhood to notice that and he's a generous person but he wouldn't continue to let Minnie be upset - it would indeed upset him.

As for Minnie expecting all that from HS - well, they haven't talked about it, plus she herself doesn't know what she wants in a father (although it was clear today that she yearned for one, for him especially). She cannot expect HS and Babita to be at the same level of understanding regarding her. He has 17 years of catching up to do. He made big mistake but was sincere about his apology.

Because she trusted him not as a father but as a hero, as a superhuman who makes no mistakes. That's the crux of the problem.

Who's parent is perfect? No one. Babita has failed to trust in her more than once but I don't see her saying that Babita failed to become her mother.

no dear dont take the episode negatively. Just ďreaming hannie is a myth. To make hannie into reality takes a lot of effort and patience from all the parties involved and thats the truth of life and that is what i got from todays episode.

He said he tried but couldn't not because he himself couldn't but because his attempts were not seen as good enough for mother or daughter. And he's damn frustrated.
