I have to say that her role in raajneeti was what really made me give her a chance. She brought so much innocence and yearning into that role, that it caught my attention.

That was one of the few times she at least tried (I also thought she was solid in Ajab prem ki ghazab kahani), most of the time she just doesn't seem to care and her only job is to look hot and dance well.

Raajneeti was almost 10 years ago and the only time after that she seemed to try was Zero..which is quite disappointing.

Congrats Kat. You surely have the quality to win hearts...

I mean apart from Salman's movies her last big success was Dhoom 3 where she had like a 20 minute role..Salman also launched her again after the Boom disaster. I don't think you can talk about Katrina's career without mentioning Salman's importance

She should own Boom. Even if its a "mistake". It's just shows how significant her journey has been. The fact that she sustained for so long without being a great actress is commendable. And honestly, Katrina has grown leaps and bounds as a person. I love her offscreen attitude.

Congratulations to Katrina. She achieved this through persistence, good behaviour, hard work. She connected with audience and survived.

If a new comer (non industry person) has to get noticed by “every one”, they need to associated to a known name.

Deepika, Anushka were launched big by Shakukh. They would not have hit high in their career so early, if they were launched by Anurag Kashyap. Yes, they were lucky that Sharukh did not expect anything in return.

If Salman expected that from Katrina, we cannot blame Katrina. Many new comers have gone through this. (Not only with Salman). None of those faces (including the ones introduced by Salman) left the same impact as Kat.

I cannot comment too much on her acting. (Have not watched any recent films). But her dialogue delivery in Bharat trailer was quite impressive. It is much better than Deepika and Kangana.
