Anurag is a villain because he tried to send bajaj behind bars . Bajaj is a villain because he tried to kill anurag for being a "housefly"😆 therein lies the difference. Normal people don't 'kill those who are a trouble..except for p p p p p prerna types. That's what was said for anurag also I think..I am all for a ruthless egoistic gray character but not a psycho personality..he can't be permanent then

They always end up turning them into full black

story-wise, the stark contrast between two people is deliberate.

Both are EMOTIONAL, but one is CALCULATED, MEASURED AND RESTRAINED, another is IMPULSIVE, IRRATIONAL and incapable of a bigger game plan.

So, it's not GOOD VS EVIL

It's SHARPNESS vs SORT-SIGHTEDNESS

Both are driven by the SAME motive. but, their MODUS OPERANDI is DIFFERENT.

We as human beings are absolutely animalistic when it comes to the matters of our hearts and rights. The level of BRUTALITY we are capable of is SURREAL.

We do not UNDERSTAND where boundaries BLUR.

Like Anurag is believed to be doing the WRONG things but he is portrayed as NOT THE BAD MAN, similarly, BAJAJ is believed to be soft-hearted when it comes to his own people BUT HE IS NO SAINT.

The boundaries BLUR with most of the characters.

Who decides what is WRONG and right?

Charu, I am quoting you because I love our interactions. I think Villian is a HIGHLY Bollywood-istic Notion which has been DRILLED into our brains so hard and fast.

I REFUSE to believe both of them are VILLAINS. It's a subjective TERM.

If you go back to their scenes Baj Raj. It has always been A being astounded by the LEVEL of chills Bajju is CAPABLE of. Most of their scenes have that UNDERCURRENT. They have a battle of WORDS and Anurag is left bereft of the LEVEL of SHREWDNESS BAJAJ has all the time.

Anurag, as they say, is a PURE SOUL, his boundaries have BLURRED due to DESOLATION and haplessness in LOVE.

Bajaj on the other hand, 'I AM NOT A SAINT'. This is his CONSTANT ARC.

There are no saints and sinners in REAL life. I wish we enjoyed stories more than just GOOD VS EVIL.

Anurag never ever was a positive character. jabbhi situation uske against jate hai he turned as psycho and behave weirdly.

here bajaj had abusive childhood and he had bad issue with basus .. in that situation if he behaved like a phychee for a sec it could be justify from his grey shaded character .

Yes no one is saint here, no one is perfect all have flaws and all plays dirty games the difference is bajaj cannot be beaten and the other guy cannot win against bajaj simple as that.

Coming to grey shades Indian audience don’t understand that there is another shades beside black and grey so they portrays grey has evil devil nothing new. I like grey shades little dark shades since I had seen other shows character which was grey for instance RK. Shows like TVD, gossip girl, TO those characters were not saint nor perfect all had greyness in them some little dark some not.

These two acts are not the same.

What Anurag did is similar to what Bajaj did regarding the factory incident where anurag was framed for a murder he didn't commit. Bajaj withheld information that proved anurag innocence and created a circumstance where an innocent man would be charged with murder. Similarly anurag created a circumstance where Bajaj would've been blamed for anurag's accident. These two are the parallels.

Bajaj tried to KILL anurag. When he heard anurag planning a relatively minor accident with an intention of showing prerna how ruthless her husband is, bajaj decided to use that as a chance to actually murder anurag and get him out of prernas life forever.

The two are not even in the same sphere anymore. They just cannot be compared.
