Wondering, how Anurag didn't understand this, or is he just pretending that he didn't notice this.

Love makes you foolish😆

Part 2- Disaster

Coming to a halt right in front of reception desk, she attracted everyone's gaze. All of them stared thoroughly impressed by the intricate work on her dress and it's oddness originating from it being a traditional attire. She paid heed to none and addressed the blonde woman behind the desk, her henna painted palms tightly pressing the edges of the oak .

"Mr. Bajaj?!" She asked, her voice eager and commanding.

The receptionist gave the decked up woman a curious look, awaiting words that would follow the name uttered.

Prerna clicked her tongue. There was no time.

"I want Mr. Bajaj's room number...full name, Rishabh Bajaj..." his name rolled off her tongue in a manner so fond that her heart fluttered under the effect.

"Apologies ma'am but I am not authorised to--

"I am his wife!" Prerna lied through her teeth unintentionally as the woman nodded, her expressions puzzled but nonetheless looked up his name in the records and divulged his room number to Prerna.

As she saw the woman dash away, she stared curiously. She had seen this one with some other man. And the man she had claimed her husband...she positively remembered seeing him escort another. What a bewilderment! But then she was paid to work and not poke her nose in.

She ran as fast as the circumference of her heavy lehenga allowed. Her head reeled with dizziness as her heart pounded wildly, her breathing jumped up and down in her throat as her body issued a vehement demand for oxygen. She just brushed them off.

She had seen him in the evening, playing snow with a woman so gorgeous that she was affirmative that all the men in the world had to be pimps save for him. No wonder!

His carefree smile bestowed to that stranger had set her cardiac muscles into a twist.

And Miss gorgeous had her fingers almost snapped like twigs when she had dared to pinch his cheeks as they had been dented with dimples. In her dreams.

Tch. Too bad!

Overall, her trip early that day had been an utter downer. As Anurag had eagerly engaged himself in making of a snow man, she had found her treacherous eyes by shear force of gravity stuck on Rishabh who engaged the woman in his company with his words. The stretch of her lips had been a proof enough!

That insolent man! How could he?! He hadn't seen her once even in his peripheral vision! Impossible. He had eyes that qualified for high tech satellites. And still! He just didn't care enough to acknowledge her presence!

Whizzing past a door, she stopped suddenly and taking a step back verified the card number. Affirmative.

Sliding the card, she carefully stepped inside. She needed answers. And will force them out of his throat if he refused!

However the wheels turning in her head choked halfway as she registered the familiarity of her surroundings. Puzzled, she turned on her heels only to loose her balance and collide against the table. Her eyes widened as she recalled pushing him back and lashing out at him for being inappropriate.

It was their honeymoon suite!

That damned Rishabh! Thread holding her patience burned to crisp in face of her renewed ire as she turned the corner of room to enter the hallway leading to the master bedroom. He had to be there. And if she was to see him in bed with anot--

He'd better be prepared for he'd never survive the wrath she'll unleash!

Without wasting another hot wisp of air, she marched up to the door and pushed it open as it gave in to the force of her hands and she stepped inside.

He looked up from the book he was reading and tilted his head slightly in mock amusement.

Her fingers clenched tightly around the hilt of the large wooden door as her gaze flickered towards the right corner of the four post bed where the familiarly stranger woman in a skimpy red lacy nightgown was sprawled, almost wantonly.

"To what"

Her gaze shifted of its own volition to the man who was now picking his shirt off the floor as his biceps flexed, and was soon approaching her as he slipped his hands into the sleeves.

"Do I owe the pleasure of your company, Mrs Ba...Basu?" He raised a bushy brow in query whilst his eyes drank her appearance.

Her chest was heaving wildly as if a monster had been chasing after her. Her sindoor was slightly smeared over her forehead and her dupatta had almost slipped off her shoulder revealing the low cut zari work blouse.

The anger that, she was sure would have throttled him senseless, dug itself a grave as her hands fell limp to her sides in realization.

Rishabh zeroed in on her like a sly predator, stopping a feet away as he gave her a once over.

"I fail to grasp why my sharp eyes deceive me with your image, Prerna when you certainly can't be here on yours and Mr Basu's wedding night?!" He asked squinting his eyes in mockery. His calculations never fail.

"You maybe in love with her, but not me Rishi!" The brunette shrugged as she slipped up to support her back against the headrest, making no effort to conceal the flesh on display.

Rishabh chuckled. "And I thought I am hallucinating! Thanks, Sam".

Oh.

