Do you think the recent actors are lame

Do you think the younger crop of actors are quite lame

Like just meh..

I mean, I feel they havent struggled enough to get there.. or I feel they dont give films that much importance..

They just have put efforts to get 6 pac and weight loss or nose jobs etc..

but there is no mystery and aura or excitement about them..

just feels like bunch of youtubers or instagrammers trying their luck.

maybe due to over exposure in every media platform.

I think Aryan Khan has some sort of mystery around him and if he choses to debut, then that would be cool..

But rest all...

I think generation by generation, the acting industry has lost its charm ..

Like compare someone like Madhubala and now ananya pandey.. Or Dev Anand and Tiger Shroff

The graph has slipped so bad. ..its in the negatives now

We need to get back that charm and interest of BW again.

You are acting as if tiger Shroff is the only actor in this generation.

Seriously Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Vicky Kaushal and even the likes of Varun, Ayushmann and so on out on a lot of work in their acting, body language of the role and so on.

You don't get charmed by new actors because you are no longer that age anymore.

Also nowadays there is so much exposure about their real life, a person may get charmed by say Ranbir Kapoor in WUS or YJHD, and than goes to internet to search about him, and finds out he is a fcukboi, charm toh phir Gaya na taail Lene.

What mystery does aryan has ? Duh !Because he is ur fav actor’s son so he has some mystery around him ? 😆

His life is as open as other star kids ..like he is friends with navya nanda and how his Lip kissing MMS got viral ....

Not favouring him.

I just feel he has a mystery because I havent seen much about him in social media etc and he has always been abroad

I get you.. that silver-screen charm and some sort of surrealistic presence on-screen is more appealing.. but I guess cinema is itself changing and it's not the actor's fault, it's film-making that should be blamed.. I really feel cinema, acting, audience, film-making is changing at large.. and actors still work hard, everyone works very hard.. I would think this is a phase.

And, when we compare kids of this day to people of the 50s.. we are comparing acting form that was more theatrical and dramatic, to acting which in present day has toned down a lot, it's more oriented towards realism.. You don't see actors today acting like theater artists, acting as an art form also has changed as has film-making.. I enjoy both as long as it's good.. and there are excellent actors even today, not defending any young actors as IDK what they're like, but just my thoughts on cinema in general.. 😃 ..it's fascinating to observe how cinema has changed over the past century.

So, anyway, this is more to do with film-making as a whole, actors just do what directors say or script demands of them :)

I think actresses wise things have definitely gotten worse..just look at the actresses that debuted after 2010 and compare them with the one's in the 90's or 2000's and it's obvious

Only Vidya/Kangana are actually "acting" post 2010.
