My hubby was a very nice kind person who really loved and respected me (he passed away at an young age) so for his sake i just gave in for a few months till i got married. My jethani who is some what like babita used to meekly follow the rules put forward by my MIL. After one month of my marriage i slowly started saying no to many rules along with the reason and took my stand. And also told my husband i am not ekta kapoor bahu nor i want mahaan bahu certificate. Give me respect i will give double of that. My MiL stays with me but she also knows that i am not the one who can be manipulated. Even my sister in law to some extent has learned a lesson however hard ahe tries she can never live upto other peoples standard.

I love reading your posts and insight. You are so strong. You not only stood for yourself but you made your jethani stand up for herself too.

And yet you take care of your MiL.

Really. This is for you. 👏

I'm sure they will get settled soon. As my family says, everything eventually falls into place. ❤️ Apna time aayega. 😆

She needs to show her maternal affection after a massive blow like that. Oh, I would love to hear HS talking about NB's place in his life. We all know it but want to hear him say it. Just thinking about it is giving me the feels. Nothing else would cool my andar ki aag that's making me want to beat Irfan up.

OMG this is just a show, and I'm getting so angry. 😆

Just give Naeem Bi allll the love!!!! ❤❤❤

In many ways, Naeem Bi knows it too. But there's just something about hearing what you mean to someone, especially when things are going tought for you. It not only confirms the love that's already in your life, but it also to some respect, lessens the pain you've received.

Loll, now you know how I was feeling in the past 3-4 days. 😆 It just has a way of getting under your skin and making you feel something extremely powerful.

She and her mother both struck a pot of gold with HS. ❤️

I mean, I still love it when he calls her chhori, but beta sounded so sweet.. Also loved the way he pulled her arm and tried to stop her but looked at her in that furious state in major surprise... Then tried to do the countdown...

I am wondering if he indeed will punish her and send her out of the house one day like the had said he would if she lost her temper like that and misbehaved. This time it's with Khatri but if he ever sees her misbehaving with Babita or worse still, with him, phir to Minnie ki shaamat aani hai. I love those disciplining scenes by the way. HS being all strict can be quite scary.

If you've ever watched Crime Patrol, you'll know what I'm saying.

No I don't watch it. LOL!

@not in an angry mode but used to keep saying it from time to time to remind people that accept me the way i am and so that they dont become unreasonable with their demand. I also keep on telling my teenage son not to see me as his mahaan mother as i am human and can err too.

That makes HS so red. She should say this in front of Babes. Sharma Sharma ke dono lal hone hai.

smiley37 Oh that!

I don't want Babita in this conversation though. It should be just between HS and NB.

Babita has already seen him in just his kachhe.

It's too bad we won't have any more funny scenes of him bathing.

Hmm, I'll have to check it out again. I was pretty upset by that day's episode.

Besides, dunno if she worked before Imraan was born. And then obviously when he was, she got busy in him. Par phir woh school jaane lag gaya aur Ruksana akeli par gayi. 🤔

True, she needs it soon. Her breakdown is imminent and I don't see the senior Khuranas disciplining her either.

Today she refused to listen to HS and stormed off on her bike. I don't know why he didn't stop her or reprimand her for not listening to him. In fact I also don't get why he let her drive off in that state.

Something's up with him.

Scary AND necessary. And the way she just gives in to his authority is absolutely brilliant and lovely to watch (even if she wants to throw a tantrum under the surface). Earlier, she had to be bold and speak out against injustice. Now she doesn't require to do so. She has a loving set of parents and ever her NB daadi on her side (in fact, even Ks).

Can our Minnie please be a child for once in her life? I really want HS to carry out all the promises he spoke of before the wedding. The Karate training, scolding her, making her focus on her studies (though not making her a policewoman maybe 😆).