Prerna no more spared her thoughts on the aforementioned Sam, Rishabh's words playing in a loop in her mind. It was her wedding night. She was so lost in her dilemma that not once did she ask, how did he know?

It was her wedding night. Why was she here? Why?

"We....need to talk" Prerna mumbled in a haze, sense of urgency creeping up as she crumpled her lehenga between fingers of her left hand, dread seeping through her veins and reality sinking in. Way worse than Titanic.

What had she done?!

Rishabh nodded as he stepped out of the room, his fingers quickly working up the buttons as Prerna followed suit, her gaze far off in the distance.

Taking her seat on the sofa, her ears vibrated with the rhythmic motion of time and she turned her face to see the small arm dangling near 12 with it's elder in tow. And soon her surroundings shifted..

One hour earlier

Prerna checked her watch to realize it was already 11.

She sighed and looked around the room carefully. The ambience and mood lighting were just apt with aroma of scented candles paving their path into her head. And another two creases grazed her forehead as she rubbed the lines off fervently. The aroma was nauseating! The soft music playing as the background score made her desperately wish for her heart to be lulled into peace and slumber, which currently was erratically creating a havoc in her chest.

The jewellery felt way more heavy than her economics books and she groaned again. It was her wedding night. Anurag and her's wedding night. A total 8 days after their phera as the pandit had recommended. Anurag was more than willing to wait a bit more if it meant longevity of their relationship.

And for her, she couldn't care less. Yes. Standing on the threshold beyond which a new life awaited, the kind she had envisioned for the longest time, the only emotion she felt was foreboding. A disturbing one.

She should have been nervous and excited exactly the way she had been when they were to be married before the fiasco with Rishabh. She tried hard to visualize how it would feel to see Anurag undress to reveal his lean yet chiseled frame. She tried hard to ignite her senses with the the feelings of high they will soon be indulging in. And the result. She rolled her eyes at her own childishness and slapped her forehead. Mr. Bajaj had rubbed off on her. She sounded lame and practical and annoying.

Ah. Mr. Bajaj.

Her stomach flipped and her skin went abuzz with current as she saw him materialize out of nowhere as he discarded his overcoat with a finesse and went onto undo the button on his sleeves, rolling them till elbow to reveal the tattoos engraved in his flesh. Soon enough, his rough calloused fingers found her cheeks as he traced along them, lulling her in.

She leaned into his touch before falling face front into the pillows! Withdrawing her face quickly, Prerna blinked thrice to register her solitude in the room.

Great! Fantasizing of a man who is not your husband on your wedding night is...arghh!

Focus, prerna! Focus! Anurag will be coming anytime soon so just calm down! Don't fret unnecessarily. This dilemma you're treading is a simple one. You've become habitual to Rishabh. Once you grow accustomed to Anurag yet again, normalcy will hop back into your system so just get your sh*t together!

"Good grief! Where is he?" Prerna mumbled under her breath as she gathered her skirt, got off the bed and approached the entrance to drawing room as she heard a shuffling sound.

Peeping around, she saw Anurag conversing with a man in the doorway. However, what her hindsight caught made her blood grow cold. The familiar 4 by 4 pocket she had seen Rishabh with!

C*ndoms.

Few hours earlier in the hallway, in a yet another show of coincidence, Rishabh and his company had entered the dining area exactly the same time as her. Anurag had been occupied at that time, as a waiter had walked into Rishabh and his fingers had lost their grip around the packet allowing it to grace the floor. He had been quick with its discreet disposal into his pocket but she had been in vicinity.

F*cking chocolate flavour!

Prerna opened her eyes to see the man leaving as Anurag turned around. Sh*t. She could not do it. Not now atleast. The moment that will hold significance to anurag will amount to nothing for her especially when her head was filled with another! And this would be injustice to Anurag. She needed to delay it...postpone it without hurting his feelings.

"Kya karu?!" Prerna bit on her fingernail furiously as her eyes fell on the ring in her forefinger.

~*~*~*~

"Seriously!" She smiled incredulous inspecting the cheap ornamental ring on her forefinger.

He only raised his brows in casual query.

"Which era do you belong to Mr. Bajaj?! I mean....sleeping meds in a ring?!" She gave him a puzzled expression as he brushed her off.

"In case you are misunderstanding, I am not an immortal burdening the earth since ancient times", he quipped, slipping his hand into his pocket, "It's just a precautionary measure in case you ever find yourself in a fix!" He shrugged while she continued to size up the ring in amusement.

~*~*~*~

She flipped open the red marble to see the white powder and shook her head in wonder. How much Bajaj she had in her?

