The past gone love affair of the Students of the Year- Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra is no secret. The two young actors dated each other for quite some time and separated thereafter. However, it looks like things have yet not cooled down even after the bridges are burnt between them. Reportedly, Sid has refused to join the All Stars Football Club, where his ex-lover Alia’s beau Ranbir Kapoor is often spotted playing.

Several B town actors like Ranbir, Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor amongst many others are often seen playing at the Football club. The club approaches celebrities every quarter, but Sidharth has refused to join and is in no mood to return to the field, reported Spotboye. The grapevines are incontestably abuzz that the reason behind this is the fact that his ex-girlfriend Alia Bhatt’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor is actively associated with the club.

Sid and Alia did not acknowledge their relationship in public when they were dating. And while the former always stepped back from talking about it, Alia had mentioned about their rapport in an earlier interview. She had said that she has a lot of respect for Sidharth, adding that they started off together in the industry, she has known his for a long time and there's too much history between them.

"Honestly, there will never be issues. I have nothing but just positivity in my heart for him. I'm sure he wishes the same as well. We have witnessed several milestones of our lives together. He spoke about meeting and chatting and we were fine. There are no bad vibes," DNA quoted Alia as saying.

Besides, Sidharth has been linked with various names in the industry for the longest time now. Right from Jacqueline Fernandez, Tara Sutaria to Kiara Advani, a lot has been talked about the love life of the handsome hunk. However, nothing concrete has managed to surface beyond the rumor mills.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sid will be seen essaying the role of The Kargi War Hero-Captain Vikram Batra in his biopic, titled Shershaah, co-starring Kiara Advani as the female lead in the film. Written by Sandeep Srivastava and produced by Karan Johar under his banner of Dharma Productions, the Sidharth-Kiara starrer biographical film is slated to release in 2020.

It has been close to two years that Sid hasn’t played football with the all star team. Why write about it now? Alia’s PR trying to present her as the mature one with that quote. The same girl who said “who? Malhotra?” On KWK? By the way that quote Spotboye has included is practically copy of Sid’s quote about her from his appearance on KWK. Alia got trolled for her “Who? Malhotra?” comment and Sid got praised for his comments about having a lot history and they were friends before being a couple and there’s a lot of happy memories. So she blatantly changed her stance and copied Sid’s. Anyway, all this happened almost a year ago. Why bring it up now?

I used to love these two together. Though they never gave anything about their relationship but from the interviews and all it seemed they understood each other and cared so much for each other, they were so comfortable and easy around each other unlike Alia and Ranbir who always seem so awkward.

I have never heard Alia say anything as such in her interviews. If anyone has please share the link. As far as I know it's only Sid who has been responding to their relation related questions.

And I don't understand what's the point of the article. Even if Sid is avoiding the game cause of Ranbir then it's very mature of him. If hes not comfortable then why go? Like on that trip they all went, how he avoided sitting with Alia and Ranbir and sat with Rajkumar separately to save all from the awkward situation. Unlike Ranbir and Alia he seems to be considerate about others feelings.

I also really liked them together! They were cute, she was always so extra enthu around him and he was adorable around her too, unlike Ranbir who just DNGAF. I didn't think they were just a PR couple.
