Is hiking his price the reason Shahid doesn't have any new films?

Its been like more than 3 months since Kabir Singh but Shahid hasn't signed any new movie.

He has claimed he is taking time to decide his next venture but reports of his hiking his salary to an astonishing rate could possibly be a reason why he doesn't have any new movie.

Producers would might be hesitant to sign him with a huge pay check understanding that there were lot of other factors responsible for success of his last movie.

Is he actually taking his time willingly to sign any movie or his demands have resulted in producers shying away from approaching him?

He not just increased his pay scale, but now following Aamir & Ranveer's foot steps. Now he want to do only movies which can hold upto or surpass Kabir Singh in terms of fame and collections.

Dharma, YRF, NG is not interested upon him. Only big festival movies from there houses can have some hope to surpass Kabir Singh.

He has already tried Vishal Bhardwaj kind of cinemas where he couldn't get fame and money like Kabir Singh. And currently small movie makers like him, Anand Rai, etc can't afford his hiked pay scale.

So currently, he is out of work.

Kabir Singh is a wonder it wont be repeated again!!! just like URI

He can still give hits like Ayushman khurrana but Shahid has a much bigger ego