As the sound of footfall neared, she quickly emptied the contents into the glass of milk and prayed to god for it not to have expired, as she pulled down her veil and hurried to sit on the bed.

"Back to earth, Mrs Basu!" Rishabh snapped his fingers in front of her face as Prerna snapped out of thoughts of the vicious stunt she had pulled on Anurag and looked up into Rishabh's eyes and breathed in deeply.

"W-What are you doing here?In Switzerland?" She asked so softly that Rishabh could've passed it off as wisp of wind.

She waited for the answer as he registered her query and his brows furrowed. "You are here to discuss my schedule at this hour". He bit back and turned around to leave when Prerna jerked from her seat, her voice shrill.

"Don't feign ignorance, Mr. Bajaj! I've been seeing you for the past four days wherever I go and--

"Kya Switzerland aapka hai?" He tilted his head, his face a mask of blank sheet.

"Wha--

"Kya ye hotel aapka hai? Kya main aapka hoon?"

Her breath hitched as he searched her eyes for his answers.

"I am a free man. Free to do as I please. Free to go wherever I want to. I don't need your approval to be here. Rather than questioning me, why don't you ask Mr. Basu why is he taking you to places you've already been to. We've already been to".

"I-- Prerna trailed entranced by the intensity of his gaze.

"Did I see you?Yes. Was there a need to greet you? No. Did you expect me to comeover and say, hi Prerna! What a pleasure seeing my ex-wife honeymooning with her husband!"

"No, but--

Rishabh sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. "Leave Prerna. The last thing I want is for Mr. Basu to come barging and accuse me of kidnapping his wife".

"That i--

"Rishii!!"

"Be right there!" Rishabh shouted back and turned to leave before stopping in his tracks.

"You want to talk. I don't. Atleast not now when I can be doing other things".

Prerna went rigid as the insinuation of his words seeped in and her heart dropped into deep dark pits. He can't be talking about---

"Unless ofcourse you have a better offer to make"

With that, he enterred the room, closing the doors behind him.

No.No.No. He can't leave. Especially when she had freakin knocked Anurag out by spiking his milk just to meet Rishabh! She won't allow him to turn his back on her. Not on her watch.

Desperation gripped Prerna as she reached the door in two long strides and pushing it open extended her arm forward as her fingers wrapped themselves around his arm making him turn halfway to meet her determined gaze.

"You won't survive it!" She spoke up determined, her fingers caressing his jaw.

"W...hat?" His breath suddenly went shallow under her touch.

"The offer" and before Rishabh could react, her soft lips captured his as her fingers slipped behind his neck to pull him close....

I absolutely loved your update. I am so irritated with what little I watch in the show, your update was crazy. I think this is the redemption I am looking for, for Prerna. But what I figure is, a lot of your portions are dreams or imaginations right. 😆 I had to read it twice. But it's crazy. That she's fantasising about Bajaj when she's married to Anurag. I love that, idk why. I think I have always loved my OTP having an EMA. Also, even the last one is a dream? She's already asleep I guess.

Holy moly, is Mrs Prerna Basu cheating on her soulmate with Mr Rishabh Bajaj?!?!?

I love this 😂❤️

So she's here on her honeymoon, back in Switzerland (why Anurag, why?)

She sees him with another woman, playing in snow (?!?!?!😂 Mr Bajaj ko Kya ho gaya?) and aag lag gayi Prerna ke dil mein! God! Hahaha she was so bothered.

And of course she had to confront him, barging into their honeymoon suite, by lying big time and finding another woman on his bed in red, hot lingerie.😂 Rishi, you are such a heartbreaker 😂💔

Aaaannnddd wait a second! Was she trying to feel aroused for her and Anurag's wedding night by imagining Rishabh Bajaj??????😂😂😂😂😂😂 Dang.

She runs to find Rishabh once she realizes that he's also planning to use chocolate flavored condoms😂 and alarms go off in her head ⚠️ and I'm like, "Darling, you don't wanna have fun, don't. But let Rishabh Bajaj do what he wants!"😂

But she can't have that happening, not on her watch, not in her ex-honeymoon suite, not with her ex-husband!😂

So she kisses him? Was it a real kiss? Or was it an imagination? Can you please update right now so that we can know what happens 😭 this was so good!!

ETA: so she mixed some sleeping pill powder in Anurag's milk so he sleeps and she can run off to Mr Bajaj! But one second, when did Mr Bajaj give her that powder in a ring? Sometime in the past? Ooohhh I bet he never thought she'll use it on Anurag on their awaited suhaagraat 😂

Love,

-Sanu
