Yes she got another chance by associating with Salman, who has links to BW industry and his father who is a well known writer. Is it not common sense to associate oneself with a person who has connections and knows the industry very well.

Anyways congrats to Katrina for lasting and becoming a household name in a foreign country and industry.

Deepika, Anushka were launched big by Shakukh. They would not have hit high in their career so early, if they were launched by Anurag Kashyap. Yes, they were lucky that Sharukh did not expect anything in return.

If Salman expected that from Katrina, we cannot blame Katrina. Many new comers have gone through this. (Not only with Salman). None of those faces (including the ones introduced by Salman) left the same impact as Kat.

I cannot comment too much on her acting. (Have not watched any recent films). But her dialogue delivery in Bharat trailer was quite impressive. It is much better than Deepika and Kangana.

Difference both DP and Anushka didn't keep relying on SRK..unlike Katrina who can't get a hit without him at this point

They didn't leave the same impact because Katrina is hotter and has a unique appeal (fair skin).

Also lol her performance in Bharat was bad..not believable at all as the desi girl. Ridiculous to say her delivery is better than DP and especially Kangana. Katrina's medicore performances are only praised because she used to be so bad before

Actually people forget that BOOM had the biggest superstar AB Sr also...I mean who wouldn't have been misled into thinking that it would be a good movie if AB Sr is doing it. I haven't seen the movie but watched some pics that people post here from time to time to shame Kat..and its disgusting to say the least...but then again who would have thought if AB Sr was also there.

Bhai ......star putra...star ki GF ...star ka spouse hone ka koi fayada nahi hai if the audience doesn't accept you...its that simple....People in BW don't put their money on losers.....Katrina got work because she had the potential...warna....line laga rakhi hai Bhai ne sabko launch kar kar ke......sab dhool chaat rahe hain..

True, I did say it's not the only reason. Katrina being hot in a unique way (she stands out compared to all other BW actresses), being a good dancer and having good screen presence are the other reasons.

It wasn't just Salman Khan but he did help her at critical points and saved her career at least two times, once after Boom (debut disaster) and then again after multiple movies of her flopped with TZH.

Before that movie she had like 4 big flops in a row
