I REFUSE to believe both of them are VILLAINS. It's a subjective TERM.

Abhi Pagalpan dekha hi kahan hai

Let's Unleash the pagalpan.

If you go back to their scenes Baj Raj. It has always been A being astounded by the LEVEL of chills Bajju is CAPABLE of. Most of their scenes have that UNDERCURRENT. They have a battle of WORDS and Anurag is left bereft of the LEVEL of SHREWDNESS BAJAJ has all the time.

Anurag, as they say, is a PURE SOUL, his boundaries have BLURRED due to DESOLATION and haplessness in LOVE.

'HE IS LOST', as Prerna says

Bajaj on the other hand, 'I AM NOT A SAINT'. This is his CONSTANT ARC.

There are no saints and sinners in REAL life. I wish we enjoyed stories more than just GOOD VS EVIL.

I didnt use this term dear, it was used by the tm.

For me it's very simple. A person who seeks pleasure in seeing blood and death has serious mental disorder. Anurag doesnt kill people.

I dunno what does everyone get by comparing the two ..Anurag did mistakes so he doesn't equal bajaj ...two characters are totally different ..they made it hero vs villain only...if they did such a thing with anurag I would have quit watching yesterday....I would like to watch a few more episodes to see what they plan to do with bajaj because yesterday they suddenly turned him into an animal from a human...there is no trace of old bajaj in this....this "everyone acts as per my wish" is more godlike ..whoever challenges him faces his wrath ..means tomorrow prerna also will hear "die sharma" if she takes up mission bajaj? Sharmas ? Can this man love anyone unless he has a spilt personality disorder ?

Well said Charu I seriously don't understand why Bajaj being shown as an evil character who presumes himself to be a God is hurting so much? Isn't that what he has been shown to be in ydays episode? I would rather label him a pure black character rather than grey for the simple reason that he decided to kill Anurag knowing that he was planning a stupid minor accident just to gain his lovers attention. He clearly said yday that he wanted him to die so isnt that a planned murder from him. He even accepted that he was pleased to see him fighting for his life after the accident.

That was a ridiculous step on the part of Anurag and we as his fans openly accept and condemn that. He deserves to be punished for that but no still the so called grey character isn't letting that happen as he plans to use that against him whenever he intends to do so.

So basically he is living in a delusion that everything and everyone can be controlled and he will get whatever he wants to. Such people really need psychological counselling as they might be dangerous for the society if anything happens against their plan they may end up harming anyone. I must say that the actor playing the role is doing a brilliant job in portraying this obsession and slight psychotic aspect to his character owing to his disturbing childhood memories.

But having a terrible past doesn't give anyone the free pass to go and destroy others. And no-one is God equivalent in the real world and the Almighty hasn't given these powers to anyone.

Regarding Anurag being labelled a villain I accept he was wrong in planning his accident but he never went around destroying others lives. He risked his life to get back his life.... his Prerna...

Rest I would say everyone is entitled to have their own opinion. Nice discussion here 👍🏼

Yes, both are villians.....to each other!

But story wise IMO they are poles apart on the "villain" scale.

But lets all keep generalizing and ignore details to keep the fan girl in us happy. Ekta is Ok as long as we draw your own conclusions and make our fav as great and god like as we can....after all it gives so much credit to a bunch of CVs that we all rant about for showing garbage on screen...such a dichotomy isn't it but who cares? Ekta must be highly amused.

Anu is a villain because he tried to best the great Bajaj who suddenly asmasey thapkar uskey life key peechey palhgayahey with no provocation and its all good because.... boohoo... he had a sad childhood and is now maybe a psychotic 44 year old?

While Bajaj is good for doing all that to Anu because Bajaj loves his own family?

Man I have grown a serious aversion to "grey" heros like never before. 🤢

Anurag case reminds me of Daenerys Targaryen (of course Dany is iconic and i’m not saying they both are on the same page). People saw her as hero, but she was always hero from the other side. She killed people, burned them actually but majority always saw her as hero until the bell episode. While she was always grey but people refuse to see that because they were blinded by her initial goodness. And then viewers were shocked how can she burn people? But she has been doing that since season 1. Though she was much complex character. She did everything because she thought it’s what they deserve and for what she thought was hers (sounds like Bajaj and Anurag both)

Anurag was a white character once(the keyword) but he’s not anymore. His whites are grey now and may turn in to darker shades of grey soon.

Correct. That said, I am not justifying whatever Bajaj did, but that's what he does. Blaming the guy who hates A for the hatred is futile. But A isn't as white as shown. I actually felt SO bad for A during the weekend, genuinely after Friday, coz they are doing this to him, and now Bajaj is being pounced upon like a pack of wolves. That idk if I need to feel bad for A at all.

Simple its tit for tat. When someone ruined some one life.. without his fault purposely..no one can be saint after that. I am not being blind..after Pre and Bajaj deed..malw lead has every right to behave as he is behaving right now. Unless he sexually or physically hurt her for me.. I am full on support of him. I do want him to leave her but loving it how he is giving back to Bajaj by doing small annoying things.

Frankly no 1 is perfect in life too but it depend on what kind of deed you have carried out defriciate human being. For me takeing his wife..child purposely is way sinner the way he is acting right now.

So until he physically sexually doesnot hurt her..I am full on support on him.. Man is no saint just 2019 man..who dont act victim and gives it back to face then behind the back. Actually I am soo happy that s2 Male lead is pole apart from s1.. where he is not perfect but dont act perfect too..who have dignity still intact.

Look its the comparison that is being refuted by most as far as I can see.

Anu displaying one vice against someone who had been after him and then married his fiance on the day he was supposed to marry the said fiancee does not make Bajaj a good guy by any means and puts on the same scale as Bajaj as of now. So Anu thinking the worst of Bajaj without even knowing Bajaj withholding that CCTV footage to trap him for murder charges or using that evidence to trap Pre in marriage to him need not be taken into account for Anu to think Bajaj is a bad guy.

And a white character being given a vice like wrath to mix up with the rest of his character traits which are on the heroic side does not make him a villain by any means. If you will the simple good average guy we know in real life is actually grey in terms of characterization, because we all fall prey to one of the seven deadly sins sometimes but the difference is not letting those sins consume us which makes one a danger to random people out there.

Bajaj is currently on such a trend and it looks like they have added clinical psychosis to his characterization. His most basic traits shown so far are that of grandiosity (having god complex), immense pride, abuse of power, feeling pleasure at causing harm to others (the famous "badnami mey nashey hey" and all that jazz till now) and now actually trying to kill Anu....all these are not simply grey...All these are traits used by writers to bring out the different categories of villains...namely evil villains, insane villains and to some extent envious villains because he showed envy towards Anu having a good childhood and having a loving family and a love like Pre and to secure it he could go to any lengths. The only think they haven't shown with Bajaj so far is the trait of an ethical villain where such characters follow ethics and duty to the detriment of others like religious fanatics and organized institutions like army and such.....

Thus, IMO there is a huge generalization if we say Anu and Bajaj both are villians. The proof is in the pudding if only one would look at the details.
